1 [1](ALEF) Beati quelli che sono integri nelle loro vie, che camminano secondo la legge del Signore. 2 Beati quelli che osservano i suoi insegnamenti, che lo cercano con tutto il cuore 3 e non commettono il male, ma camminano nelle sue vie. 4 Tu hai dato i tuoi precetti perché siano osservati con cura. 5 Sia ferma la mia condotta nell’osservanza dei tuoi statuti! 6 Non dovrò vergognarmi quando considererò tutti i tuoi comandamenti. 7 Ti celebrerò con cuore retto, imparando i tuoi giusti decreti. 8 Osserverò i tuoi statuti, non abbandonarmi mai. (BET) 9 Come potrà il giovane rendere pura la sua via? Badando a essa mediante la tua parola. 10 Ti ho cercato con tutto il mio cuore; non lasciare che mi allontani dai tuoi comandamenti. 11 Ho conservato la tua parola nel mio cuore per non peccare contro di te. 12 Tu sei benedetto, o Signore; insegnami i tuoi statuti. 13 Ho enumerato con le mie labbra tutti i giudizi della tua bocca. 14 Gioisco seguendo le tue testimonianze, come se possedessi tutte le ricchezze. 15 Io mediterò sui tuoi precetti e considererò i tuoi sentieri. 16 Mi diletterò nei tuoi statuti e non dimenticherò la tua parola. (GHIMEL) 17 Fa’ del bene al tuo servo perché io viva e osservi la tua parola. 18 Apri i miei occhi e contemplerò le meraviglie della tua legge. 19 Io sono straniero sulla terra; non nascondermi i tuoi comandamenti. 20 L’anima mia si consuma per il desiderio dei tuoi giudizi in ogni tempo. 21 Tu rimproveri i superbi, i maledetti, che si allontanano dai tuoi comandamenti. 22 Togli via da me l’insulto e il disprezzo perché ho osservato le tue testimonianze. 23 Quando i potenti si siedono a sparlare di me, il tuo servo medita i tuoi statuti. 24 Le tue testimonianze sono la mia gioia; esse sono i miei consiglieri. (DALET) 25 L’anima mia è avvilita nella polvere; ravvivami secondo la tua parola. 26 Ti ho confidato le mie vie e tu mi hai risposto; insegnami i tuoi statuti. 27 Fammi comprendere la via dei tuoi precetti e io mediterò sui tuoi prodigi. 28 L’anima mia, dal dolore, si consuma in lacrime; dammi sollievo con la tua parola. 29 Tieni lontana da me la via della menzogna e, nella tua grazia, fammi comprendere la tua legge. 30 Io ho scelto la via della fedeltà, ho posto i tuoi giudizi davanti ai miei occhi. 31 Ho aderito ai tuoi statuti; o Signore, non permettere che io sia confuso. 32 Io correrò per la via dei tuoi comandamenti, perché mi hai allargato il cuore. (HE) 33 Insegnami, o Signore, la via dei tuoi statuti e io la seguirò sino alla fine. 34 Dammi intelligenza e osserverò la tua legge; la praticherò con tutto il cuore. 35 Guidami per il sentiero dei tuoi comandamenti, poiché in esso trovo la mia gioia. 36 Inclina il mio cuore alle tue testimonianze e non alla cupidigia. 37 Distogli gli occhi miei dal contemplare la vanità e fammi vivere nelle tue vie. 38 Sii fedele alla parola data al tuo servo, perché si abbia timore di te. 39 Allontana da me il disprezzo che mi avvilisce, perché i tuoi giudizi sono buoni. 40 Ecco, io desidero i tuoi precetti, ravvivami nella tua giustizia. (VAV) 41 Mi raggiunga la tua bontà, o Signore, e salvami, secondo la tua parola; 42 e avrò di che rispondere a chi mi offende, perché confido nella tua parola. 43 Non togliere mai dalla mia bocca la parola giusta, perché spero nei tuoi giudizi. 44 Io osserverò sempre la tua legge, per l’eternità. 45 Sicuro proseguirò nella mia strada, perché ricerco i tuoi precetti. 46 Parlerò delle tue testimonianze davanti ai re e non avrò da vergognarmi. 47 Troverò gioia nei tuoi comandamenti, perché li amo. 48 Alzerò le mie mani verso i tuoi comandamenti che amo e mediterò sui tuoi statuti. (ZAIN) 49 Ricòrdati della parola data al tuo servo, con la quale mi hai fatto sperare. 50 Questo mi è di conforto nell’afflizione: che la tua parola mi fa vivere. 51 I superbi mi coprono di scherno, ma io non mi svio dalla tua legge. 52 Ricordo i tuoi giudizi antichi, o Signore, e mi consolo. 53 Grande sdegno mi prende a causa degli empi che abbandonano la tua legge. 54 I tuoi statuti sono per me dei cantici, nella casa dove sono ospite. 55 Ricordo il tuo nome nella notte, o Signore, e osservo la tua legge. 56 Ho questo conforto: che osservo i tuoi precetti. (HET) 57 Il Signore è la mia parte; ho promesso di osservare le tue parole. 58 Ti ho supplicato con tutto il cuore: «Abbi pietà di me, secondo la tua parola». 59 Ho esaminato le mie vie e ho orientato i miei passi verso le tue testimonianze. 60 Senza indugiare, mi sono affrettato a osservare i tuoi comandamenti. 61 Le corde degli empi mi hanno avvinghiato, ma io non ho dimenticato la tua legge. 62 A metà della notte mi alzo per lodarti a motivo dei tuoi giusti giudizi. 63 Io sono amico di tutti quelli che ti temono, di quelli che osservano i tuoi precetti. 64 Signore, la terra è piena della tua bontà; insegnami i tuoi statuti. (TET) 65 Tu hai fatto del bene al tuo servo, o Signore, secondo la tua parola. 66 Concedimi senno e intelligenza, perché ho creduto nei tuoi comandamenti. 67 Prima di essere afflitto, andavo errando, ma ora osservo la tua parola. 68 Tu sei buono e fai del bene; insegnami i tuoi statuti. 69 I superbi inventano menzogne contro di me, ma io osservo i tuoi precetti con tutto il cuore. 70 Il loro cuore è insensibile come il grasso, ma io mi diletto nella tua legge. 71 È stata un bene per me l’afflizione subita, perché imparassi i tuoi statuti. 72 La legge della tua bocca per me vale più di migliaia di monete d’oro e d’argento. (IOD) 73 Le tue mani mi hanno fatto e formato; dammi intelligenza e imparerò i tuoi comandamenti. 74 Quelli che ti temono mi vedranno e si rallegreranno, perché ho sperato nella tua parola. 75 Io so, Signore, che i tuoi giudizi sono giusti e che mi hai afflitto nella tua fedeltà. 76 La tua bontà sia il mio conforto, secondo la parola data al tuo servo. 77 Venga su di me la tua compassione, e vivrò; perché la tua legge è la mia gioia. 78 Siano confusi i superbi, che mentendo mi opprimono; ma io medito sui tuoi precetti. 79 Si rivolgano a me quelli che ti temono e quelli che conoscono le tue testimonianze. 80 Sia perfetta la mia ubbidienza ai tuoi statuti perché io non sia confuso. (CAF) 81 L’anima mia vien meno nell’attesa della tua salvezza; io spero nella tua parola. 82 Si spengono i miei occhi desiderosi della tua parola, mentre dico: «Quando mi consolerai?» 83 Poiché io sono divenuto come un otre affumicato; ma non dimentico i tuoi statuti. 84 Quanti sono i giorni del tuo servo? Quando punirai quelli che mi perseguitano? 85 I superbi mi hanno scavato delle fosse; essi non agiscono secondo la tua legge. 86 Tutti i tuoi comandamenti sono fedeltà; costoro mi perseguitano a torto; soccorrimi! 87 Per poco non mi hanno eliminato dalla terra; ma io non ho abbandonato i tuoi precetti. 88 Rendimi la vita secondo la tua bontà e io osserverò la testimonianza della tua bocca. (LAMED) 89 Per sempre, Signore, la tua parola è stabile nei cieli. 90 La tua fedeltà dura per ogni generazione; tu hai fondato la terra ed essa sussiste. 91 Tutto sussiste anche oggi secondo le tue leggi, perché ogni cosa è al tuo servizio. 92 Se la tua legge non fosse stata la mia gioia, sarei già perito nella mia afflizione. 93 Mai dimenticherò i tuoi precetti, perché per mezzo di essi tu mi dai la vita. 94 Io sono tuo; salvami, perché ho ricercato i tuoi precetti. 95 Gli empi si sono appostati per farmi perire, ma io medito sulle tue testimonianze. 96 Ho visto che ogni cosa perfetta ha un limite, ma il tuo comandamento è senza limiti. (MEM) 97 Oh, quanto amo la tua legge! È la mia meditazione di tutto il giorno. 98 I tuoi comandamenti mi rendono più saggio dei miei nemici; perché sono sempre con me. 99 Ho più conoscenza di tutti i miei maestri, perché le tue testimonianze sono la mia meditazione. 100 Ho più saggezza dei vecchi, perché ho osservato i tuoi precetti. 101 Ho trattenuto i miei piedi da ogni sentiero malvagio, per osservare la tua parola. 102 Non mi sono allontanato dai tuoi giudizi, perché tu mi hai istruito. 103 Oh, come sono dolci le tue parole al mio palato! Sono più dolci del miele alla mia bocca. 104 Mediante i tuoi precetti io divento intelligente; perciò detesto ogni doppiezza. (NUN) 105 La tua parola è una lampada al mio piede e una luce sul mio sentiero. 106 Ho giurato, e lo manterrò, di osservare i tuoi giusti giudizi. 107 Io sono molto afflitto; Signore, rinnova la mia vita secondo la tua parola. 108 Signore, gradisci le offerte volontarie delle mie labbra e insegnami i tuoi giudizi. 109 La mia vita è sempre in pericolo, ma io non dimentico la tua legge. 110 Gli empi mi hanno teso dei lacci, ma io non mi sono allontanato dai tuoi precetti. 111 Le tue testimonianze sono la mia eredità per sempre, esse sono la gioia del mio cuore. 112 Ho messo il mio impegno a praticare i tuoi statuti, sempre, sino alla fine. (SAMEC) 113 Io detesto gli uomini non sinceri, ma amo la tua legge. 114 Tu sei il mio rifugio e il mio scudo; io spero nella tua parola. 115 Allontanatevi da me, malvagi; io osserverò i comandamenti del mio Dio. 116 Sostienimi secondo la tua parola, perché io viva; non rendermi confuso nella mia speranza. 117 Sii il mio sostegno, e sarò salvo, terrò sempre i tuoi statuti davanti agli occhi. 118 Tu disprezzi quanti si sviano dai tuoi statuti, perché il loro inganno è perfidia. 119 tu getti via come scorie tutti gli empi dalla terra; perciò amo le tue testimonianze. 120 Tu mi fai rabbrividire di paura; io temo i tuoi giudizi. (AIN) 121 Mi sono comportato secondo il diritto e la giustizia; non abbandonarmi ai miei oppressori. 122 Garantisci sicurezza al tuo servo e non lasciare che i superbi mi opprimano. 123 Si spengono i miei occhi desiderando la tua salvezza e la parola della tua giustizia. 124 Agisci verso il tuo servo secondo la tua bontà e insegnami i tuoi statuti. 125 Io sono tuo servo; dammi intelligenza perché possa conoscere le tue testimonianze. 126 È tempo che il Signore agisca; essi hanno annullato la tua legge. 127 Perciò io amo i tuoi comandamenti più dell’oro, più dell’oro finissimo. 128 Per questo ritengo giusti tutti i tuoi precetti e odio ogni sentiero di menzogna. (PE) 129 Le tue testimonianze sono meravigliose; perciò l’anima mia le osserva. 130 La rivelazione delle tue parole illumina; rende intelligenti i semplici. 131 Apro la bocca e sospiro, per il desiderio dei tuoi comandamenti. 132 Volgiti a me e abbi pietà, come usi fare con chi ama il tuo nome. 133 Guida i miei passi nella tua parola e non lasciare che alcuna iniquità mi domini. 134 Liberami dall’oppressione degli uomini e osserverò i tuoi precetti. 135 Fa’ risplendere il tuo volto sul tuo servo e insegnami i tuoi statuti. 136 Fiumi di lacrime mi scendono dagli occhi, perché la tua legge non è osservata. (SADE) 137 Tu sei giusto, Signore, e retti sono i tuoi giudizi. 138 Tu hai prescritto le tue testimonianze con giustizia e con grande fedeltà. 139 Il mio zelo mi consuma perché i miei nemici hanno dimenticato le tue parole. 140 La tua parola è pura d’ogni scoria; perciò il tuo servo l’ama. 141 Sono piccolo e disprezzato, ma non dimentico i tuoi precetti. 142 La tua giustizia è una giustizia eterna e la tua legge è verità. 143 Affanno e tribolazione mi hanno colto, ma i tuoi comandamenti sono la mia gioia. 144 Le tue testimonianze sono giuste in eterno; dammi intelligenza e io vivrò. (QOF) 145 Io grido con tutto il cuore; rispondimi, Signore! Osserverò i tuoi statuti. 146 Io t’invoco; salvami, e osserverò le tue testimonianze. 147 Mi alzo prima dell’alba e grido; io spero nella tua parola. 148 Gli occhi miei prevengono le veglie della notte, per meditare la tua parola. 149 Ascolta la mia voce secondo la tua bontà; Signore, fammi vivere secondo la tua giustizia. 150 Si avvicinano quelli che vanno dietro all’infamia: essi sono lontani dalla tua legge. 151 Tu sei vicino, Signore, e tutti i tuoi comandamenti sono verità. 152 Da lungo tempo conosco le tue testimonianze che hai stabilite in eterno. (RES) 153 Considera la mia afflizione e liberami; perché non ho dimenticato la tua legge. 154 Difendi tu la mia causa e riscattami; dammi la vita secondo la tua parola. 155 La salvezza è lontana dagli empi, perché non cercano i tuoi statuti. 156 Le tue compassioni sono grandi, Signore; dammi la vita secondo i tuoi giudizi. 157 I miei persecutori e i miei avversari sono tanti, ma io non devio dalle tue testimonianze. 158 Ho visto i traditori e ne ho provato orrore, perché non osservano la tua parola. 159 Vedi come amo i tuoi precetti! Signore, dammi la vita secondo la tua bontà. 160 La somma della tua parola è verità; tutti i tuoi giusti giudizi durano in eterno. (SIN) 161 I potenti mi hanno perseguitato senza ragione, ma il mio cuore ha timore delle tue parole. 162 Gioisco della tua parola, come chi trova un grande bottino. 163 Odio e detesto la menzogna, ma amo la tua legge. 164 Io ti lodo sette volte al giorno per i tuoi giusti giudizi. 165 Grande pace hanno quelli che amano la tua legge e non c’è nulla che possa farli cadere. 166 Io ho sperato nella tua salvezza, Signore, e ho messo in pratica i tuoi comandamenti. 167 La mia anima ha osservato le tue testimonianze e io le amo molto. 168 Ho osservato i tuoi precetti e le tue testimonianze, perché tutte le mie vie ti stanno davanti. (TAV) 169 Giunga il mio grido fino a te, Signore; dammi intelligenza secondo la tua parola. 170 Giunga la mia supplica in tua presenza; liberami secondo la tua parola. 171 Le mie labbra esprimeranno la tua lode, perché tu m’insegni i tuoi statuti. 172 La mia lingua celebrerà la tua parola, perché tutti i tuoi comandamenti sono giustizia. 173 La tua mano mi aiuti, perché ho scelto i tuoi precetti. 174 Io bramo la tua salvezza, Signore, e la tua legge è la mia gioia. 175 L’anima mia viva, ed essa ti loderà; e mi soccorrano i tuoi giudizi. 176 Io vado errando come pecora smarrita; cerca il tuo servo, perché io non dimentico i tuoi comandamenti.

1 [1] Glücklich die, die ohne Tadel sind! / Sie leben in Jahwes Gesetz![2] 2 Wie glücklich sind die, die halten, was er verordnet[3] hat! / Mit ganzem Herzen suchen sie ihn. 3 Sie werden kein Unrecht mehr tun, / denn sie gehen gern auf Gottes Weg.[4] – 4 Ja, du hast uns Vorschriften[5] gemacht, / damit wir sie ernsthaft befolgen. 5 Gern würde ich beständig sein / im Hören auf dein Gesetz.[6] 6 Dann muss ich mich nicht schämen, / wenn mein Blick auf deine Gebote[7] fällt. – 7 Ich preise dich mit ehrlichem Herzen, / wenn ich die Bestimmungen[8] lerne, in denen sich deine Gerechtigkeit zeigt. 8 Deine Gesetze will ich befolgen, / lass mich dabei aber nicht allein! 9 Wie hält ein junger Mann sein Leben rein? / Indem er tut, was du ihm sagst! – 10 Von ganzem Herzen suche ich dich, / halte mich bei deinem Gebot! 11 Dein Wort[9] habe ich im Herzen verwahrt, / weil ich nicht gegen dich sündigen will. – 12 Ich will dich loben, Jahwe! / Bring mir deine Ordnungen bei! 13 Gern erzähle ich weiter, / was du entschieden hast. 14 Es macht mir Freude zu tun, was du sagst, / mehr als aller Reichtum Freude macht. 15 Über deine Gebote denke ich nach, / und ich achte auf deinen Weg.[10] 16 An deinen Ordnungen habe ich Lust, / und deine Worte[11] vergesse ich nicht. 17 Sei gut zu deinem Diener, / dann lebe ich auf und halte dein Wort. 18 Öffne du mir die Augen, / damit ich erkenne die Wunder in deinem Gesetz. – 19 Ich bin nur ein Gast, ein Fremder im Land: / Verweigere mir deine Gebote nicht! 20 Ich verzehre mich vor Verlangen danach, / ich sehne mich immer nach deinem Gesetz. – 21 Die Überheblichen hast du bedroht. / Ja, verflucht ist, wer abweicht von deinem Gebot. 22 Wälze Verachtung und Hohn von mir ab, / denn ich habe gehalten, was du verordnet hast. 23 Mögen auch die Oberen sitzen / und Rat gegen mich halten – dein Diener sitzt über deinem Gebot. 24 An deinen Weisungen freue ich mich. / Sie geben immer guten Rat. 25 Ich liege ohne Kraft und klebe am Staub; / belebe mich nach deinem Wort! 26 Ich klagte mein Leid und du hörtest mich an. / Belehre mich durch dein Gesetz! 27 Lass mir deine Vorschriften einsichtig sein; / über deine Wunder sinne ich nach. 28 Vor lauter Kummer muss ich weinen: / Richte mich auf nach deinem Wort! – 29 Vom Weg der Lüge halte mich fern! / Beschenke mich mit deinem Gesetz! 30 Ich habe mich für die Wahrheit entschieden, / habe vor mich gestellt dein göttliches Recht. 31 An deinen Anordnungen halte ich fest. / Jahwe, beschäme mich nicht! 32 Auf dem Weg deiner Gebote werde ich gehen, / denn du machst mein Herz dafür weit. 33 Den Weg deiner Vorschriften zeig mir, Jahwe, / und ich will ihn gehen bis ans Ziel. 34 Gib mir Verstand für dein Gesetz, / ich will es entschieden befolgen! 35 Leite mich auf dem Pfad deiner Gebote! / Denn diesen Weg gehe ich gern. 36 Leg mir deine Vorschriften ans Herz / und nicht den Wunsch nach Gewinn! 37 Wende meine Augen von Eitelkeit ab; / erfrische mich auf deinem Weg! – 38 Halte deinem Diener deine Zusage ein, / die jedem gilt, der Ehrfurcht vor dir hat. 39 Wende ab die Schande, vor der mir so graut! / Doch was du entscheidest, ist gut. – 40 Nach deinen Vorschriften sehne ich mich. / Durch deine Treue belebe mich, Gott. 41 Jahwe, lass deine Gnade über mich kommen, / die Rettung, wie du sie versprachst, 42 damit ich dem Lästerer antworten kann. / Ich nehme dich bei deinem Wort. 43 Nimm mir bitte nie das Wort der Wahrheit weg, / denn auf deine Urteile verlasse ich mich. – 44 Beständig befolge ich dein Gesetz; / und das will ich allezeit tun! 45 So lebe ich in einem weiten Raum, / denn ich habe deine Befehle erforscht. 46 Ich halte sie selbst den Königen vor / und schäme mich deiner Anordnungen nicht. 47 An deinen Geboten erfreue ich mich, / ich liebe sie sehr, 48 und ich hebe die Hände zu ihnen auf. / Ich denke über deine Ordnungen nach. 49 Denk an das, was du mir versprachst / und was meine Hoffnung war! 50 In all meinem Elend ist das mir der Trost, / dass dein Wort mich wieder belebt. 51 Gehässig griffen die Stolzen mich an, / doch ich wich nicht ab von deinem Gesetz. 52 Denke ich an dein ewiges Recht, / Jahwe, dann bin ich getrost. 53 Bei all den Gottlosen packt mich der Zorn, / frech verlassen sie dein Gesetz. 54 Deine Ordnungen sind mir wie ein Lied, / solange ich Gast in dieser Welt bin. 55 Auch in der Nacht denke ich an dich, Jahwe, / und auf deine Weisung habe ich Acht. 56 Dass ich deinen Regeln gefolgt bin, / ist mein Geschenk und mein Glück. 57 Du selbst, Jahwe, bist mein Gewinn, / ich werde mich richten nach deinem Wort. 58 Von ganzem Herzen bitte ich dich, / sei mir gnädig, wie du es zugesagt hast! 59 Ich habe meine Wege überdacht / und lenke meine Schritte zu deiner Weisung zurück. 60 Ich eile und zögere nicht, / deinen Geboten gehorsam zu sein. 61 Fesselt mich auch der Gottlosen Strick, / dein Gesetz vergesse ich nicht. 62 Selbst mitternachts stehe ich auf / und danke für dein gerechtes Gesetz. – 63 Den Gottesfürchtigen bin ich ein Freund, / denen, die deine Befehle befolgen. – 64 Jahwe, deine Güte erfüllt alle Welt. / Lehre mich, deinen Willen zu tun! 65 Du hast deinem Diener viel Gutes getan, / wie du es mir versprochen hast, Jahwe. 66 Nun lehre mich das Gute zu verstehen, / denn ich glaube deinem Gebot. 67 Ich irrte, bevor ich gedemütigt war, / jetzt aber halte ich mich an dein Wort. 68 Gut bist du und Gutes tust du, / bring mir deine Ordnungen bei! 69 Man hat mich besudelt, mit Lügen behängt, / doch ich halte dein Gebot von ganzem Herzen fest. 70 Das Herz der Stolzen ist stumpf und fett, / doch ich erfreue mich an deinem Gesetz. 71 Es war gut für mich, dass ich gedemütigt wurde, / so lernte ich deine Ordnungen neu. 72 Die Weisung aus deinem Mund gilt mir mehr / als Berge von Silber und Gold. 73 Du hast mich mit deinen Händen gemacht; / hilf mir zu verstehen, was du willst! 74 Die Deinen sehen mich und freuen sich, / denn ich verlasse mich auf dein Wort. 75 Ich erkannte: Jahwe, deine Urteile sind gerecht, / zu Recht hast du mich niedergebeugt. 76 Nun gebe deine Gnade mir Trost, / denn du hast deinem Diener zugesagt, 77 dass dein Erbarmen mein Leben erhält, / denn dein Gesetz ist meine Lust. – 78 Bring doch die schamlosen Lügner zu Fall, denn sie haben mir böse Unrecht getan! 1 Dichosos los que van por caminos perfectos, los que andan conforme a la ley del Señor. 2 Dichosos los que guardan sus estatutos y de todo corazón lo buscan. 3 Jamás hacen nada malo, sino que siguen los caminos de Dios. 4 Tú has establecido tus preceptos, para que se cumplan fielmente. 5 ¡Cuánto deseo afirmar mis caminos para cumplir tus decretos! 6 No tendré que pasar vergüenzas cuando considere todos tus mandamientos. 7 Te alabaré con integridad de corazón, cuando aprenda tus justos juicios. 8 Tus decretos cumpliré; no me abandones del todo. 9 ¿Cómo puede el joven llevar una vida íntegra? Viviendo conforme a tu palabra. 10 Yo te busco con todo el corazón; no dejes que me desvíe de tus mandamientos. 11 En mi corazón atesoro tus dichos para no pecar contra ti. 12 ¡Bendito seas, Señor! ¡Enséñame tus decretos! 13 Con mis labios he proclamado todos los juicios que has emitido. 14 Me regocijo en el camino de tus estatutos más que en[1] todas las riquezas. 15 En tus preceptos medito, y pongo mis ojos en tus sendas. 16 En tus decretos hallo mi deleite, y jamás olvidaré tu palabra. 17 Trata con bondad a este siervo tuyo; así viviré y obedeceré tu palabra. 18 Ábreme los ojos, para que contemple las maravillas de tu ley. 19 En esta tierra soy un extranjero; no escondas de mí tus mandamientos. 20 A toda hora siento un nudo en la garganta por el deseo de conocer tus juicios. 21 Tú reprendes a los insolentes; ¡malditos los que se apartan de tus mandamientos! 22 Aleja de mí el menosprecio y el desdén, pues yo cumplo tus estatutos. 23 Aun los poderosos se confabulan contra mí, pero este siervo tuyo medita en tus decretos. 24 Tus estatutos son mi deleite; son también mis consejeros. 25 Postrado estoy en el polvo; dame vida conforme a tu palabra. 26 Tú me respondiste cuando te hablé de mis caminos. ¡Enséñame tus decretos! 27 Hazme entender el camino de tus preceptos, y meditaré en tus maravillas. 28 De angustia se me derrite el alma: susténtame conforme a tu palabra. 29 Manténme alejado de caminos torcidos; concédeme las bondades de tu ley. 30 He optado por el camino de la fidelidad, he escogido tus juicios. 31 Yo, Señor, me apego a tus estatutos; no me hagas pasar vergüenza. 32 Corro por el camino de tus mandamientos, porque has ampliado mi modo de pensar. 33 Enséñame, Señor, a seguir tus decretos, y los cumpliré hasta el fin. 34 Dame entendimiento para seguir tu ley, y la cumpliré de todo corazón. 35 Dirígeme por la senda de tus mandamientos, porque en ella encuentro mi solaz. 36 Inclina mi corazón hacia tus estatutos y no hacia las ganancias desmedidas. 37 Aparta mi vista de cosas vanas, dame vida conforme a tu palabra.[2] 38 Confirma tu promesa a este siervo, como lo has hecho con los que te temen. 39 Líbrame del oprobio que me aterra, porque tus juicios son buenos. 40 ¡Yo amo tus preceptos! ¡Dame vida conforme a tu justicia! 41 Envíame, Señor, tu gran amor y tu salvación, conforme a tu promesa. 42 Así responderé a quien me desprecie, porque yo confío en tu palabra. 43 No me quites de la boca la palabra de verdad, pues en tus juicios he puesto mi esperanza. 44 Por toda la eternidad obedeceré fielmente tu ley. 45 Viviré con toda libertad, porque he buscado tus preceptos. 46 Hablaré de tus estatutos a los reyes y no seré avergonzado, 47 pues amo tus mandamientos, y en ellos me regocijo. 48 Yo amo tus mandamientos, y hacia ellos elevo mis manos; ¡quiero meditar en tus decretos! 49 Acuérdate de la palabra que diste a este siervo tuyo, palabra con la que me infundiste esperanza. 50 Éste es mi consuelo en medio del dolor: que tu promesa me da vida. 51 Los insolentes me ofenden hasta el colmo, pero yo no me aparto de tu ley. 52 Me acuerdo, Señor, de tus juicios de antaño, y encuentro consuelo en ellos. 53 Me llenan de indignación los impíos, que han abandonado tu ley. 54 Tus decretos han sido mis cánticos en el lugar de mi destierro. 55 Señor, por la noche evoco tu nombre; ¡quiero cumplir tu ley! 56 Lo que a mí me corresponde es obedecer tus preceptos.[3] 57 ¡Mi herencia eres tú, Señor! Prometo obedecer tus palabras. 58 De todo corazón busco tu rostro; compadécete de mí conforme a tu promesa. 59 Me he puesto a pensar en mis caminos, y he orientado mis pasos hacia tus estatutos. 60 Me doy prisa, no tardo nada para cumplir tus mandamientos. 61 Aunque los lazos de los impíos me aprisionan, yo no me olvido de tu ley. 62 A medianoche me levanto a darte gracias por tus rectos juicios. 63 Soy amigo de todos los que te honran, de todos los que observan tus preceptos. 64 Enséñame, Señor, tus decretos; ¡la tierra está llena de tu gran amor! 65 Tú, Señor, tratas bien a tu siervo, conforme a tu palabra. 66 Impárteme conocimiento y buen juicio, pues yo creo en tus mandamientos. 67 Antes de sufrir anduve descarriado, pero ahora obedezco tu palabra. 68 Tú eres bueno, y haces el bien; enséñame tus decretos. 69 Aunque los insolentes me difaman, yo cumplo tus preceptos con todo el corazón. 70 El corazón de ellos es torpe e insensible, pero yo me regocijo en tu ley. 71 Me hizo bien haber sido afligido, porque así llegué a conocer tus decretos. 72 Para mí es más valiosa tu enseñanza que millares de monedas de oro y plata. 73 Con tus manos me creaste, me diste forma. Dame entendimiento para aprender tus mandamientos. 74 Los que te honran se regocijan al verme, porque he puesto mi esperanza en tu palabra. 75 Señor, yo sé que tus juicios son justos, y que con justa razón me afliges. 76 Que sea tu gran amor mi consuelo, conforme a la promesa que hiciste a tu siervo. 77 Que venga tu compasión a darme vida, porque en tu ley me regocijo. 78 Sean avergonzados los insolentes que sin motivo me maltratan; yo, por mi parte, meditaré en tus preceptos. 79 Que se reconcilien conmigo los que te temen, los que conocen tus estatutos. 80 Sea mi corazón íntegro hacia tus decretos, para que yo no sea avergonzado. 81 Esperando tu salvación se me va la vida. En tu palabra he puesto mi esperanza. 82 Mis ojos se consumen esperando tu promesa, y digo: «¿Cuándo vendrás a consolarme?» 83 Parezco un odre ennegrecido por el humo, pero no me olvido de tus decretos. 84 ¿Cuánto más vivirá este siervo tuyo? ¿Cuándo juzgarás a mis perseguidores? 85 Me han cavado trampas los insolentes, los que no viven conforme a tu ley. 86 Todos tus mandamientos son fidedignos; ¡ayúdame!, pues falsos son mis perseguidores. 87 Por poco me borran de la tierra, pero yo no abandono tus preceptos. 88 Por tu gran amor, dame vida y cumpliré tus estatutos. 89 Tu palabra, Señor, es eterna, y está firme en los cielos. 90 Tu fidelidad permanece para siempre; estableciste la tierra, y quedó firme. 91 Todo subsiste hoy, conforme a tus decretos, porque todo está a tu servicio. 92 Si tu ley no fuera mi regocijo, la aflicción habría acabado conmigo. 93 Jamás me olvidaré de tus preceptos, pues con ellos me has dado vida. 94 ¡Sálvame, pues te pertenezco y escudriño tus preceptos! 95 Los impíos me acechan para destruirme, pero yo me esfuerzo por entender tus estatutos. 96 He visto que aun la perfección tiene sus límites; ¡sólo tus mandamientos son infinitos! 97 ¡Cuánto amo yo tu ley! Todo el día medito en ella. 98 Tus mandamientos me hacen más sabio que mis enemigos porque me pertenecen para siempre. 99 Tengo más discernimiento que todos mis maestros porque medito en tus estatutos. 100 Tengo más entendimiento que los ancianos porque obedezco tus preceptos. 101 Aparto mis pies de toda mala senda para cumplir con tu palabra. 102 No me desvío de tus juicios porque tú mismo me instruyes. 103 ¡Cuán dulces son a mi paladar tus palabras! ¡Son más dulces que la miel a mi boca! 104 De tus preceptos adquiero entendimiento; por eso aborrezco toda senda de mentira. 105 Tu palabra es una lámpara a mis pies; es una luz en mi sendero. 106 Hice un juramento, y lo he confirmado: que acataré tus rectos juicios. 107 Señor, es mucho lo que he sufrido; dame vida conforme a tu palabra. 108 Señor, acepta la ofrenda que brota de mis labios; enséñame tus juicios. 109 Mi vida pende de un hilo,[4] pero no me olvido de tu ley. 110 Los impíos me han tendido una trampa, pero no me aparto de tus preceptos. 111 Tus estatutos son mi herencia permanente; son el regocijo de mi corazón. 112 Inclino mi corazón a cumplir tus decretos para siempre y hasta el fin. 113 Aborrezco a los hipócritas, pero amo tu ley. 114 Tú eres mi escondite y mi escudo; en tu palabra he puesto mi esperanza. 115 ¡Malhechores, apártense de mí, que quiero cumplir los mandamientos de mi Dios! 116 Sosténme conforme a tu promesa, y viviré; no defraudes mis esperanzas. 117 Defiéndeme, y estaré a salvo; siempre optaré por tus decretos. 118 Tú rechazas a los que se desvían de tus decretos, porque sólo maquinan falsedades. 119 Tú desechas como escoria a los impíos de la tierra; por eso amo tus estatutos. 120 Mi cuerpo se estremece por el temor que me inspiras; siento reverencia por tus leyes. 121 Yo practico la justicia y el derecho; no me dejes en manos de mis opresores. 122 Garantiza el bienestar de tu siervo; que no me opriman los arrogantes. 123 Mis ojos se consumen esperando tu salvación, esperando que se cumpla tu justicia. 124 Trata a tu siervo conforme a tu gran amor; enséñame tus decretos. 125 Tu siervo soy: dame entendimiento y llegaré a conocer tus estatutos. 126 Señor, ya es tiempo de que actúes, pues tu ley está siendo quebrantada. 127 Sobre todas las cosas amo tus mandamientos, más que el oro, más que el oro refinado. 128 Por eso tomo en cuenta todos tus preceptos[5] y aborrezco toda senda falsa. 129 Tus estatutos son maravillosos; por eso los obedezco. 130 La exposición de tus palabras nos da luz, y da entendimiento al sencillo. 131 Jadeante abro la boca porque ansío tus mandamientos. 132 Vuélvete a mí, y tenme compasión como haces siempre con los que aman tu nombre. 133 Guía mis pasos conforme a tu promesa; no dejes que me domine la iniquidad. 134 Líbrame de la opresión humana, pues quiero obedecer tus preceptos. 135 Haz brillar tu rostro sobre tu siervo; enséñame tus decretos. 136 Ríos de lágrimas brotan de mis ojos, porque tu ley no se obedece. 137 Señor, tú eres justo, y tus juicios son rectos. 138 Justos son los estatutos que has ordenado, y muy dignos de confianza. 139 Mi celo me consume, porque mis adversarios pasan por alto tus palabras. 140 Tus promesas han superado muchas pruebas, por eso tu siervo las ama. 141 Insignificante y menospreciable como soy, no me olvido de tus preceptos. 142 Tu justicia es siempre justa; tu ley es la verdad. 143 He caído en la angustia y la aflicción, pero tus mandamientos son mi regocijo. 144 Tus estatutos son siempre justos; dame entendimiento para poder vivir. 145 Con todo el corazón clamo a ti, Señor; respóndeme, y obedeceré tus decretos. 146 A ti clamo: «¡Sálvame!» Quiero cumplir tus estatutos. 147 Muy de mañana me levanto a pedir ayuda; en tus palabras he puesto mi esperanza. 148 En toda la noche no pego los ojos,[6] para meditar en tu promesa. 149 Conforme a tu gran amor, escucha mi voz; conforme a tus juicios, Señor, dame vida. 150 Ya se acercan mis crueles perseguidores, pero andan muy lejos de tu ley. 151 Tú, Señor, también estás cerca, y todos tus mandamientos son verdad. 152 Desde hace mucho conozco tus estatutos, los cuales estableciste para siempre. 153 Considera mi aflicción, y líbrame, pues no me he olvidado de tu ley. 154 Defiende mi causa, rescátame; dame vida conforme a tu promesa. 155 La salvación está lejos de los impíos, porque ellos no buscan tus decretos. 156 Grande es, Señor, tu compasión; dame vida conforme a tus juicios. 157 Muchos son mis adversarios y mis perseguidores, pero yo no me aparto de tus estatutos. 158 Miro a esos renegados y me dan náuseas, porque no cumplen tus palabras. 159 Mira, Señor, cuánto amo tus preceptos; conforme a tu gran amor, dame vida. 160 La suma de tus palabras es la verdad; tus rectos juicios permanecen para siempre. 161 Gente poderosa[7] me persigue sin motivo, pero mi corazón se asombra ante tu palabra. 162 Yo me regocijo en tu promesa como quien halla un gran botín. 163 Aborrezco y repudio la falsedad, pero amo tu ley. 164 Siete veces al día te alabo por tus rectos juicios. 165 Los que aman tu ley disfrutan de gran bienestar, y nada los hace tropezar. 166 Yo, Señor, espero tu salvación y practico tus mandamientos. 167 Con todo mi ser cumplo tus estatutos. ¡Cuánto los amo! 168 Obedezco tus preceptos y tus estatutos, porque conoces todos mis caminos. 169 Que llegue mi clamor a tu presencia; dame entendimiento, Señor, conforme a tu palabra. 170 Que llegue a tu presencia mi súplica; líbrame, conforme a tu promesa. 171 Que rebosen mis labios de alabanza, porque tú me enseñas tus decretos. 172 Que entone mi lengua un cántico a tu palabra, pues todos tus mandamientos son justos. 173 Que acuda tu mano en mi ayuda, porque he escogido tus preceptos. 174 Yo, Señor, ansío tu salvación. Tu ley es mi regocijo. 175 Déjame vivir para alabarte; que vengan tus juicios a ayudarme. 176 Cual oveja perdida me he extraviado; ven en busca de tu siervo, porque no he olvidado tus mandamientos.
