1“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber.2But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.3To him the gatekeeper opens. The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.4When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.5A stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” (Joh 10:12)6This figure of speech Jesus used with them, but they did not understand what he was saying to them. Der gute Hirte
1Wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage euch: Wer nicht zur Tür hineingeht in den Schafstall, sondern steigt anderswo hinein, der ist ein Dieb und ein Räuber.2Der aber zur Tür hineingeht, der ist der Hirte der Schafe.3Dem macht der Türhüter auf, und die Schafe hören seine Stimme; und er ruft seine Schafe mit Namen und führt sie hinaus.4Wenn er alle seine Schafe hinausgelassen hat, geht er vor ihnen her, und die Schafe folgen ihm nach; denn sie kennen seine Stimme.5Einem Fremden aber folgen sie nicht nach, sondern fliehen vor ihm; denn sie kennen die Stimme der Fremden nicht.6Dies Gleichnis sagte Jesus zu ihnen; sie verstanden aber nicht, was er ihnen damit sagte.7Da sprach Jesus wieder: Wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage euch: Ich bin die Tür zu den Schafen.8Alle, die vor mir gekommen sind, die sind Diebe und Räuber; aber die Schafe haben ihnen nicht gehorcht.9Ich bin die Tür; wenn jemand durch mich hineingeht, wird er selig werden und wird ein und aus gehen und Weide finden. Der Vorwurf der Gotteslästerung
31Da hoben die Juden abermals Steine auf, um ihn zu steinigen. (Joh 8:59)32Jesus antwortete ihnen: Viele gute Werke habe ich euch erzeigt vom Vater; um welches dieser Werke willen wollt ihr mich steinigen?33Die Juden antworteten ihm: Um eines guten Werkes willen steinigen wir dich nicht, sondern um der Gotteslästerung willen und weil du ein Mensch bist und machst dich selbst zu Gott. (Mt 9:3; Mt 26:65; Joh 5:18)34Jesus antwortete ihnen: Steht nicht geschrieben in eurem Gesetz: »Ich habe gesagt: Ihr seid Götter«?35Wenn jene »Götter« genannt werden, zu denen das Wort Gottes geschah – und die Schrift kann doch nicht gebrochen werden –, (Mt 5:17)36wie sagt ihr dann zu dem, den der Vater geheiligt und in die Welt gesandt hat: Du lästerst Gott –, weil ich sage: Ich bin Gottes Sohn? (Joh 5:17)37Tue ich nicht die Werke meines Vaters, so glaubt mir nicht;38tue ich sie aber, so glaubt doch den Werken, wenn ihr mir nicht glauben wollt, auf dass ihr erkennt und wisst, dass der Vater in mir ist und ich im Vater.39Da suchten sie abermals, ihn zu ergreifen. Aber er entging ihren Händen. (Lu 4:30; Joh 8:59)40Und er ging wieder fort auf die andere Seite des Jordans an den Ort, wo Johannes zuvor getauft hatte, und blieb dort. (Joh 1:28)41Und viele kamen zu ihm und sprachen: Johannes hat zwar kein Zeichen getan; aber alles, was Johannes von diesem gesagt hat, das ist wahr.42Und viele dort glaubten an ihn.
