Micha tadelt die Fürsten und die falschen Propheten
1Und ich sprach: Hört doch, ihr Häupter von Jakob und ihr Fürsten des Hauses Israel! Ist es nicht eure Sache, das Recht zu kennen? (Ps 72,1; Spr 16,12; Jer 5,5; Röm 2,17)2Und doch hasst ihr das Gute und liebt das Böse; ihr zieht ihnen die Haut ab und das Fleisch von den Knochen! (Jes 5,20; Jes 5,23; Mi 3,9)3Und wenn sie dann das Fleisch meines Volkes gefressen und ihnen die Haut abgezogen, ihnen die Knochen zerbrochen und sie in Stücke zerschnitten haben, wie man sie in einen Topf tut, und wie Fleisch, das man in den Kessel legt, (Jes 3,15; Am 8,4; Zef 3,3)4dann schreien sie zum HERRN; aber er antwortet ihnen nicht, sondern verbirgt sein Angesicht vor ihnen zu jener Zeit, weil sie Böses getan haben. (5Mo 31,17; Spr 1,28; Jes 59,1; Hes 8,18; Sach 7,13)5So spricht der HERR über die Propheten, die mein Volk irreführen, die »Friede« rufen, wenn ihre Zähne etwas zu beißen haben, aber dem einen heiligen Krieg erklären, der ihnen nichts ins Maul gibt: (Jes 56,11; Jes 57,20; Jer 6,14; Jer 23,15; Kla 2,14; Hes 13,10; Hes 13,19; Röm 16,18)6Darum wird Nacht über euch kommen, ohne Gesichte, und Finsternis, dass ihr nicht wahrsagen könnt; und die Sonne wird über den Propheten untergehen und der Tag über ihnen dunkel werden; (Jes 8,20; Hes 13,23; Mt 6,23; 1Joh 1,5)7und die Seher sollen zuschanden werden und die Wahrsager schamrot dastehen; sie werden alle ihren Bart verhüllen, weil es keine Antwort von Gott mehr gibt. (3Mo 13,45; Ps 74,9; Hes 24,17; Mi 3,4; Sach 13,4)8Ich aber bin erfüllt mit Kraft, mit dem Geist des HERRN, mit Recht und Stärke, um Jakob seine Übertretung zu verkünden und Israel seine Sünde. (Jes 11,2; Jes 58,1; Apg 6,10; 2Kor 2,17; 2Tim 1,7)9Hört doch dies, ihr Häupter des Hauses Jakob und ihr Fürsten des Hauses Israel, die ihr das Recht verabscheut und jede gerechte Sache verkehrt; (Am 5,7; Mi 3,1)10die ihr Zion mit Blutschuld baut und Jerusalem mit Frevel! (Ps 55,10; Ps 62,11; Jer 22,13; Hab 2,12)11Seine Häupter sprechen Recht um Geschenke, und seine Priester lehren um Lohn, und seine Propheten wahrsagen um Geld; und dabei stützen sie sich auf den HERRN und sagen: »Ist nicht der HERR in unserer Mitte? Es kann uns kein Unheil begegnen!« (Jes 1,23; Jes 48,1; Jer 5,12; Jer 7,4; Hes 22,12; Am 9,10; Röm 2,17; Tit 1,11; 1Petr 5,2)12Darum soll um euretwillen Zion wie ein Feld gepflügt werden, und Jerusalem soll zu einem Steinhaufen werden und der Tempelberg zu einem bewaldeten Hügel! (Ps 79,1; Jer 26,18)
1Hört doch, ihr, die ihr dem Volk Jakobs vorsteht, die ihr die Anführer des Hauses Israel seid. Solltet ihr nicht eigentlich das Recht kennen? (Jer 5,5)2Aber dennoch hasst ihr das Gute und liebt das Böse. Ihr zieht meinem Volk die Haut vom Leib und reißt ihm das Fleisch von den Knochen. (Hes 22,27)3Ihr labt euch am Fleisch meines Volkes wie an einem geschlachteten Tier. Ihr zerlegt die Menschen, als wolltet ihr sie kochen und als Speise zubereiten. (Hes 11,7; Zef 3,3)4Es wird ein Tag kommen, da werdet ihr zum HERRN schreien, aber er wird euch nicht antworten. Er wird sich von euch abwenden, so wie ihr es wegen eurer bösen Taten verdient habt.« (5Mo 31,17; Spr 1,28; Jes 1,15; Jes 59,2)5So spricht der HERR gegen die Propheten, die mit ihren Prophezeiungen meinem Volk vollständig die Sinne vernebeln: »Frieden verheißt ihr denjenigen, die euch etwas zu essen geben; wer euch aber nichts gibt, dem droht ihr Gottes Strafgericht an. (Jer 6,14; Jer 14,14)6Deshalb wird die Dunkelheit über euch hereinbrechen und ihr sollt keine Visionen mehr von mir bekommen. Finsternis soll euch bedecken, sodass ihr nicht mehr weissagen könnt. Die Sonne wird über euch untergehen, sodass es selbst am Tag dunkel sein soll wie in der finstersten Nacht. (Jes 8,20; Jes 29,10; Am 8,9)7Dann werden die Seher vor Scham ihre Häupter verhüllen und die Wahrsager vor Peinlichkeit erröten. Sie werden ihren Mund bedecken, weil Gott nicht mehr durch sie spricht.« (Jes 44,25; Sach 13,4)8Mich dagegen hat der Geist des HERRN mit Kraft erfüllt, mutig für das Recht einzutreten. Er hat mir die Vollmacht gegeben, das Vergehen Jakobs beim Namen zu nennen und Israel seine Sünde vorzuhalten. (Jes 58,1; Jes 61,1)9Hört doch, ihr, die ihr dem Volk Jakobs vorsteht, die ihr die Anführer des Hauses Israel seid: Ihr verabscheut die Gerechtigkeit und beugt das Recht.10Ihr baut Zion und geht dabei über Leichen, ihr richtet Jerusalem auf und versündigt euch dabei. (Jer 22,13; Hes 22,25; Hab 2,9)11Die Oberhäupter der Stadt sind bei der Rechtsprechung bestechlich, die Priester lassen sich für die Unterweisung des Rechts bezahlen und die Propheten weissagen für Geld. Dabei berufen sie sich auf den HERRN und behaupten: »Der HERR ist doch mitten unter uns, uns kann nichts Böses geschehen.« (Jes 48,2; Hos 4,18)12Euretwegen wird Zion zu Ackerland umgepflügt und Jerusalem zu einem Trümmerhaufen gemacht werden und auf dem Tempelberg wird Gestrüpp wuchern.[1] (Jer 9,10; Jer 26,18)
1And I said: Hear, you heads of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel! Is it not for you to know justice?— (Jer 5,5; Hes 22,6; Hes 22,27; Mi 1,2)2you who hate the good and love the evil, who tear the skin from off my people[1] and their flesh from off their bones, (Hes 34,3; Mi 3,9)3who eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them, and break their bones in pieces and chop them up like meat in a pot, like flesh in a cauldron. (Ps 14,4; Jes 3,15)4Then they will cry to the Lord, but he will not answer them; he will hide his face from them at that time, because they have made their deeds evil. (5Mo 31,17; Spr 1,28; Jes 1,15)5Thus says the Lord concerning the prophets who lead my people astray, who cry “Peace” when they have something to eat, but declare war against him who puts nothing into their mouths. (Jer 6,14; Jer 23,13; Jer 23,32; Hes 13,10)6Therefore it shall be night to you, without vision, and darkness to you, without divination. The sun shall go down on the prophets, and the day shall be black over them; (Hes 12,24; Hes 13,23; Am 8,9)7the seers shall be disgraced, and the diviners put to shame; they shall all cover their lips, for there is no answer from God. (3Mo 13,45; Jer 37,19; Am 8,11; Sach 13,4)8But as for me, I am filled with power, with the Spirit of the Lord, and with justice and might, to declare to Jacob his transgression and to Israel his sin. (Jes 58,1; Jer 6,11; Hes 23,36; Mi 1,5)9Hear this, you heads of the house of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel, who detest justice and make crooked all that is straight, (Mi 1,2; Mi 3,2)10who build Zion with blood and Jerusalem with iniquity. (Jer 22,13; Hes 22,27; Hab 2,12)11Its heads give judgment for a bribe; its priests teach for a price; its prophets practice divination for money; yet they lean on the Lord and say, “Is not the Lord in the midst of us? No disaster shall come upon us.” (Jes 1,23; Jes 48,2; Jer 6,13; Jer 7,4; Jer 23,17; Hes 22,25; Am 5,14; Am 9,10; Mi 3,5; Mi 7,3)12Therefore because of you Zion shall be plowed as a field; Jerusalem shall become a heap of ruins, and the mountain of the house a wooded height. (Jer 26,18; Mi 1,6; Mi 4,2; Lk 13,35)
1Then I said, ‘Listen, you leaders of Jacob’s people! Pay attention, you rulers of Israel! You should want to judge others fairly.2But you hate what is good. And you love what is evil. You are like someone who tears the skin off my people. You pull the meat off their bones.3You eat my people’s bodies. You strip off their skin. You break their bones in pieces. You chop them up like meat. You put them in a cooking pot.’4The time will come when Israel will cry out to the LORD. But he won’t answer them. In fact, he’ll turn his face away from them. They have done what is evil.5The LORD says, ‘The prophets are those who lead my people astray. If my people feed them, the prophets promise them peace. If my people do not feed them, the prophets prepare to go to war against them.6So night will come on the prophets. But they will not have any visions. Darkness will cover them. But they will not be able to figure out what is going to happen. The sun will set on the prophets. The day will become dark for them.7Those who see visions will be put to shame. Those who try to figure out what is going to happen will be dishonoured. All of them will cover their faces. I will not answer them.’8The Spirit of the LORD has filled me with power. He helps me do what is fair. He makes me brave. Now I’m prepared to tell Jacob’s people what they’ve done wrong. I’m ready to tell Israel they’ve sinned.9Listen to me, you leaders of Jacob’s people! Pay attention, you rulers of Israel! You hate to do what is fair. You twist everything that is right.10You build up Zion by spilling the blood of others. You build Jerusalem by doing what is evil.11Your judges take money from people who want special favours. Your priests teach only if they get paid for it. Your prophets won’t tell fortunes unless they receive money. But you still look for the LORD’s help. You say, ‘The LORD is with us. No trouble will come on us.’12So because of what you have done, Zion will be ploughed up like a field. Jerusalem will be turned into a pile of rubble. The temple hill will be covered with bushes and weeds.
