1Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach:2Am ersten Tag des ersten Monats sollst du die Wohnung, die Stiftshütte, aufrichten. (2Mo 12,2; 2Mo 13,4; 2Mo 40,17)3Und du sollst die Lade des Zeugnisses hineinsetzen und die Lade mit dem Vorhang verhüllen. (2Mo 26,33; 4Mo 4,5)4Und du sollst den Tisch hineinbringen und auf ihn legen, was daraufgehört, und du sollst den Leuchter hineinbringen und die Lampen daraufsetzen. (2Mo 26,35; 3Mo 24,5)5Und du sollst den goldenen Räucheraltar vor die Lade des Zeugnisses setzen und den Vorhang am Eingang der Wohnung aufhängen. (2Mo 26,36; 2Mo 30,1; 2Mo 36,37)6Den Brandopferaltar aber sollst du vor den Eingang der Wohnung, der Stiftshütte, setzen; (2Mo 27,1)7und stelle das Becken zwischen die Stiftshütte und den Altar, und fülle Wasser hinein. (2Mo 38,8)8Und du sollst den Vorhof ringsum aufrichten und den Vorhang an den Eingang des Vorhofs hängen. (2Mo 27,9; 2Mo 38,9; 2Mo 40,33)9Und du sollst das Salböl nehmen und die Wohnung salben, samt allem, was darin ist; und du sollst sie heiligen samt allen ihren Geräten, damit sie heilig sei. (2Mo 30,25; 4Mo 7,1)10Und du sollst den Brandopferaltar salben mit allen seinen Geräten, und den Altar heiligen, damit der Altar hochheilig sei. (2Mo 29,36; 3Mo 8,10)11Du sollst auch das Becken salben samt seinem Gestell und es heiligen. (2Mo 30,18; 3Mo 8,11)12Und du sollst Aaron und seine Söhne vor den Eingang der Stiftshütte führen und sie mit Wasser waschen; (2Mo 29,4; 3Mo 8,6)13und bekleide Aaron mit den heiligen Kleidern und salbe ihn und heilige ihn, damit er mir als Priester diene. (2Mo 28,41; 2Mo 29,7)14Auch seine Söhne sollst du herbeiführen und sie mit den Leibröcken bekleiden; (2Mo 29,8)15und du sollst sie salben, wie du ihren Vater gesalbt hast, damit sie mir als Priester dienen. Und diese Salbung soll für sie ein ewiges Priestertum bedeuten für alle ihre Geschlechter. (2Mo 28,41; 2Mo 29,29; 3Mo 8,30)16Und Mose tat alles, wie es ihm der HERR geboten hatte; genau so machte er es. (2Mo 25,9; 2Mo 25,40; 2Mo 39,26; 2Mo 39,31; 2Mo 39,43)17Und es geschah im zweiten Jahr, am ersten Tag des ersten Monats, da wurde die Wohnung aufgerichtet. (4Mo 7,1)18Und Mose richtete die Wohnung auf; und er stellte die Füße auf und setzte die Bretter darauf und befestigte ihre Riegel und richtete die Säulen auf.19Und er breitete das Zelt aus über die Wohnung und legte die Decke des Zeltes obendrauf, so wie der HERR es Mose geboten hatte. (2Mo 26,1; 2Mo 36,8)20Und er nahm das Zeugnis und legte es in die Lade und steckte die Tragstangen an die Lade, und er legte den Sühnedeckel oben auf die Lade. (2Mo 25,16; 2Mo 25,21; Hebr 9,4)21Und er brachte die Lade in die Wohnung und hängte den verhüllenden Vorhang auf und verhüllte die Lade des Zeugnisses, so wie der HERR es Mose geboten hatte. (2Mo 25,10; 2Mo 26,31; 2Mo 26,34; 2Mo 35,12; Hebr 10,19)22Und er setzte den Tisch in die Stiftshütte, an die Nordseite der Wohnung, außerhalb des Vorhangs, (2Mo 25,23; 2Mo 37,10)23und er schichtete die Brote darauf vor dem HERRN, so wie der HERR es Mose geboten hatte. (2Mo 25,30; 3Mo 24,5; Hebr 9,2)24Er stellte auch den Leuchter in die Stiftshütte, dem Tisch gegenüber, an die Südseite der Wohnung, (2Mo 25,31; 2Mo 37,17; Ps 119,105; Joh 8,12)25und setzte Lampen darauf vor dem HERRN, so wie der HERR es Mose geboten hatte. (2Mo 25,37; 2Mo 37,23; 2Mo 40,4)26Und er stellte den goldenen Altar in die Stiftshütte, vor den Vorhang, (2Mo 30,1; 2Mo 40,5)27und räucherte darauf mit wohlriechendem Räucherwerk, so wie der HERR es Mose geboten hatte. (2Mo 30,7)28Und er hängte den Vorhang für den Eingang der Wohnung auf. (2Mo 26,36; 2Mo 40,5)29Aber den Brandopferaltar setzte er vor den Eingang der Wohnung, der Stiftshütte, und opferte darauf Brandopfer und Speisopfer, so wie der HERR es Mose geboten hatte. (2Mo 27,1; 2Mo 38,1)30Das Becken aber stellte er zwischen die Stiftshütte und den Altar und füllte Wasser hinein zum Waschen; (2Mo 30,18)31und Mose, Aaron und seine Söhne wuschen ihre Hände und Füße daraus. (Joh 13,5)32Sie wuschen sich, sooft sie in die Stiftshütte gingen und zum Altar traten, so wie der HERR es Mose geboten hatte. (2Mo 30,19)33Und er richtete den Vorhof auf rings um die Wohnung und um den Altar, und hängte den Vorhang für den Eingang des Vorhofs auf. So vollendete Mose das Werk. (2Mo 27,9; 2Mo 27,16; 2Mo 38,9; 2Mo 38,18)
Die Herrlichkeit des Herrn erfüllt die Stiftshütte
1Dann sprach der HERR zu Mose: »2Errichte das Zelt Gottes am ersten Tag des neuen Jahres[1]. (1Mo 12,2; 1Mo 19,1; 1Mo 40,17; 4Mo 1,1)3Stell die Bundeslade mit den Gesetzestafeln hinein und häng den Vorhang davor. (2Mo 26,33; 2Mo 40,21; 4Mo 4,5)4Bring dann den Tisch hinein und leg alles Erforderliche darauf. Bring auch den Leuchter herein und setz die Lampen darauf. (2Mo 25,30)5Stell den goldenen Räucheraltar vor die Bundeslade. Häng den Vorhang am Eingang des Zeltes Gottes auf.6Stell dann den Brandopferaltar vor den Eingang des Zeltes Gottes.7Stell das Wasserbecken zwischen das Zelt Gottes und den Altar und füll es mit Wasser. (2Mo 30,18)8Errichte den Vorhof und häng den Vorhang am Eingang des Vorhofs auf.9Nimm dann das Salböl und salbe damit das Zelt Gottes und alles, was zu ihm gehört. Weihe dadurch das Zelt Gottes mit allen seinen Geräten, damit es heilig wird. (2Mo 30,26)10Den Brandopferaltar und alle seine Geräte sollst du ebenso salben und ihn dadurch weihen, damit er besonders heilig wird.11Salbe anschließend das Wasserbecken mit seinem Untergestell, um sie zu weihen.12Lass Aaron und seine Söhne an den Eingang des Zeltes Gottes treten und wasch sie mit Wasser. (3Mo 8,1)13Zieh Aaron die heiligen Gewänder an, salbe ihn und weihe ihn so für seinen Priesterdienst.14Lass danach seine Söhne herantreten und zieh ihnen ihre Gewänder an.15Salbe sie, wie du ihren Vater gesalbt hast, damit sie mir als Priester dienen können. Durch diese Salbung wird ihnen und ihren Nachkommen das Priestertum für immer übertragen.« (2Mo 29,9; 4Mo 25,13)16Mose hielt sich genau an die Anordnungen des HERRN.17So wurde das Zelt Gottes am ersten Tag des neuen Jahres[2] – ein Jahr, nachdem sie Ägypten verlassen hatten – errichtet. (2Mo 40,2; 4Mo 7,1)18Zunächst errichtete Mose das Zelt. Dazu steckte er die Bretter in die Sockel, brachte dann die Riegel an und stellte die Säulen auf.19Dann breitete er die Zeltplane darüber aus und legte die Schutzdecken darauf, so wie der HERR es ihm befohlen hatte.20Mose legte die beiden Gesetzestafeln in die Bundeslade, steckte die Tragstangen durch die Ringe und legte die Deckplatte auf die Lade. (2Mo 25,16; 5Mo 10,5; 1Kön 8,9; 2Chr 5,10; Hebr 9,4)21Dann brachte er die Bundeslade in das Zelt Gottes und hängte den Vorhang davor, sodass der Vorhang die Bundeslade verdeckte, wie der HERR es ihm befohlen hatte.22Anschließend stellte er den Tisch in das Zelt Gottes, vor den Vorhang vor dem Allerheiligsten, an die Nordseite des Zeltes Gottes.23Er schichtete die Schaubrote[3] auf dem Tisch zu zwei Stapeln auf, wie der HERR es ihm aufgetragen hatte. (2Mo 25,30; 3Mo 24,5)24Auf die südliche Seite des Zeltes Gottes, dem Tisch gegenüber, stellte Mose den Leuchter.25Dann setzte er die Lampen vor dem HERRN auf, wie der HERR es ihm befohlen hatte.26Auch den goldenen Räucheraltar stellte er im Zelt Gottes vor dem Vorhang auf.27Darauf verbrannte er wohlriechendes Weihrauchgemisch, wie der HERR es ihm aufgetragen hatte.28Dann hängte Mose den Vorhang am Eingang des Zeltes Gottes auf29und stellte den Brandopferaltar vor den Eingang des Zeltes Gottes. Anschließend brachte er auf ihm ein Brand- und ein Speiseopfer dar, wie der HERR ihn angewiesen hatte.30Danach stellte er das Wasserbecken zwischen dem Zelt Gottes und dem Altar auf. Er füllte es mit Wasser,31damit die Priester und Mose sich darin ihre Hände und Füße waschen konnten. (2Mo 30,19)32Jedes Mal, wenn sie das Zelt Gottes betreten oder an den Altar treten wollten, reinigten sie sich dort, so wie der HERR es Mose befohlen hatte.
Die Herrlichkeit des HERRN erfüllt das Zelt Gottes
33Schließlich errichtete Mose die Wände des Vorhofs rund um das Zelt Gottes und den Altar. Und er befestigte den Vorhang am Eingang des Vorhofs. Als Mose das Werk vollendet hatte,34bedeckte die Wolke das Zelt Gottes und die Herrlichkeit des HERRN erfüllte es. (4Mo 3,15; 1Kön 8,11)35Mose konnte das Zelt Gottes nicht mehr betreten, weil die Wolke sich darauf herabgesenkt und das Zelt Gottes mit der Herrlichkeit des HERRN erfüllt hatte. (1Kön 8,10)36Jedes Mal, wenn die Wolke sich vom Zelt Gottes erhob, brachen die Israeliten auf. (4Mo 9,17; 4Mo 10,11)37Erhob die Wolke sich jedoch nicht, blieben auch sie, wo sie waren, bis die Wolke sich wieder erhob. (4Mo 9,19)38Während ihrer ganzen Wanderung ruhte die Wolke des HERRN tagsüber auf dem Zelt Gottes. In der Nacht war Feuer in der Wolke, das alle Israeliten sehen konnten. (1Kor 10,1)
1The Lord spoke to Moses, saying,2“On the first day of the first month you shall erect the tabernacle of the tent of meeting. (2Mo 35,12; 2Mo 40,21)4And you shall bring in the table and arrange it, and you shall bring in the lampstand and set up its lamps. (2Mo 26,35; 2Mo 40,22; 2Mo 40,24)5And you shall put the golden altar for incense before the ark of the testimony, and set up the screen for the door of the tabernacle. (2Mo 39,38; 2Mo 40,26)6You shall set the altar of burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, (2Mo 40,29)7and place the basin between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it. (2Mo 30,18; 2Mo 40,30)8And you shall set up the court all around, and hang up the screen for the gate of the court.9“Then you shall take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it, and consecrate it and all its furniture, so that it may become holy. (2Mo 30,26)10You shall also anoint the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and consecrate the altar, so that the altar may become most holy. (2Mo 29,37; 2Mo 30,28)11You shall also anoint the basin and its stand, and consecrate it.12Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tent of meeting and shall wash them with water (3Mo 8,1)13and put on Aaron the holy garments. And you shall anoint him and consecrate him, that he may serve me as priest.14You shall bring his sons also and put coats on them,15and anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may serve me as priests. And their anointing shall admit them to a perpetual priesthood throughout their generations.” (2Mo 28,41; 2Mo 29,7; 4Mo 25,13)16This Moses did; according to all that the Lord commanded him, so he did.17In the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was erected. (2Mo 40,2; 4Mo 7,1)18Moses erected the tabernacle. He laid its bases, and set up its frames, and put in its poles, and raised up its pillars.19And he spread the tent over the tabernacle and put the covering of the tent over it, as the Lord had commanded Moses.20He took the testimony and put it into the ark, and put the poles on the ark and set the mercy seat above on the ark. (2Mo 16,34; 2Mo 25,16)21And he brought the ark into the tabernacle and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the testimony, as the Lord had commanded Moses. (2Mo 35,12; 2Mo 40,3; 2Mo 40,20)22He put the table in the tent of meeting, on the north side of the tabernacle, outside the veil, (2Mo 26,35; 2Mo 40,4)23and arranged the bread on it before the Lord, as the Lord had commanded Moses.24He put the lampstand in the tent of meeting, opposite the table on the south side of the tabernacle, (2Mo 26,35)25and set up the lamps before the Lord, as the Lord had commanded Moses. (2Mo 25,37; 2Mo 40,4)26He put the golden altar in the tent of meeting before the veil, (2Mo 30,6; 2Mo 40,5)27and burned fragrant incense on it, as the Lord had commanded Moses.28He put in place the screen for the door of the tabernacle. (2Mo 26,36; 2Mo 40,5)29And he set the altar of burnt offering at the entrance of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the grain offering, as the Lord had commanded Moses. (2Mo 29,41; 2Mo 30,9; 2Mo 40,6)30He set the basin between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it for washing, (2Mo 40,7)31with which Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet. (2Mo 30,19; 2Mo 30,21)32When they went into the tent of meeting, and when they approached the altar, they washed, as the Lord commanded Moses.33And he erected the court around the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work. (2Mo 27,9; 2Mo 27,16; 2Mo 40,8; Hebr 3,2; Hebr 3,5)
The Glory of the Lord
34Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. (2Mo 13,21; 2Mo 29,43; 3Mo 16,2; 4Mo 9,15; 1Kön 8,10; 2Chr 5,13; 2Chr 7,2; Jes 6,4; Hag 2,7; Hag 2,9; Offb 15,8)35And Moses was not able to enter the tent of meeting because the cloud settled on it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.36Throughout all their journeys, whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the people of Israel would set out. (4Mo 9,17; 4Mo 10,11; Neh 9,19)37But if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not set out till the day that it was taken up. (4Mo 9,19)38For the cloud of the Lord was on the tabernacle by day, and fire was in it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their journeys.
1Then the LORD said to Moses,2‘Set up the holy tent, the tent of meeting. Set it up on the first day of the first month.3Place in it the ark where the tablets of the covenant law are kept. Hide the ark with the curtain.4Bring in the table for the holy bread. Arrange the loaves of bread on it. Then bring in the lampstand. Set up its lamps.5Place the gold altar for burning incense in front of the ark where the tablets of the covenant law are kept. Put up the curtain at the entrance to the holy tent.6‘Place the altar for burnt offerings in front of the entrance to the holy tent, the tent of meeting.7Place the large bowl between the tent of meeting and the altar. Put water in the bowl.8Set up the courtyard around the holy tent. Put the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard.9‘Get the anointing oil. Anoint the holy tent and everything in it. Set apart the holy tent and everything that belongs to it. Then it will be holy.10Anoint the altar for burnt offerings and all its tools. Set apart the altar. Then it will be a very holy place.11Anoint the large bowl and its stand. Set them apart.12‘Bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the tent of meeting. Wash them with water.13Dress Aaron in the sacred clothes. Anoint him and set him apart. Then he will be able to serve me as priest.14Bring his sons and dress them in their inner robes.15Anoint them just as you anointed their father. Then they will be able to serve me as priests. They will be anointed to do the work of priests. That work will last for all time to come.’16Moses did everything just as the LORD had commanded him.17So the holy tent was set up. It was the first day of the first month in the second year.18Moses set up the holy tent. He put the bases in place. He put the frames in them. He put in the crossbars. He set up the posts.19He spread the holy tent over the frames. Then he put the coverings over the tent. Moses did it as the LORD had commanded him.20He got the tablets of the covenant law. He placed them in the ark. He put the poles through its rings. And he put the cover on it. The cover was the place where sin is paid for.21Moses brought the ark into the holy tent. He hung the curtain to hide the ark where the tablets of the covenant law are kept. Moses did it as the LORD had commanded him.22Moses placed the table for the holy bread in the tent of meeting. It was on the north side of the holy tent outside the curtain.23He arranged the loaves of bread on it in the sight of the LORD. Moses did it as the LORD had commanded him.24Moses placed the lampstand in the tent of meeting. It stood opposite the table on the south side of the holy tent.25He set up the lamps in front of the LORD. Moses did it as the LORD had commanded him.26Moses placed the gold altar for burning incense in the tent of meeting. He placed it in front of the curtain.27He burned sweet-smelling incense on it. Moses did it as the LORD had commanded him.28Then Moses put up the curtain at the entrance to the holy tent.29He set the altar for burnt offerings near the entrance to the holy tent, the tent of meeting. He sacrificed burnt offerings and grain offerings on it. Moses did it as the LORD had commanded him.30Moses placed the large bowl between the tent of meeting and the altar. He put water in the bowl for washing.31Moses and Aaron and his sons used it to wash their hands and feet.32They washed whenever they entered the tent of meeting or approached the altar. They did it as the LORD had commanded Moses.33Then Moses set up the courtyard around the holy tent and altar. He put up the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard. And so Moses completed the work.
The glory of the Lord
34Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting. The glory of the LORD filled the holy tent.35Moses couldn’t enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it. The glory of the LORD filled the holy tent.36The Israelites continued their travels. Whenever the cloud lifted from above the holy tent, they started out.37But if the cloud didn’t lift, they did not start out. They stayed until the day it lifted.38So the cloud of the LORD was above the holy tent during the day. Fire was in the cloud at night. All the Israelites could see the cloud during all their travels.
