1 Und aus den [Garnen] von blauem und rotem Purpur und Karmesin machten sie die gewirkten Kleider zum Dienst im Heiligtum und fertigten die heiligen Kleider für Aaron an, so wie der HERR es Mose geboten hatte. (2Mo 28,2) 2 Und man stellte das Ephod aus Gold her und aus [Garnen von] blauem und rotem Purpur und Karmesin und aus gezwirntem Leinen. (2Mo 25,7; 2Mo 28,6; 3Mo 8,7) 3 Die Goldbleche hämmerten sie und schnitten sie zu Fäden, dass man sie kunstvoll hineinwirken konnte in die [Garne] aus blauem und rotem Purpur und Karmesin und aus gezwirntem Leinen. 4 Sie machten auch verbindende Schulterstücke daran, an seinen beiden Enden verbunden. (2Mo 28,7) 5 Und der gewirkte Gürtel, mit dem es angebunden wurde, hing mit ihm zusammen; er war aus dem gleichen Stoff und von derselben Arbeit, aus Gold, aus [Garnen von] blauem und rotem Purpur und Karmesin und gezwirntem Leinen, so wie der HERR es Mose geboten hatte. (2Mo 28,8) 6 Und sie bearbeiteten die Onyxsteine, in Gold gefasst, in Siegelgravur eingraviert, entsprechend den Namen der Söhne Israels; (2Mo 28,9; Hi 28,16) 7 die hefteten sie auf die Schulterstücke des Ephod, dass sie Steine des Gedenkens seien für die Kinder Israels, so wie der HERR es Mose geboten hatte. (2Mo 28,12) 8 Sie fertigten auch das Brustschild in kunstvoller Arbeit an, in der gleichen Arbeit wie das Ephod, aus Gold, aus blauem und rotem Purpur und Karmesin und aus gezwirntem Leinen. (2Mo 28,15; 3Mo 8,8) 9 Und sie machten das Brustschild viereckig und doppelt gelegt, eine Spanne lang und eine Spanne breit. (2Mo 28,16) 10 Und sie besetzten es mit vier Reihen von Steinen: Die erste Reihe war ein Rubin, ein Topas und ein Smaragd; (2Mo 28,17; Offb 21,19) 11 die zweite Reihe ein Granat, ein Saphir und ein Diamant; (2Mo 28,18) 12 die dritte Reihe ein Opal, ein Achat und ein Amethyst; (2Mo 28,19) 13 die vierte Reihe ein Chrysolith, ein Onyx und ein Jaspis; bei ihrer Einsetzung wurden sie in Gold gefasst. (2Mo 28,20) 14 Und diese Steine waren entsprechend den Namen der Söhne Israels zwölf an der Zahl, [einer] für jeden ihrer Namen; in Siegelgravur, ein Stein für jeden Namen der zwölf Stämme. (2Mo 28,21; Offb 21,12) 15 Und sie fertigten für das Brustschild schnurförmige Ketten an, in Flechtwerk, aus reinem Gold, (2Mo 28,14; 2Chr 3,5; Hl 1,10) 16 und sie machten zwei goldene Einfassungen und zwei goldene Ringe und befestigten die beiden Ringe an den beiden Enden des Brustschilds. (2Mo 28,13) 17 Und die beiden geflochtenen Ketten aus Gold machten sie an den beiden Ringen fest, die an den beiden Enden des Brustschilds waren. (2Mo 28,24) 18 Die beiden anderen Enden der geflochtenen Ketten aber befestigten sie an den beiden Einfassungen und hefteten sie auf die beiden Schulterstücke des Ephod, an seiner Vorderseite. (2Mo 28,25) 19 Und sie stellten zwei andere goldene Ringe her und hefteten sie an die beiden anderen Ecken des Brustschilds, nämlich an seinen Saum, der inwendig dem Ephod zugekehrt war. (2Mo 28,26) 20 Und sie stellten zwei weitere goldene Ringe her, die hefteten sie auf die beiden Schulterstücke des Ephod, unten an seine Vorderseite, dort, wo das Ephod miteinander verbunden ist, oberhalb des gewirkten Gürtels des Ephod. (2Mo 28,27) 21 Und sie knüpften das Brustschild mit seinen Ringen mit einer Schnur von blauem Purpur an die Ringe des Ephod, dass es an dem gewirkten Gürtel des Ephod eng anlag und das Brustschild sich nicht von dem Ephod loslöste — so wie der HERR es Mose geboten hatte. (2Mo 28,26) 22 Und er machte das Obergewand des Ephod, ganz aus blauem Purpur gewoben; (2Mo 28,31) 23 und die Öffnung des Obergewandes war in der Mitte, wie die Öffnung eines Panzerhemdes, und ein Saum um die Öffnung, damit es nicht zerriss. (2Mo 28,32) 24 Und sie brachten an seinem unteren Saum Granatäpfel an, aus blauem und rotem Purpur und Karmesin gezwirnt. (2Mo 28,33) 25 Und sie machten Schellen aus reinem Gold; die brachten sie zwischen den Granatäpfeln an ringsum am Saum des Obergewandes, (2Mo 28,33; 4Mo 13,23; 5Mo 8,7; 2Sam 6,5; 2Chr 4,13; Hl 4,3; Hl 4,13; Hl 6,7; Hl 8,2; Jer 52,22; Sach 14,20; 1Kor 13,1) 26 eine Schelle, danach ein Granatapfel, und wieder eine Schelle, danach ein Granatapfel, ringsum am Saum des Obergewandes, zur Verrichtung des Dienstes, so wie der HERR es Mose geboten hatte. (2Mo 39,25) 27 Und sie machten auch die Leibröcke, aus weißem Leinen, in Weberarbeit, für Aaron und seine Söhne, (2Mo 28,39) 28 und den Kopfbund aus Leinen und die hohen Kopfbedeckungen aus Leinen und die Unterkleider aus gezwirntem Leinen; (2Mo 28,4; 2Mo 28,39; 2Mo 28,40) 29 und den Gürtel aus gezwirntem Leinen und aus [Garnen von] blauem und rotem Purpur und Karmesin, in Buntwirkerarbeit, so wie der HERR es Mose geboten hatte. (2Mo 28,39; 2Mo 29,9; 3Mo 8,13) 30 Sie fertigten auch das Stirnblatt, das heilige Diadem, aus reinem Gold an und schrieben darauf in Siegelgravur: »Heilig dem HERRN«. (2Mo 28,36; Sach 14,20) 31 Und sie banden eine Schnur aus blauem Purpur daran, um es oben am Kopfbund zu befestigen, wie der HERR es Mose geboten hatte. (2Mo 28,37) 32 So wurde das ganze Werk der Wohnung, der Stiftshütte, vollendet. Und die Kinder Israels machten alles genau so, wie der HERR es Mose geboten hatte; genau so machten sie es. (2Mo 39,42) 33 Und sie brachten die Wohnung zu Mose, das Zelt und alle seine Geräte, seine Klammern, seine Bretter, seine Riegel und seine Säulen und seine Füße; (2Mo 40,1) 34 die Decke aus rötlichen Widderfellen, die Decke aus Seekuhfellen und den verhüllenden Vorhang; (2Mo 26,14; 2Mo 36,19) 35 die Lade des Zeugnisses mit ihren Tragstangen und den Sühnedeckel; (2Mo 25,16; 2Mo 37,1; Hebr 9,4) 36 den Tisch und alle seine Geräte und die Schaubrote; (2Mo 25,23; 2Mo 37,10; 1Kön 7,48) 37 den reinen Leuchter, seine Lampen, die zubereiteten Lampen und alle seine Geräte und das Öl des Leuchters; (2Mo 25,31; 2Mo 37,17) 38 und den goldenen Altar und das Salböl und das wohlriechende Räucherwerk und den Vorhang für den Eingang der [Stifts-] Hütte; (2Mo 26,36; 2Mo 30,1; 2Mo 30,25; 2Mo 30,34; 2Mo 37,25) 39 den ehernen Altar und sein ehernes Gitter mit seinen Tragstangen und allen seinen Geräten, das Becken samt seinem Gestell; (2Mo 27,1; 2Mo 38,1; 2Mo 38,8; 1Kön 8,60) 40 die Behänge des Vorhofs mit seinen Säulen und Füßen, den Vorhang am Eingang des Vorhofs mit seinen Seilen und Pflöcken, und alle Geräte für den Dienst der Wohnung, der Stiftshütte; (2Mo 27,9; 2Mo 38,9) 41 die Dienstkleider zum Dienst im Heiligtum, die heiligen Kleider des Priesters Aaron und die Kleider seiner Söhne, für den priesterlichen Dienst; (2Mo 28,2; 2Mo 31,10; 2Mo 39,1) 42 ganz so, wie der HERR es Mose geboten hatte, so hatten die Kinder Israels das ganze Werk vollbracht. (2Mo 25,8; 2Mo 25,40; 2Mo 26,30; 2Mo 27,8; 2Mo 39,32; 4Mo 8,4; Apg 7,44) 43 Und Mose sah sich das ganze Werk an, und siehe, sie hatten es ausgeführt, wie der HERR es geboten hatte; so hatten sie es ausgeführt. 1 Die Kunsthandwerker fertigten aus violettem, purpur- und karmesinfarbenem Garn die heiligen Gewänder an, die Aaron bei seinem Dienst im Heiligtum tragen sollte. Sie stellten sie so her, wie der HERR es Mose gegenüber angeordnet hatte. (2Mo 35,23) 2 Der Priesterschurz wurde aus Gold, violettem, purpur- und karmesinfarbenem Garn und feinem Leinen angefertigt. (2Mo 28,1) 3 Den goldenen Faden stellte ein fähiger Kunsthandwerker her, indem er Gold zu dünnen Blättern hämmerte und diese dann in feine Streifen schnitt. Diese verwob er mit dem violetten, purpur- und karmesinfarbenen Garn und dem Leinen. 4 Die Kunsthandwerker fertigten zwei Schulterstücke an, mithilfe derer das Vorder- und das Rückenteil zusammengefügt wurden. 5 Der Gürtel, mit dem der Schurz zusammengehalten wurde, und der Schurz selbst wurden aus einem Stück gewebt. Dazu wurden die gleichen Materialien verwendet, nämlich Goldfaden, violettes, purpur- und karmesinfarbenes Garn und feines Leinen, so wie der HERR es Mose befohlen hatte. 6 Die beiden Onyx-Steine an den Schulterstücken des Priesterschurzes wurden mit Gold eingefasst. In die Steine wurden die Namen der Stämme Israels nach Art und Weise der Siegelstecher eingraviert. 7 Diese Steine sollten den HERRN an die Israeliten erinnern. Sie wurden auf den Schulterstücken des Priesterschurzes befestigt, so wie der HERR es Mose befohlen hatte. 8 Die Brusttasche wurde im gleichen Stil wie der Priesterschurz angefertigt: gewoben aus feinem Leinen und Goldfaden sowie violettem, purpur- und karmesinfarbenem Garn. (2Mo 28,1) 9 Der Stoff wurde zu diesem Zweck doppelt gelegt, eine Spanne lang und eine Spanne breit[1]. 10 Dann wurde sie mit vier Reihen Edelsteinen[2] besetzt. Die erste Reihe bestand aus einem Karneol, einem Topas und einem Smaragd, 11 die zweite Reihe aus einem Rubin, einem Saphir und einem Diamanten, 12 die dritte Reihe aus einem Hyazinth, einem Achat und einem Amethyst, 13 die vierte Reihe aus einem Chrysolith, einem Onyx und einem Jaspis. Alle diese Steine waren mit Gold eingefasst. 14 Auf jedem der Steine war mithilfe von Siegelstecherkunst je ein Name der zwölf Stämme Israels eingraviert. (Offb 21,12) 15 Die Kunsthandwerker befestigten gedrehte Ketten aus reinem Gold an der Brusttasche. 16 Anschließend fertigten sie zwei goldene Einfassungen und zwei goldene Ringe an. Die Ringe brachten sie an den oberen Ecken der Brusttasche an; 17 die beiden goldenen Bänder befestigten sie dann an den goldenen Ringen an der Brusttasche. 18 Die anderen Enden der Bänder befestigten sie an den beiden goldenen Einfassungen, die sie wiederum an der Vorderseite der Schulterstücke des Priesterschurzes festmachten. 19 Dann fertigten sie noch zwei goldene Ringe an, die sie an den beiden unteren Ecken der Brusttasche anbrachten, und zwar auf der Innenseite, die dem Priesterschurz zugewandt ist. 20 Daraufhin stellten sie noch zwei weitere goldene Ringe her. Sie brachten sie unten an den beiden Schulterstücken des Priesterschurzes an, vorne dicht über dem Gürtel, der den Priesterschurz zusammenhält. 21 Mithilfe violetter Purpurschnüre befestigten sie die Brusttasche mit ihren Ringen an den Ringen des Priesterschurzes, sodass diese über dem Gürtel saß und nicht verrutschen konnte. Alles wurde genauso ausgeführt, wie der HERR es Mose gegenüber angeordnet hatte. 22 Das Obergewand zum Priesterschurz webten sie aus violettem Garn, (2Mo 28,1) 23 mit einer Öffnung für den Kopf in der Mitte. Den Saum dieser Öffnung verstärkten sie, um das Einreißen zu verhindern – ähnlich wie bei einem Panzerhemd. 24 Am unteren Saum des Gewandes brachten sie Granatäpfel aus violettem, purpur- und karmesinfarbenem Garn an. 25 Dann fertigten sie Glöckchen aus reinem Gold an und befestigten diese zwischen den Granatäpfeln, 26 sodass sich immer ein Glöckchen und ein Granatapfel abwechselten – rings um den ganzen unteren Saum. Dieses Gewand sollte Aaron tragen, wenn er seinen Dienst versah, so wie der HERR es Mose befohlen hatte. 27 Schließlich wurden noch die Untergewänder aus feinem Leinen für Aaron und seine Söhne gewebt. (2Mo 28,39) 28 Der Turban, die Kopfbedeckungen und die Beinkleider bestanden ebenfalls aus feinem Leinen. 29 Der Gürtel war aus feinem Leinen mit kunstvollen Mustern aus violettem, purpur- und karmesinfarbenem Garn gewebt, so wie der HERR es Mose befohlen hatte. 30 Zuletzt fertigten sie das heilige Stirnblatt aus reinem Gold an und gravierten darauf mithilfe der Siegelstecherkunst die folgenden Worte ein: »Dem HERRN geweiht«. (2Mo 28,36) 31 Dieses Stirnblatt befestigten sie mit einer violetten Schnur oben am Turban, so wie der HERR es Mose befohlen hatte. 32 Und so wurde das Zelt Gottes schließlich fertig gestellt. Die Israeliten hatten alle Arbeiten genauso ausgeführt, wie der HERR es Mose befohlen hatte. (2Mo 35,1) 33 Sie brachten alles zu Mose: das Zelt mit allem, was dazu gehörte, die Haken, Bretter, Riegel, Säulen und Sockel, 34 die Zeltdecken aus rot gefärbten Widderfellen und Tachasch-Haut[3], den Vorhang vor dem Allerheiligsten, 35 die Bundeslade mit ihren Tragstangen und der Deckplatte, 36 den Tisch mit all seinen Geräten und den Schaubroten[4], 37 den goldenen Leuchter mit seinen Lampen, seinem ganzen Zubehör und dem Öl, 38 den goldenen Altar, das Salböl, das wohlriechende Weihrauchgemisch, den Vorhang für den Zelteingang, 39 den bronzenen Altar mit dem bronzenen Gitter, seinen Tragstangen und allen seinen Geräten, das Wasserbecken mit seinem Untergestell, 40 die Vorhänge des Vorhofs mit den Säulen und Sockeln, den Vorhang für den Eingang des Vorhofs, die Seile und Zeltpflöcke, all die Geräte, die für den Dienst im Zelt Gottes benötigt wurden, 41 die heiligen Gewänder, mit denen der Hohe Priester Aaron seinen Dienst im Heiligtum versah, sowie die Gewänder seiner Söhne für ihren Priesterdienst. 42 Die Israeliten hatten alle Arbeiten genauso ausgeführt, wie der HERR es Mose befohlen hatte. 43 Nachdem Mose ihr Werk begutachtet hatte, segnete er sie, weil sie alles gemäß den Anweisungen des HERRN ausgeführt hatten. (3Mo 9,22; 4Mo 6,23; 1Kön 8,14; 2Chr 30,27)

1 From the blue and purple and scarlet yarns they made finely woven garments,[1] for ministering in the Holy Place. They made the holy garments for Aaron, as the Lord had commanded Moses. (2Mo 28,2; 2Mo 31,10; 2Mo 35,19; 2Mo 35,23; 2Mo 35,25; 2Mo 39,41) 2 He made the ephod of gold, blue and purple and scarlet yarns, and fine twined linen. (2Mo 28,6) 3 And they hammered out gold leaf, and he cut it into threads to work into the blue and purple and the scarlet yarns, and into the fine twined linen, in skilled design. 4 They made for the ephod attaching shoulder pieces, joined to it at its two edges. 5 And the skillfully woven band on it was of one piece with it and made like it, of gold, blue and purple and scarlet yarns, and fine twined linen, as the Lord had commanded Moses. 6 They made the onyx stones, enclosed in settings of gold filigree, and engraved like the engravings of a signet, according to the names of the sons of Israel. 7 And he set them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod to be stones of remembrance for the sons of Israel, as the Lord had commanded Moses. 8 He made the breastpiece, in skilled work, in the style of the ephod, of gold, blue and purple and scarlet yarns, and fine twined linen. (2Mo 28,15) 9 It was square. They made the breastpiece doubled, a span[2] its length and a span its breadth when doubled. 10 And they set in it four rows of stones. A row of sardius, topaz, and carbuncle was the first row; 11 and the second row, an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond; 12 and the third row, a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst; 13 and the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper. They were enclosed in settings of gold filigree. 14 There were twelve stones with their names according to the names of the sons of Israel. They were like signets, each engraved with its name, for the twelve tribes. 15 And they made on the breastpiece twisted chains like cords, of pure gold. 16 And they made two settings of gold filigree and two gold rings, and put the two rings on the two edges of the breastpiece. 17 And they put the two cords of gold in the two rings at the edges of the breastpiece. 18 They attached the two ends of the two cords to the two settings of filigree. Thus they attached it in front to the shoulder pieces of the ephod. 19 Then they made two rings of gold, and put them at the two ends of the breastpiece, on its inside edge next to the ephod. 20 And they made two rings of gold, and attached them in front to the lower part of the two shoulder pieces of the ephod, at its seam above the skillfully woven band of the ephod. 21 And they bound the breastpiece by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, so that it should lie on the skillfully woven band of the ephod, and that the breastpiece should not come loose from the ephod, as the Lord had commanded Moses. 22 He also made the robe of the ephod woven all of blue, (2Mo 28,31) 23 and the opening of the robe in it was like the opening in a garment, with a binding around the opening, so that it might not tear. 24 On the hem of the robe they made pomegranates of blue and purple and scarlet yarns and fine twined linen. 25 They also made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates all around the hem of the robe, between the pomegranates— 26 a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate around the hem of the robe for ministering, as the Lord had commanded Moses. 27 They also made the coats, woven of fine linen, for Aaron and his sons, (2Mo 28,39; 2Mo 28,42; Hes 44,18) 28 and the turban of fine linen, and the caps of fine linen, and the linen undergarments of fine twined linen, (2Mo 39,27) 29 and the sash of fine twined linen and of blue and purple and scarlet yarns, embroidered with needlework, as the Lord had commanded Moses. 30 They made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote on it an inscription, like the engraving of a signet, “Holy to the Lord.” (2Mo 28,36; 2Mo 29,6) 31 And they tied to it a cord of blue to fasten it on the turban above, as the Lord had commanded Moses. 32 Thus all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting was finished, and the people of Israel did according to all that the Lord had commanded Moses; so they did. (2Mo 25,40; 2Mo 39,42) 33 Then they brought the tabernacle to Moses, the tent and all its utensils, its hooks, its frames, its bars, its pillars, and its bases; 34 the covering of tanned rams’ skins and goatskins, and the veil of the screen; (2Mo 35,12) 35 the ark of the testimony with its poles and the mercy seat; 36 the table with all its utensils, and the bread of the Presence; 37 the lampstand of pure gold and its lamps with the lamps set and all its utensils, and the oil for the light; (2Mo 25,31) 38 the golden altar, the anointing oil and the fragrant incense, and the screen for the entrance of the tent; (2Mo 26,36; 2Mo 30,3; 2Mo 36,37; 2Mo 37,26; 2Mo 40,5; 2Mo 40,26) 39 the bronze altar, and its grating of bronze, its poles, and all its utensils; the basin and its stand; 40 the hangings of the court, its pillars, and its bases, and the screen for the gate of the court, its cords, and its pegs; and all the utensils for the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of meeting; (2Mo 27,9; 2Mo 27,16; 2Mo 35,18; 2Mo 38,9; 2Mo 38,18) 41 the finely worked garments for ministering in the Holy Place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons for their service as priests. 42 According to all that the Lord had commanded Moses, so the people of Israel had done all the work. (2Mo 35,10) 43 And Moses saw all the work, and behold, they had done it; as the Lord had commanded, so had they done it. Then Moses blessed them. 1 The workers made clothes from the blue, purple and bright red yarn. The clothes were worn by the priests who served in the holy tent. The workers also made sacred clothes for Aaron. They made them just as the LORD had commanded Moses. 2 The workers made the linen apron. They made it out of thin gold wire, and of blue, purple and bright red yarn, and of finely twisted linen. 3 They hammered out thin sheets of gold. They cut it into thin wire. Then they sewed it into the blue, purple and bright red yarn and fine linen. Skilled workers made it. 4 The workers made shoulder straps for the apron. The straps were joined to two of its corners. 5 Its skilfully made waistband was made like the apron. The waistband was part of the apron itself. It was made out of thin gold wire, and out of blue, purple and bright red yarn, and out of finely twisted linen. The workers made it just as the LORD had commanded Moses. 6 They put the onyx stones in fancy gold settings. They carved the names of the sons of Israel on the stones. They did it the way a jewel cutter would carve them. 7 Then they connected them to the shoulder straps of the linen apron. The stones stood for the sons of Israel and were a constant reminder for them. The workers did those things just as the LORD had commanded Moses. 8 Skilled workers made the chest cloth. They made it like the linen apron. They used thin gold wire, and blue, purple and bright red yarn, and finely twisted linen. 9 The chest cloth was 25 centimetres square. It was folded in half. 10 The workers put four rows of valuable jewels on it. Carnelian, chrysolite and beryl were in the first row. 11 Turquoise, lapis lazuli and emerald were in the second row. 12 Jacinth, agate and amethyst were in the third row. 13 And topaz, onyx and jasper were in the fourth row. The workers put them in fancy gold settings. 14 They used a total of 12 stones. There was one stone for each of the names of the sons of Israel. Each stone was carved with the name of one of the 12 tribes. 15 The workers made braided chains out of pure gold for the chest cloth. They made them like ropes. 16 They made two fancy gold settings and two gold rings. They connected them to two corners of the chest cloth. 17 They joined the two gold chains to the rings at the corners of the chest cloth. 18 They joined the other ends of the chains to the two settings. They joined them to the shoulder straps on the front of the linen apron. 19 The workers made two gold rings. They connected them to the other two corners of the chest cloth. They put them on the inside edge next to the apron. 20 Then they made two more gold rings. They connected them to the bottom of the shoulder straps on the front of the apron. They put them close to the seam. They put them right above the waistband of the apron. 21 They tied the rings of the chest cloth to the rings of the apron with blue cord. That connected it to the waistband. Then the chest cloth would not swing out from the linen apron. The workers did those things just as the LORD had commanded Moses. 22 The workers made the outer robe of the linen apron completely out of blue cloth. The cloth was made by a skilful person. 23 The workers made an opening in the centre of the robe. They made an edge like a collar around the opening. Then it couldn’t tear. 24 They made pomegranates out of blue, purple and bright red yarn and finely twisted linen. They sewed them around the hem of the robe. 25 They made bells out of pure gold. They sewed them around the hem between the pomegranates. 26 They sewed a bell between every two pomegranates all around the hem of the robe. Aaron had to wear the robe when he served as priest. That’s what the LORD commanded Moses. 27 The workers made inner robes out of fine linen for Aaron and his sons. The linen cloth was made by a skilful person. 28 The workers also made the turban out of fine linen. And they made the caps and the underwear out of finely twisted linen. 29 The belt was made out of finely twisted linen and blue, purple and bright red yarn. A person who sewed skilfully made it. The workers did those things just as the LORD had commanded Moses. 30 They made the plate out of pure gold. It was a sacred crown. On the plate, they carved the words Set apart for the LORD. 31 Then they tied the plate to the turban with a blue cord. They did those things just as the LORD had commanded Moses. 32 So all the work on the holy tent, the tent of meeting, was completed. The Israelites did everything just as the LORD had commanded Moses. 33 Then they brought the holy tent to Moses along with everything that belonged to it. Here are the things they brought. hooks, frames, crossbars, posts and bases 34 the covering of ram skins dyed red, the covering of another kind of strong leather and the curtain that hides the ark 35 the ark where the tablets of the covenant law are kept, the poles and the cover for the ark 36 the table for the holy bread with all its things and the holy bread 37 the pure gold lampstand with its row of lamps and everything used with it, and the olive oil that gives light 38 the gold altar for burning incense, the anointing oil and the sweet-smelling incense the curtain for the entrance to the tent 39 the bronze altar for burnt offerings with its bronze grate, its poles and all its tools the large bowl with its stand 40 the curtains of the courtyard with their posts and bases, and the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard the ropes and tent stakes for the courtyard everything that belongs to the holy tent, the tent of meeting 41 and the sacred clothes for Aaron the priest and the clothes for his sons when they serve as priests 42 The Israelites had done all the work just as the LORD had commanded Moses. 43 Moses looked over the work carefully. He saw that the workers had done it just as the LORD had commanded. So Moses gave them his blessing.
