Wenn der Assyrer in unser Land kommt und unsere Paläste betritt, so werden wir sieben Hirten, ja acht Menschenfürsten gegen ihn aufstellen; (Jes 8,7; Sach 2,7; Sach 9,10; Eph 2,14)5die werden das Land Assyrien mit dem Schwert abweiden und das Land Nimrod in seinen Toren; und so wird er uns von dem Assyrer erretten, wenn dieser in unser Land kommt und unser Gebiet betritt. (1Mo 10,8; Sach 10,11; Lk 1,71)6Und der Überrest Jakobs wird inmitten vieler Völker sein wie ein Tau vom HERRN, wie Regenschauer auf das Gras, das auf niemand wartet und nicht auf Menschenkinder hofft. (5Mo 32,2; 2Sam 17,12; Ps 110,3; Spr 19,12; Jes 6,13; Jer 14,22)7Und der Überrest Jakobs wird unter den Nationen inmitten vieler Völker sein wie ein Löwe unter den Tieren des Waldes, wie ein junger Löwe unter den Schafherden, der, wenn er hindurchgeht, niedertritt und zerreißt, sodass niemand retten kann. (Ps 149,6)8Deine Hand wird siegen über deine Widersacher, und alle deine Feinde sollen ausgerottet werden! (Ps 2,9; Jes 60,12)9An jenem Tag soll es geschehen, spricht der HERR, dass ich deine Pferde aus deiner Mitte ausrotten und deine Wagen abschaffen werde; (5Mo 17,16; Ps 20,8; Sach 9,10)10und ich will die Städte deines Landes ausrotten und alle deine Festungen niederreißen. (Hes 38,11; Sach 2,4)11Ich will auch die Zaubermittel aus deiner Hand ausrotten, und du sollst keine Zeichendeuter mehr haben. (Jes 2,6)12Auch deine Bilder und deine Bildsäulen will ich aus deiner Mitte vertilgen, dass du das Werk deiner Hände nicht mehr anbeten sollst. (Jes 2,8; Jes 2,20; Hes 36,25; Sach 13,2)13Dazu will ich die Aschera-Standbilder in deiner Mitte vertilgen und deine Städte verwüsten. (2Mo 34,13; Jes 17,8)14Und ich werde mit Zorn und Grimm Rache üben an den Heidenvölkern, die nicht hören wollten. (Ps 94,1; Ps 149,7; Lk 21,22)

A Remnant Shall Be Delivered
7Then the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many peoples like dew from the Lord, like showers on the grass, which delay not for a man nor wait for the children of man.
