1 Der HERR ist König! Es jauchze die Erde! Es sollen sich freuen die vielen Inseln! (Ps 93,1; Ps 96,11; Jes 60,9) 2 Gewölk und Dunkel sind um ihn her. Gerechtigkeit und Recht sind die Grundfeste seines Thrones. (1Kön 8,10; Ps 89,15) 3 Feuer geht vor ihm her und verzehrt seine Bedränger ringsum. (Ps 18,9; 2Thess 1,8) 4 Seine Blitze erleuchten die Welt. Die Erde sah es und bebte. (Hi 37,3; Ps 77,19) 5 Die Berge zerschmolzen wie Wachs vor dem HERRN, vor dem Herrn der ganzen Erde. 6 Der Himmel verkündete seine Gerechtigkeit, und alle Völker sahen seine Herrlichkeit. (Ps 50,6; Jes 40,5) 7 Schämen müssen sich alle Verehrer eines Götterbildes, die sich der Götzen^[1] rühmen. Fallt vor ihm nieder, alle Götter! (1Sam 5,3; Jes 42,7; Jes 44,9; Jes 45,16; Hebr 1,6)

8 Zion hörte es und freute sich, und es jauchzten die Töchter Judas wegen deiner Gerichte, HERR. (Ps 48,12) 9 Denn du, HERR, bist der Höchste über die ganze Erde. Du bist sehr erhaben über alle Götter. (2Mo 18,11; Ps 83,19; Ps 92,9; Ps 95,3; Ps 136,2)
