1 Ein Psalm. Singt dem HERRN ein neues Lied, denn er hat Wunder getan! Ihm half^[1] seine Rechte und sein heiliger Arm. (2Mo 15,6; Ps 33,3; Ps 72,18; Ps 89,14)

2 Der HERR hat kundgetan sein Heil^[2], vor den Augen der Nationen offenbart seine Gerechtigkeit. (Jes 52,7; Lk 3,6; Röm 3,21; Offb 15,4)

3 Er hat seiner Gnade und seiner Treue für das Haus Israel gedacht. Alle Enden der Erde haben das Heil^[3] unseres Gottes gesehen. (Jes 52,7; Lk 1,54; Lk 3,6; Röm 15,8)

4 Jauchzt dem HERRN, alle Welt! Seid fröhlich und jauchzt und spielt! (Ps 66,1; Ps 95,2) 5 Singt dem HERRN zur Zither, mit der Zither und der Stimme des Gesangs! (Ps 71,22; Ps 147,7) 6 Mit Trompeten und dem Schall des Horns jauchzt vor dem König, dem HERRN! 7 Es brause das Meer und seine Fülle, die Welt und die darauf wohnen! (Ps 96,11) 8 Die Ströme sollen in die Hände klatschen, alle Berge zusammen sollen jubeln (Ps 65,13; Ps 89,13) 9 vor dem HERRN! Denn er kommt, die Erde zu richten. Er wird die Welt richten in Gerechtigkeit und die Völker in Geradheit. (Ps 9,9; Ps 96,13)

Make a Joyful Noise to the Lord

1 A Psalm. Oh sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him. (2Mo 15,6; Hi 40,14; Ps 33,3; Ps 72,18; Ps 96,3; Lk 1,51)

2 The Lord has made known his salvation; he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations. (Ps 96,2; Jes 49,6; Jes 52,10; Jes 59,16; Jes 62,2; Jes 63,5; Lk 2,30; Röm 3,25)

3 He has remembered his steadfast love and faithfulness to the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. (Ps 22,27; Ps 36,5; Ps 98,2; Lk 1,54; Lk 1,72)

4 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises! (Ps 66,1; Jes 44,23) 5 Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre, with the lyre and the sound of melody! 7 Let the sea roar, and all that fills it; the world and those who dwell in it! (Ps 24,1; Ps 96,11) 8 Let the rivers clap their hands; let the hills sing for joy together (Ps 89,12; Ps 93,3; Jes 55,12) 9 before the Lord, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity. (Ps 58,11; Ps 96,13)
