1 Kommt doch mal bitte mit, eben, wir wollen Gott jetzt fetten Applaus geben. Machen für ihn eine riesige Feier, schließlich ist er unser Befreier. 2 Werden dankbar tanzen und hüpfen und steppen und ihm natürlich die VOLXBIBEL -Psalmen vorrappen. 3 Egal, ob hier oder dort, einfach an jedem Ort ist der Chef ein gigantischer Gott. Echt, check’s. Er ist nämlich cheffer als alle anderen Chefs. 4 Täler und Berge gehören Gott, macht ihn nicht schmäler. Ja, er alleine ist einfach der Herr. 5 Auch über das Festland und über das Meer. Denn mit eigenen Händen stellte er alles her. 6 Los, beten wir zu ihm, auf unseren Knien. Vor ihm verbeugen ist jetzt voll angebracht. Weil er der Macher ist, hat uns erdacht und gemacht. 7 Gott ist Chef von uns allen, wir seine Angestellten. Und als Chef lässt er uns nicht fallen, nicht mal selten. Gott als Chef zu haben ist optimal, genial, eben einfach wunderbar, denn bei ihm sind wir hundertprozentig unkündbar. 8 Hört jetzt bitte hin, was Gott zu euch spricht: „Macht eure Schotten ausnahmsweise mal nicht dicht. Wie es eure Vorfahren früher gerne machten, als sie in der Wüste immer nur maulten und Vorwürfe gegen mich brachten. 9 Fast jeden Tag forderten sie mich heraus aufs Neue. Fast jeden Tag erlebten sie neu meine Treue mit Worten und Taten. 10 Vierzig Jahre war ich auf sie sauer und musste dann sagen: Alles, was sie machen und wonach sie streben, ist vollkommen verkehrt und total daneben. Als sie meine Wege dann ganz aus den Augen verloren, 11 hab ich in meinem Zorn mir selber geschworen, die Ruhe, die ich selbst nur habe für sie, kriegen sie niemals. Nein, wirklich nie!“

1 Oh come, let us sing to the LORD; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! (Ps 66,1; Ps 89,26; Ps 94,22) 2 Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! (Ps 1,1; Mi 6,6) 3 For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. (2Chr 2,5; Ps 86,8; Ps 93,4; Ps 96,4; Ps 97,9; Ps 135,5) 4 In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. 5 The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. (1Mo 1,9; 1Mo 1,10; Jon 1,9) 6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker!
