1 In the LORD I take refuge; how can you say to my soul, Flee like a bird to your mountain, (1 Sa 23:14; 1 Sa 23:19; 1 Sa 24:2; 1 Sa 26:19; 1 Sa 26:20) 2 for behold, the wicked bend the bow; they have fitted their arrow to the string to shoot in the dark at the upright in heart; (Mez 7:10; Mez 7:12; Mez 21:12; Mez 58:7; Mez 64:4; Yer 9:3) 3 if the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?[1] (Mez 82:5; Hez 30:4) 4 The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD’s throne is in heaven; his eyes see, his eyelids test the children of man.
