Gott über alles lieben

1 Das ist das Gesetz mit seinen Vorschriften und Bestimmungen, in denen ich euch unterweisen soll. So hat es Jahwe, euer Gott, mir befohlen. Denn ihr müsst danach handeln, wenn ihr das Land in Besitz genommen habt, in das ihr jetzt hinüberzieht. 

2 Du sollst Jahwe, deinen Gott, dein Leben lang fürchten und alle seine Vorschriften und Bestimmungen halten. Ich befehle sie dir, deinen Kindern und Enkeln auch deshalb an, damit du ein langes Leben hast. 

3 Hör gut zu, Israel, richte dich danach und handle entsprechend! Dann wird es dir gut gehen, und ihr werdet überaus zahlreich werden in einem Land, das von Milch und Honig überfließt. So hat es Jahwe, der Gott deiner Vorfahren, dir versprochen. 

4 Höre Israel: Jahwe ist unser Gott, Jahwe allein! 

5 Und du sollst Jahwe, deinen Gott, von ganzem Herzen lieben, mit ganzer Seele und mit deiner ganzen Kraft. (Mk 12,29) 

6 Und die Worte, die ich dir heute verkünde, sollen in deinem Herzen sein. 

7 Präge sie deinen Kindern ein und rede davon, ob du in deinem Haus bist oder unterwegs, ob du dich hinlegst oder aufstehst. 

8 Du sollst sie als Zeichen auf deine Hand binden und als Merkzeichen auf deiner Stirn tragen. 

9 Du sollst sie auf die Türpfosten deines Hauses schreiben und an deine Tore. 

10 Jahwe, dein Gott, bringt dich jetzt in das Land, wie er es deinen Vorfahren Abraham, Isaak und Jakob geschworen hat. Es sind große und schöne Städte, die du nicht gebaut hast, 

11 Häuser voller Güter, die du nicht erworben hast, Zisternen, die du nicht ausgehauen hast, Weinberge und Olivenhaine, die du nicht angelegt hast. Wenn du dann davon isst und satt wirst, 

12 dann hüte dich, Jahwe, deinen Gott, zu vergessen, der dich aus Ägypten, dem Sklavenhaus, geführt hat. 

13 Jahwe, deinen Gott, sollst du fürchten, ihm sollst du dienen und bei seinem Namen sollst du schwören. (Mt 4,10; Lk 4,8) 

14 Lauft nicht hinter den Göttern her, die die Völker um euch herum verehren, 

15 denn Jahwe, der Gott in deiner Mitte, ist ein eifersüchtiger Gott. Sein Zorn könnte gegen dich auflodern. Dann würde er dich vom Erdboden weg vernichten. 

16 Stellt Jahwe, euren Gott, nicht auf die Probe, wie ihr es in Massa getan habt. (2Mo 17,1; Mt 4,7; Lk 4,12) 

17 Die Gebote, die Jahwe, euer Gott, euch gegeben hat, sollt ihr unbedingt halten, und zwar alle Gesetze und Vorschriften. 

18 Du sollst das tun, was recht und gut vor Jahwe ist. Dann wird es dir gut gehen und du wirst das gute Land in Besitz nehmen, das Jahwe deinen Vorfahren unter Eid versprochen hat. 

19 Du wirst alle deine Feinde vertreiben, so wie Jahwe es gesagt hat. 

20 Wenn dich morgen dein Sohn fragt: „Was sind das für Gesetze, Vorschriften und Rechte, die Jahwe, unser Gott, euch geboten hat?“, 

21 dann sollst du deinem Sohn sagen: „Sklaven waren wir, Sklaven des Pharao in Ägypten. Doch Jahwe hat uns mit starker Hand aus Ägypten herausgeführt. 

22 Er hat vor unseren Augen gewaltige Zeichen und Wunder getan und Unheil über die Ägypter gebracht, den Pharao und seine ganze Familie. 

23 Uns hat er von dort herausgeführt, um uns das Land zu geben, wie er es unseren Vorfahren geschworen hat. 

24 Jahwe befahl uns, all diese Vorschriften zu halten und ihn, unseren Gott, zu fürchten, damit es uns immer gut geht und er uns am Leben erhält, wie es heute der Fall ist. 

25 Wenn wir darauf achten, dieses ganze Gesetz vor Jahwe, unserem Gott, zu befolgen, wird das unsere Gerechtigkeit sein.“

1 وَهَذِهِ هِيَ الْوَصَايَا وَالْفَرَائِضُ وَالأَحْكَامُ الَّتِي أَمَرَنِي الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ أَنْ أُلَقِّنَكُمْ إِيَّاهَا، لِتَعْمَلُوا بِها فِي الأَرْضِ الَّتِي أَنْتُمْ مَاضُونَ إِلَيْهَا لِتَرِثُوهَا. 

2 وَبِذَلِكَ تَتَّقِي الرَّبَّ إِلَهَكَ وَتُمَارِسُ جَمِيعَ فَرَائِضِهِ وَوَصَايَاهُ الَّتِي أَنَا أُوصِيكَ بِها أَنْتَ وَابْنُكَ وَحَفِيدُكَ كُلَّ أَيَّامِ حَيَاتِكَ فَتَطُولُ أَيَّامُكَ. 

3 فَأَنْصِتُوا يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَاحْرِصُوا عَلَى الْعَمَلِ بِها فَتَزْدَهِرُوا وَتَتَكَاثَرُوا جِدّاً فِي أَرْضٍ تَفِيضُ لَبَناً وَعَسَلاً، كَمَا وَعَدَكُمُ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُ آبَائِكُمْ. 

4 اسْمَعُوا يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ: الرَّبُّ إِلَهُنَا رَبٌّ وَاحِدٌ، 

5 فَأَحِبُّوا الرَّبَّ إِلَهَكُمْ مِنْ كُلِّ قُلُوبِكُمْ وَنُفُوسِكُمْ وَقوَّتِكُمْ. 

6 وَضَعُوا هَذِهِ الْكَلِمَاتِ الَّتِي أُوصِيكُمْ بِها عَلَى قُلُوبِكُمْ، 

7 وَقُصُّوهَا عَلَى أَوْلادِكُمْ، وَتَحَدَّثُوا بِها حِينَ تَجْلِسُونَ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ، وَحِينَ تَسِيرُونَ فِي الطَّرِيقِ، وَحِينَ تَنَامُونَ، وَحِينَ تَنْهَضُونَ. 

8 ارْبُطُوهَا عَلامَةً عَلَى أَيْدِيكُمْ، وَاجْعَلُوهَا عَصَائِبَ عَلَى جِبَاهِكُمْ. 

9 اكْتُبُوهَا عَلَى قَوَائِمِ أَبْوَابِ بُيُوتِكُمْ وَبَوَّابَاتِ مُدُنِكُمْ. 

10 وَمَتَى أَدْخَلَكُمُ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ إِلَى الأَرْضِ الَّتِي أَقْسَمَ لِآبَائِكُمْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ أَنْ يَهَبَهَا لَكُمْ، حَيْثُ تَنْتَشِرُ مُدُنٌ عَظِيمَةٌ لَمْ تَبْنُوهَا، 

11 وَبُيُوتٌ عَامِرَةٌ بِخَيْرَاتٍ لَمْ تَخْزِنُوهَا، وَآبَارٌ مَحْفُورَةٌ لَمْ تَحْفُرُوهَا، وَأَشْجَارُ كُرُومٍ وَزَيْتُونٍ لَمْ تَغْرِسُوهَا، فَأَكَلْتُمْ وَشَبِعْتُمْ، 

12 فَإِيَّاكُمْ أَنْ تَنْسَوْا الرَّبَّ إِلَهَكُمُ الَّذِي أَطْلَقَكُمْ مِنْ عُبُودِيَّةِ دِيَارِ مِصْرَ. 

13 فَالرَّبَّ إِلَهَكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ، وَإِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ، وَبِاسْمِهِ تَحْلِفُونَ. 

14 لَا تَسِيرُوا خَلْفَ آلِهَةٍ أُخْرَى مِنْ آلِهَةِ الأُمَمِ الْمُحِيطَةِ بِكُمْ، 

15 لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ إِلَهَكُمْ إِلَهٌ غَيُورٌ حَالٌّ فِي وَسَطِكُمْ، فَيَحْتَدِمَ غَضَبُهُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَيُبِيدَكُمْ عَنْ وَجْهِ الأَرْضِ. 

16 لَا تَمْتَحِنُوا صَبْرَ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ، كَمَا امْتَحَنْتُمُوهُ فِي مَسَّةَ. 

17 بَلِ احْفَظُوا وَصَايَا الرَّبِّ وَشُرُوطَهُ وَأَحْكَامَهُ الَّتِي أَمَرَكُمْ بِها، 

18 وَاصْنَعُوا مَا هُوَ صَالِحٌ وَمَرْضِيٌّ لَدَى الرَّبِّ لِتَزْدَهِرُوا وَتَدْخُلُوا وَتَرِثُوا الأَرْضَ الَّتِي أَقْسَمَ الرَّبُّ لِآبَائِكُمْ، 

19 أَنْ يَطْرُدَ جَمِيعَ أَعْدَائِكُمْ مِنْ أَمَامِكُمْ. 

20 وَإذَا سَأَلَكُمْ أَبْنَاؤُكُمْ فِي مُسْتَقْبَلِ الأَيَّامِ: مَا هِيَ الشُّرُوطُ وَالْفَرَائِضُ وَالأَحْكَامُ الَّتِي أَمَرَكُمْ بِها الرَّبُّ إِلَهُنَا؟ 

21 تُجِيبُونَهُمْ: لَقَدْ كُنَّا عَبِيداً لِفِرْعَوْنَ فِي مِصْرَ، فَأَخْرَجَنَا الرَّبُّ بِقُوَّةٍ فَائِقَةٍ، 

22 وَأَجْرَى الرَّبُّ آيَاتٍ وَعَجَائِبَ عَظِيمَةً وَمُهْلِكَةً بِمِصْرَ عَلَى فِرْعَوْنَ وَجَمِيعِ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ عَلَى مَرْأَى مِنَّا. 

23 ثُمَّ أَخْرَجَنَا مِنْ هُنَاكَ لِيَأْتِيَ بِنَا وَيُوَرِّثَنَا الأَرْضَ الَّتِي أَقْسَمَ لِآبَائِنَا أَنْ يَهَبَهَا لَنَا. 

24 فَأَمَرَنَا الرَّبُّ أَنْ نُمَارِسَ جَمِيعَ هَذِهِ الْفَرَائِضِ وَنَتَّقِيَهُ لِنَزْدَهِرَ دَائِماً وَنَظَلَّ أَحْيَاءَ كَمَا فِي هَذَا الْيَوْمِ. 

25 وَإذَا أَطَعْنَا جَمِيعَ هَذِهِ الْوَصَايَا بِحِرْصٍ لِنُمَارِسَهَا أَمَامَ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِنَا كَمَا أَمَرَنَا، يَكُونُ لَنَا بِرٌّ.

The Greatest Commandment

1 “Now this is the commandment—the statutes and the rules—that the Lord your God commanded me to teach you, that you may do them in the land to which you are going over, to possess it, (5Mo 4,1; 5Mo 5,31; 5Mo 12,1) 

2 that you may fear the Lord your God, you and your son and your son’s son, by keeping all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you, all the days of your life, and that your days may be long. (5Mo 4,40; 5Mo 5,29; 5Mo 10,12; 5Mo 10,20; 5Mo 13,4; Ps 128,1; Pred 12,13) 

3 Hear therefore, O Israel, and be careful to do them, that it may go well with you, and that you may multiply greatly, as the Lord, the God of your fathers, has promised you, in a land flowing with milk and honey. (1Mo 15,5; 1Mo 22,17; 1Mo 26,4; 1Mo 28,14; 2Mo 32,13) 

4 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. (Jes 42,8; Sach 14,9; Mk 12,29; Joh 17,3; 1Kor 8,4; 1Kor 8,6) 

5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. (2Kön 23,25; Mt 22,37; Mk 12,30; Lk 10,27) 

6 And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. (5Mo 11,18; 5Mo 32,46; Ps 37,31; Jes 51,7; Jer 31,33) 

7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. (5Mo 4,9)

17 You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies and his statutes, which he has commanded you. (5Mo 11,22; Ps 119,4) 

18 And you shall do what is right and good in the sight of the Lord, that it may go well with you, and that you may go in and take possession of the good land that the Lord swore to give to your fathers (5Mo 12,25) 

19 by thrusting out all your enemies from before you, as the Lord has promised. (2Mo 23,28; 4Mo 33,52) 

20 “When your son asks you in time to come, ‘What is the meaning of the testimonies and the statutes and the rules that the Lord our God has commanded you?’ (2Mo 12,26; 2Mo 13,14) 

21 then you shall say to your son, ‘We were Pharaoh’s slaves in Egypt. And the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand. (2Mo 20,2) 

22 And the Lord showed signs and wonders, great and grievous, against Egypt and against Pharaoh and all his household, before our eyes. (5Mo 4,34; Ps 135,9) 

23 And he brought us out from there, that he might bring us in and give us the land that he swore to give to our fathers.

1 Вот повеления, установления и законы, которые Вечный, ваш Бог, велел мне научить вас соблюдать в земле, куда вы вступаете, чтобы овладеть ею. 

2 Всё это для того, чтобы вы, ваши дети и дети ваших детей, пока живы, пребывали в страхе перед Вечным, вашим Богом, соблюдали все Его установления и повеления, которые я даю вам, и тогда ваша жизнь будет долгой. 

3 Слушай, Исраил, и старайся повиноваться, тогда у тебя всё будет благополучно и умножится твой народ в земле, где течёт молоко и мёд, как и обещал вам Вечный, Бог ваших предков. 

4 Слушай, Исраил! Вечный – наш Бог, Вечный – един. 

5 Люби Вечного, Бога твоего, всем сердцем, всей душой и всеми силами своими. 

6 Повеления, которые я даю тебе сегодня, должны быть у тебя в сердце. 

7 Внушай их своим детям. Говори о них, когда сидишь дома и когда идёшь по дороге, когда ложишься и когда встаёшь. 

8 Навяжи их как напоминание на руки и обвяжи ими лоб. 

9 Напиши их на дверных косяках и на воротах своего дома. 

10 Когда Вечный, твой Бог, введёт тебя в землю, которую Он клялся дать твоим предкам Ибрахиму, Исхаку и Якубу, землю с большими, процветающими городами, которые ты не строил, 

11 домами, наполненными всяким добром, которого ты не собирал, колодцами, которые ты не копал, виноградниками и оливковыми рощами, которые ты не сажал, то, поев и насытившись, 

12 берегись, не забудь Вечного, Который вывел тебя из Египта, из земли рабства. 

13 Бойся Вечного, Бога твоего, служи Ему одному и клянись Его именем. 

14 Не следуй другим богам, богам окружающих тебя народов; 

15 ведь Вечный, твой Бог, Который с тобой, – ревнивый Бог, Его гнев вспыхнет против тебя, и Он истребит тебя с лица земли. 

16 Не испытывай Вечного, Бога твоего, как ты делал в Массе. (2Mo 17,1) 

17 Неуклонно соблюдай повеления Вечного, Бога твоего, Его заповеди и установления, которые Он дал тебе. 

18 Делай то, что правильно и хорошо в глазах Вечного, чтобы у тебя всё было благополучно и ты вошёл и завладел благодатной землёй, которую Вечный клятвенно обещал твоим предкам. 

19 Он прогонит всех твоих врагов перед тобой, как и говорил. 

20 В будущем, когда твой сын спросит тебя: «Каков смысл заповедей, установлений и законов, которые Вечный, наш Бог, повелел вам соблюдать?» – 

21 скажи ему: «Мы были рабами фараона в Египте, но Вечный вывел нас из Египта могучей рукой. 

22 У нас на глазах Вечный послал знамения и чудеса – великие и страшные – на Египет, на фараона и на весь его дом. 

23 Но нас Он вывел оттуда, чтобы дать нам землю, которую Он клятвенно обещал нашим предкам. 

24 Вечный повелел нам исполнять все эти установления и жить в страхе перед Ним, нашим Богом, чтобы мы всегда преуспевали и смогли сохранить нашу жизнь, как это и есть сегодня. 

25 И если мы будем внимательно исполнять все законы перед Вечным, нашим Богом, как Он повелел нам, то это и будет нашей праведностью».
