1 Псалом Давида. В напоминание. 2 Господи, не в ярости упрекай меня и не во гневе наказывай. 3 Ведь стрелы Твои пронзили меня, и рука Твоя на мне тяжела. 4 От гнева Твоего нет на теле моем здорового места. От греха моего не осталось здоровья в костях моих. 5 Грехи мои меня поглотили; Они, как бремя, отягощают меня. 6 Мои раны смердят и гноятся из-за безумия моего. 7 Я согбен и совсем поник; весь день хожу скорбя. 8 Палящей болью полны мои бедра, нет на теле моем здорового места. 9 Я изнемог и полностью сокрушен, и от муки сердца кричу. 10 Все мои желания перед Тобой, Владыка, и вздохи мои от Тебя не скрыты. 11 Сердце мое колотится, силы мне изменили, даже свет в глазах моих меркнет. 12 Мои друзья и те, кто любит меня, из-за язв меня избегают, и соседи мои стоят вдалеке. 13 Те, кто хочет убить меня, ставят мне сети; те, кто хочет мне зла, говорят о моей погибели; целый день они строят козни. 14 А я, как глухой, не слышу, как немой, не размыкаю уст. 15 Да, я стал как тот, кто не слышит, в чьих устах не найти ответа. 16 Господи, на Тебя я уповаю; Ты ответишь, Владыка, мой Боже. 17 Я сказал: «Не дай им торжествовать и кичиться передо мной, когда мои ноги колеблются». 18 Я близок к падению, и боль моя передо мной всегда. 19 Я признаю мое беззаконие и скорблю о моем грехе. 20 Могущественны и крепки те, кто враждует со мной; умножились ненавидящие меня без причины. 21 Злом воздают мне за добро, враждуют со мною за то, что добру я следую. 22 Господи, не оставь меня! Не удаляйся от меня, мой Бог. 23 Поспеши мне на помощь, Владыка, мой Спаситель!

1 [1] Of David. Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers! (Пс 37:7; Пс 73:3; Прит 3:31; Прит 23:17; Прит 24:1; Прит 24:19) 2 For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb. (Иов 14:2; Иов 27:13; Пс 90:5; Пс 129:6) 3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.[2] (Лев 26:5; Пс 62:8; Пс 115:9; Прит 2:21; Прит 3:5; Ис 26:4) 4 Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. (Иов 22:26; Ис 58:14; Мф 6:33; Флп 3:1; Флп 4:4) 5 Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. (Пс 22:8; Пс 37:3; Пс 55:22; Прит 16:3; 1Пет 5:7) 6 He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. (Иов 11:17; Ис 58:8; Ис 58:10; Мих 7:9) 7 Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! (Пс 37:1; Пс 62:1; Ис 30:15; Иер 12:1; Плач 3:26) 8 Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil. (Пс 37:7; Еф 4:26) 9 For the evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the Lord shall inherit the land. (Пс 25:13; Пс 37:2; Пс 37:22; Прит 2:21; Ис 57:13; Ис 60:21) 10 In just a little while, the wicked will be no more; though you look carefully at his place, he will not be there. (Иов 7:10; Иов 24:24) 11 But the meek shall inherit the land and delight themselves in abundant peace. (Пс 119:165; Ис 32:17; Мф 5:5) 12 The wicked plots against the righteous and gnashes his teeth at him, (Пс 31:13; Пс 35:16) 13 but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he sees that his day is coming. (Иов 18:20; Пс 2:4) 14 The wicked draw the sword and bend their bows to bring down the poor and needy, to slay those whose way is upright; (Пс 7:10; Пс 7:12) 15 their sword shall enter their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. (1Цар 2:4) 16 Better is the little that the righteous has than the abundance of many wicked. (Прит 15:16; Прит 16:8; 1Тим 6:6) 17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous. (Иов 38:15; Пс 10:15; Пс 37:24; Иез 30:21) 18 The Lord knows the days of the blameless, and their heritage will remain forever; (Пс 1:6; Пс 37:9) 19 they are not put to shame in evil times; in the days of famine they have abundance. (Иов 5:20; Пс 33:19) 20 But the wicked will perish; the enemies of the Lord are like the glory of the pastures; they vanish—like smoke they vanish away. (Пс 68:2; Пс 102:3; Ос 13:3; Мф 6:30; Иак 1:11) 21 The wicked borrows but does not pay back, but the righteous is generous and gives; (Пс 37:26) 22 for those blessed by the Lord[3] shall inherit the land, but those cursed by him shall be cut off. (Пс 37:2; Пс 37:9) 23 The steps of a man are established by the Lord, when he delights in his way; (1Цар 2:9; Пс 25:12; Пс 40:2; Пс 119:5) 24 though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand. (Пс 37:17; Прит 24:16; Мих 7:8; 2Кор 4:9) 25 I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread. (Иов 15:23; Пс 109:10) 26 He is ever lending generously, and his children become a blessing. (Втор 15:8; Втор 15:10; Пс 112:5; Пс 112:9; Мф 5:42; Лк 6:35) 27 Turn away from evil and do good; so shall you dwell forever. (Пс 34:14; Пс 102:28) 28 For the Lord loves justice; he will not forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off. (Пс 37:27) 30 The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice. 31 The law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not slip. (Втор 6:6; Пс 40:8; Пс 73:2; Пс 119:11; Ис 51:7; Иер 31:33; Рим 7:22) 32 The wicked watches for the righteous and seeks to put him to death. (Пс 10:8) 33 The Lord will not abandon him to his power or let him be condemned when he is brought to trial. (Пс 109:31; 2Пет 2:9) 34 Wait for the Lord and keep his way, and he will exalt you to inherit the land; you will look on when the wicked are cut off. (Пс 27:14; Пс 37:9; Пс 52:5; Пс 91:8) 35 I have seen a wicked, ruthless man, spreading himself like a green laurel tree.[4] (Иов 5:3; Пс 52:8) 36 But he passed away,[5] and behold, he was no more; though I sought him, he could not be found. (Иов 20:5; Пс 37:10) 37 Mark the blameless and behold the upright, for there is a future for the man of peace. (Пс 37:11; Пс 119:165; Ис 57:2) 38 But transgressors shall be altogether destroyed; the future of the wicked shall be cut off. (Иов 18:17; Пс 52:5; Пс 73:17; Пс 104:35; Прит 2:22) 39 The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; he is their stronghold in the time of trouble. (Пс 3:8; Пс 9:9) 40 The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him. (1Пар 5:20; Пс 11:1; Ис 31:5; Дан 3:17; Дан 3:28; Дан 6:23; Деян 12:11)
