Fine del diluvio. Noè esce dall’arca

1 Poi Dio si ricordò di Noè, di tutti gli animali e di tutto il bestiame che era con lui nell’arca; e Dio fece passare un vento sulla terra e le acque si calmarono; 2 le fonti dell’abisso e le cateratte del cielo furono chiuse, e cessò la pioggia dal cielo; 3 le acque andarono via via ritirandosi di sulla terra, e alla fine di centocinquanta giorni cominciarono a diminuire. 4 Nel settimo mese, il diciassettesimo giorno del mese, l’arca si fermò sulle montagne dell’Ararat^[1]. 5 Le acque andarono diminuendo fino al decimo mese. Nel decimo mese, il primo giorno del mese, apparvero le vette dei monti. 6 Dopo quaranta giorni Noè aprì la finestra che aveva fatta nell’arca 7 e mandò fuori il corvo, il quale uscì, andando e tornando, finché le acque furono prosciugate sulla terra. 8 Poi mandò fuori la colomba per vedere se le acque fossero diminuite sulla superficie della terra. 9 La colomba non trovò dove posare la pianta del suo piede e tornò a lui nell’arca, perché c’erano le acque sulla superficie di tutta la terra; ed egli stese la mano, la prese e la portò con sé dentro l’arca. 10 Aspettò altri sette giorni, poi mandò di nuovo la colomba fuori dell’arca. 11 E la colomba tornò da lui verso sera; ed ecco, aveva nel becco una foglia fresca d’ulivo. Così Noè capì che le acque erano diminuite sopra la terra. 12 Aspettò altri sette giorni, poi mandò fuori la colomba; ma essa non tornò più da lui. 13 L’anno seicentouno della vita di Noè, il primo mese, il primo giorno del mese, le acque erano asciugate sulla terra e Noè scoperchiò l’arca, guardò, ed ecco che la superficie del suolo era asciutta. 14 Il secondo mese, il ventisettesimo giorno del mese, la terra era asciutta. 15 Dio parlò allora a Noè dicendo: 16 «Esci dall’arca tu, tua moglie, i tuoi figli e le mogli dei tuoi figli con te. 17 Tutti gli animali che sono con te, di ogni specie, volatili, bestiame e tutti i rettili che strisciano sulla terra, falli uscire con te, perché possano disseminarsi sulla terra, siano fecondi e si moltiplichino su di essa». 18 Noè uscì con i suoi figli, con sua moglie e con le mogli dei suoi figli. 19 Tutti gli animali, tutti i rettili, tutti gli uccelli, tutto quello che si muove sulla terra, secondo le loro famiglie, uscirono dall’arca. 20 Noè costruì un altare al Signore; prese animali puri di ogni specie e uccelli puri di ogni specie e offrì olocausti sull’altare. 21 Il Signore sentì un odore soave; e il Signore disse in cuor suo: «Io non maledirò più la terra a motivo dell’uomo, poiché il cuore dell’uomo concepisce disegni malvagi fin dall’adolescenza; non colpirò più ogni essere vivente come ho fatto. 22 Finché la terra durerà, semina e raccolta, freddo e caldo, estate e inverno, giorno e notte non cesseranno mai».

Ende der Sintflut. Noahs Opfer. Verheißung des Herrn

1 Da gedachte Gott an Noah und an alles wilde Getier und an alles Vieh, das mit ihm in der Arche war; und Gott ließ Wind auf Erden kommen, und die Wasser fielen. 2 Und die Brunnen der Tiefe wurden verstopft samt den Fenstern des Himmels, und dem Regen vom Himmel wurde gewehrt. 3 Da verliefen sich die Wasser von der Erde und nahmen immer mehr ab nach hundertfünfzig Tagen. 4 Am siebzehnten Tag des siebenten Monats setzte die Arche auf dem Gebirge Ararat auf. (Gen 7,11) 5 Es nahmen aber die Wasser immer mehr ab bis auf den zehnten Monat. Am ersten Tage des zehnten Monats sahen die Spitzen der Berge hervor. 6 Nach vierzig Tagen tat Noah an der Arche das Fenster auf, das er gemacht hatte, (Gen 7,12; Gen 7,17) 7 und ließ einen Raben ausfliegen; der flog immer hin und her, bis die Wasser vertrockneten auf Erden. 8 Danach ließ er eine Taube ausfliegen, um zu erfahren, ob die Wasser sich verlaufen hätten auf Erden. 9 Da aber die Taube nichts fand, wo ihr Fuß ruhen konnte, kam sie wieder zu ihm in die Arche; denn noch war Wasser auf dem ganzen Erdboden. Da tat er die Hand heraus und nahm sie zu sich in die Arche. 10 Da harrte er noch weitere sieben Tage und ließ abermals die Taube fliegen aus der Arche. 11 Sie kam zu ihm um die Abendzeit, und siehe, sie hatte ein frisches Ölblatt in ihrem Schnabel. Da merkte Noah, dass die Wasser sich verlaufen hatten auf Erden. 12 Aber er harrte noch weitere sieben Tage und ließ die Taube ausfliegen; sie kam nicht wieder zu ihm. 13 Im sechshundertundersten Jahr Noahs am ersten Tage des ersten Monats waren die Wasser vertrocknet auf Erden. Da tat Noah das Dach von der Arche und sah, dass der Erdboden trocken war. (Gen 7,11) 14 Und am siebenundzwanzigsten Tage des zweiten Monats war die Erde ganz trocken. 15 Da redete Gott mit Noah und sprach: 16 Geh aus der Arche, du und deine Frau, deine Söhne und die Frauen deiner Söhne mit dir. 17 Alles Getier, das bei dir ist, von allem Fleisch, an Vögeln, an Vieh und allem Gewürm, das auf Erden kriecht, das lass mit dir herausgehen, dass sie sich regen auf Erden und fruchtbar seien und sich mehren auf Erden. 18 So ging Noah heraus mit seinen Söhnen und mit seiner Frau und den Frauen seiner Söhne, (2P 2,5) 19 dazu alles wilde Getier, alles Vieh, alle Vögel und alles Gewürm, das auf Erden kriecht; das ging aus der Arche, ein jedes mit seinesgleichen. 20 Noah aber baute dem HERRN einen Altar und nahm von allem reinen Vieh und von allen reinen Vögeln und opferte Brandopfer auf dem Altar. (Gen 7,2) 21 Und der HERR roch den lieblichen Geruch und sprach in seinem Herzen: Ich will hinfort nicht mehr die Erde verfluchen um der Menschen willen; denn das Dichten und Trachten des menschlichen Herzens ist böse von Jugend auf. Und ich will hinfort nicht mehr schlagen alles, was da lebt, wie ich getan habe. (Gen 6,5; Giob 14,4; Sal 14,3; Mat 15,19; Ro 3,23)

1 And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged; 2 The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained; 3 And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated. 4 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat. 5 And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month , on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen. 6 And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made: 7 And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth. 8 Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground; 9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark. 10 And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark; 11 And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth. 12 And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more. 13 And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month , the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry. 14 And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried. 15 And God spake unto Noah, saying, 16 Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons'wives with thee. 17 Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth. 18 And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons'wives with him: 19 Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark. 20 And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. 21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man' sake; for the imagination of man' heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. 22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

1 Dios se acordó entonces de Noé y de todos los animales salvajes y domésticos que estaban con él en el arca. Hizo que soplara un fuerte viento sobre la tierra, y las aguas comenzaron a bajar. 2 Se cerraron las fuentes del mar profundo y las compuertas del cielo, y dejó de llover. 3 Poco a poco las aguas se fueron retirando de la tierra. Al cabo de ciento cincuenta días las aguas habían disminuido. 4 El día diecisiete del mes séptimo el arca se detuvo sobre las montañas de Ararat, 5 y las aguas siguieron bajando hasta que el primer día del mes décimo pudieron verse las cimas de las montañas. 6 Después de cuarenta días, Noé abrió la ventana del arca que había hecho 7 y soltó un cuervo, el cual estuvo volando de un lado a otro, esperando a que se secara la tierra. 8 Luego soltó una paloma, para ver si las aguas que cubrían la tierra ya se habían retirado. 9 Pero la paloma no encontró un lugar donde posarse, y volvió al arca porque las aguas aún cubrían la tierra. Noé extendió la mano, tomó la paloma y la metió consigo en el arca. 10 Esperó siete días más y volvió a soltar la paloma fuera del arca. 11 Caía la noche cuando la paloma regresó, trayendo en su pico una ramita de olivo recién cortada. Así Noé se dio cuenta de que las aguas habían bajado hasta dejar la tierra al descubierto. 12 Esperó siete días más y volvió a soltar la paloma, pero esta vez la paloma ya no regresó. 13 Noé tenía seiscientos un años cuando las aguas se secaron. El primer día del primer mes de ese año, Noé quitó la cubierta del arca y vio que la tierra estaba seca. 14 Para el día veintisiete del segundo mes, la tierra estaba ya completamente seca. 15 Entonces Dios le dijo a Noé: 16 «Sal del arca junto con tus hijos, tu esposa y tus nueras. 17 Saca también a todos los seres vivientes que están contigo: las aves, el ganado y todos los animales que se arrastran por el suelo. ¡Que sean fecundos! ¡Que se multipliquen y llenen la tierra!» 18 Salieron, pues, del arca Noé y sus hijos, su esposa y sus nueras. 19 Salieron también todos los animales: el ganado, las aves, y todos los reptiles que se mueven sobre la tierra, cada uno según su especie. 20 Luego Noé construyó un altar al Señor, y sobre ese altar ofreció como holocausto animales puros y aves puras. 21 Cuando el Señor percibió el grato aroma, se dijo a sí mismo: «Aunque las intenciones del ser humano son perversas desde su juventud, nunca más volveré a maldecir la tierra por culpa suya. Tampoco volveré a destruir a todos los seres vivientes, como acabo de hacerlo. 22 »Mientras la tierra exista, habrá siembra y cosecha, frío y calor, verano e invierno, y días y noches.»
