Il diluvio

1 Il Signore disse a Noè: «Entra nell’arca tu con tutta la tua famiglia, perché ho visto che sei giusto davanti a me, in questa generazione. 2 Di ogni specie di animali puri prendine sette paia, maschio e femmina; e degli animali impuri un paio, maschio e femmina. 3 Anche degli uccelli del cielo prendine sette paia, maschio e femmina, per conservarne in vita la razza sulla faccia di tutta la terra; 4 poiché di qui a sette giorni farò piovere sulla terra per quaranta giorni e quaranta notti: sterminerò dalla faccia della terra tutti gli esseri viventi che ho fatto». 5 Noè fece tutto quello che il Signore gli aveva comandato. 6 Noè aveva seicento anni quando il diluvio delle acque inondò la terra. 7 Noè, con i suoi figli, con sua moglie e con le mogli dei suoi figli, entrò nell’arca per scampare alle acque del diluvio. 8 Degli animali puri e degli animali impuri, degli uccelli e di tutto quello che striscia sulla terra, 9 vennero delle coppie, maschio e femmina, a Noè nell’arca, come Dio aveva comandato a Noè. 10 Trascorsi i sette giorni, le acque del diluvio vennero sulla terra. 11 Il seicentesimo anno della vita di Noè, il secondo mese, il diciassettesimo giorno del mese, in quel giorno tutte le fonti del grande abisso eruppero e le cateratte del cielo si aprirono. 12 Piovve sulla terra quaranta giorni e quaranta notti. 13 In quello stesso giorno Noè, Sem, Cam e Iafet, figli di Noè, la moglie di Noè e le tre mogli dei suoi figli entrarono con loro nell’arca: 14 essi e tutti gli animali secondo le loro specie, tutto il bestiame secondo le sue specie, tutti i rettili che strisciano sulla terra secondo le loro specie, e tutti gli uccelli secondo le loro specie, tutti gli uccelletti, tutti gli esseri alati. 15 Di ogni essere vivente in cui è alito di vita venne una coppia a Noè nell’arca; 16 venivano maschio e femmina d’ogni specie, come Dio aveva comandato a Noè; poi il Signore lo chiuse dentro. 17 Il diluvio venne sopra la terra per quaranta giorni, e le acque crebbero e sollevarono l’arca, che fu elevata in alto al di sopra della terra. 18 E le acque ingrossarono e crebbero grandemente sopra la terra, e l’arca galleggiava sulla superficie delle acque. 19 Le acque ingrossarono oltremodo sopra la terra; tutte le alte montagne che erano sotto tutti i cieli furono coperte. 20 Le acque salirono quindici cubiti al di sopra delle vette dei monti; le montagne furono coperte. 21 Perì ogni essere vivente che si muoveva sulla terra: uccelli, bestiame, animali selvatici, rettili d’ogni sorta striscianti sulla terra e tutti gli uomini. 22 Tutto quello che era sulla terra asciutta e aveva alito di vita nelle sue narici morì. 23 Tutti gli esseri che erano sulla faccia della terra furono sterminati: dall’uomo fino al bestiame, ai rettili e agli uccelli del cielo; furono sterminati sulla terra; solo Noè scampò con quelli che erano con lui nell’arca. 24 E le acque rimasero alte sopra la terra per centocinquanta giorni.

Die Sintflut

1 Und der HERR sprach zu Noah: Geh in die Arche, du und dein ganzes Haus; denn dich habe ich für gerecht befunden vor mir zu dieser Zeit. (Gen 6,8) 2 Von allen reinen Tieren nimm zu dir je sieben, das Männchen und sein Weibchen, von den unreinen Tieren aber je ein Paar, das Männchen und sein Weibchen. (Gen 8,20; Le 11,1) 3 Desgleichen von den Vögeln unter dem Himmel je sieben, Männchen und Weibchen, um Nachkommen am Leben zu erhalten auf der ganzen Erde. 4 Denn von heute an in sieben Tagen will ich regnen lassen auf Erden vierzig Tage und vierzig Nächte und vertilgen von dem Erdboden alles Lebendige, das ich gemacht habe. 5 Und Noah tat alles, was ihm der HERR gebot. 6 Er war aber sechshundert Jahre alt, als die Sintflut auf Erden kam. 7 Und er ging in die Arche mit seinen Söhnen, seiner Frau und den Frauen seiner Söhne vor den Wassern der Sintflut. (1P 3,20) 8 Von den reinen Tieren und von den unreinen, von den Vögeln und von allem Gewürm auf Erden 9 gingen sie zu ihm in die Arche paarweise, je ein Männchen und Weibchen, wie ihm Gott geboten hatte. (Gen 6,19) 10 Und als die sieben Tage vergangen waren, kamen die Wasser der Sintflut auf Erden. 11 In dem sechshundertsten Lebensjahr Noahs am siebzehnten Tag des zweiten Monats, an diesem Tag brachen alle Brunnen der großen Tiefe auf und taten sich die Fenster des Himmels auf, (Ap 9,1) 12 und ein Regen kam auf Erden vierzig Tage und vierzig Nächte. 13 An ebendiesem Tage ging Noah in die Arche mit Sem, Ham und Jafet, seinen Söhnen, und mit seiner Frau und den drei Frauen seiner Söhne; 14 dazu alles wilde Getier nach seiner Art, alles Vieh nach seiner Art, alles Gewürm, das auf Erden kriecht, nach seiner Art und alle Vögel nach ihrer Art, alles, was fliegen konnte, alles, was Fittiche hatte; 15 das ging alles zu Noah in die Arche paarweise, von allem Fleisch, darin Odem des Lebens war. 16 Und das waren Männchen und Weibchen von allem Fleisch, und sie gingen hinein, wie denn Gott ihm geboten hatte. Und der HERR schloss hinter ihm zu. (Gen 6,19) 17 Und die Sintflut war vierzig Tage auf Erden, und die Wasser wuchsen und hoben die Arche auf und trugen sie empor über die Erde. 18 Und die Wasser nahmen überhand und wuchsen sehr auf Erden, und die Arche fuhr auf den Wassern. 19 Und die Wasser nahmen überhand und wuchsen so sehr auf Erden, dass alle hohen Berge unter dem ganzen Himmel bedeckt wurden. 20 Fünfzehn Ellen hoch gingen die Wasser über die Berge, sodass sie ganz bedeckt wurden. 21 Da ging alles Fleisch unter, das sich auf Erden regte, an Vögeln, an Vieh, an wildem Getier und an allem, was da wimmelte auf Erden, und alle Menschen. (2P 3,5) 22 Alles, was Odem des Lebens hatte auf dem Trockenen, das starb. 23 So vertilgte er alles, was auf dem Erdboden war, vom Menschen an bis hin zum Vieh und zum Gewürm und zu den Vögeln unter dem Himmel. Sie wurden von der Erde vertilgt. Allein Noah blieb übrig und was mit ihm in der Arche war. 24 Und die Wasser wuchsen gewaltig auf Erden hundertfünfzig Tage.

1 And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation. 2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female. 3 Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth. 4 For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth. 5 And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him. 6 And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth. 7 And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons'wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. 8 Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth, 9 There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah. 10 And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth. 11 In the six hundredth year of Noah' life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. 12 And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights. 13 In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah' wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark; 14 They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort. 15 And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life. 16 And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in. 17 And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth. 18 And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters. 19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered. 20 Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered. 21 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man: 22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land , died. 23 And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive , and they that were with him in the ark. 24 And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.

1 El Señor le dijo a Noé: «Entra en el arca con toda tu familia, porque tú eres el único hombre justo que he encontrado en esta generación. 2 De todos los animales puros, lleva siete machos y siete hembras; pero de los impuros, sólo un macho y una hembra. 3 Lleva también siete machos y siete hembras de las aves del cielo, para conservar su especie sobre la tierra. 4 Porque dentro de siete días haré que llueva sobre la tierra durante cuarenta días y cuarenta noches, y así borraré de la faz de la tierra a todo ser viviente que hice.» 5 Noé hizo todo de acuerdo con lo que el Señor le había mandado. 6 Tenía Noé seiscientos años de edad cuando las aguas del diluvio inundaron la tierra. 7 Entonces entró en el arca junto con sus hijos, su esposa y sus nueras, para salvarse de las aguas del diluvio. 8 De los animales puros e impuros, de las aves y de todos los seres que se arrastran por el suelo, 9 entraron con Noé por parejas, el macho y su hembra, tal como Dios se lo había mandado. 10 Al cabo de los siete días, las aguas del diluvio comenzaron a caer sobre la tierra. 11 Cuando Noé tenía seiscientos años, precisamente en el día diecisiete del mes segundo, se reventaron las fuentes del mar profundo y se abrieron las compuertas del cielo. 12 Cuarenta días y cuarenta noches llovió sobre la tierra. 13 Ese mismo día entraron en el arca Noé, sus hijos Sem, Cam y Jafet, su esposa y sus tres nueras. 14 Junto con ellos entró toda clase de animales salvajes y domésticos, de animales que se arrastran por el suelo, y de aves. 15 Así entraron en el arca con Noé parejas de todos los seres vivientes; 16 entraron un macho y una hembra de cada especie, tal como Dios se lo había mandado a Noé. Luego el Señor cerró la puerta del arca. 17 El diluvio cayó sobre la tierra durante cuarenta días. Cuando crecieron las aguas, elevaron el arca por encima de la tierra. 18 Las aguas crecían y aumentaban cada vez más, pero el arca se mantenía a flote sobre ellas. 19 Tanto crecieron las aguas, que cubrieron las montañas más altas que hay debajo de los cielos. 20 El nivel del agua subió más de siete metros^[1] por encima de las montañas. 21 Así murió todo ser viviente que se movía sobre la tierra: las aves, los animales salvajes y domésticos, todo tipo de animal que se arrastraba por el suelo, y todo ser humano. 22 Pereció todo ser que habitaba la tierra firme y tenía aliento de vida. 23 Dios borró de la faz de la tierra a todo ser viviente, desde los seres humanos hasta los ganados, los reptiles y las aves del cielo. Todos fueron borrados de la faz de la tierra. Sólo quedaron Noé y los que estaban con él en el arca. 24 Y la tierra quedó inundada ciento cincuenta días.
