1An jenem Tag verließ Jesus das Haus und setzte sich an das Ufer des Sees. (Mk 4,1; Lk 8,4)2Da versammelte sich eine große Menschenmenge um ihn. Er stieg deshalb in ein Boot und setzte sich. Und alle Menschen standen am Ufer.3Und er sprach lange zu ihnen in Gleichnissen. Er sagte: Siehe, ein Sämann ging hinaus, um zu säen.4Als er säte, fiel ein Teil auf den Weg und die Vögel kamen und fraßen es.5Ein anderer Teil fiel auf felsigen Boden, wo es nur wenig Erde gab, und ging sofort auf, weil das Erdreich nicht tief war;6als aber die Sonne hochstieg, wurde die Saat versengt und verdorrte, weil sie keine Wurzeln hatte.7Wieder ein anderer Teil fiel in die Dornen und die Dornen wuchsen und erstickten die Saat.8Ein anderer Teil aber fiel auf guten Boden und brachte Frucht, teils hundertfach, teils sechzigfach, teils dreißigfach.9Wer Ohren hat, der höre! Sinngebung für die Gleichnisrede
10Da traten die Jünger zu ihm und sagten: Warum redest du zu ihnen in Gleichnissen? (Mk 4,10; Lk 8,9)11Er antwortete ihnen: Euch ist es gegeben, die Geheimnisse des Himmelreichs zu verstehen; ihnen aber ist es nicht gegeben.12Denn wer hat, dem wird gegeben und er wird im Überfluss haben; wer aber nicht hat, dem wird auch noch weggenommen, was er hat. (Mt 25,29; Mk 4,25; Lk 8,18; Lk 19,26)13Deshalb rede ich zu ihnen in Gleichnissen, weil sie sehen und doch nicht sehen und hören und doch nicht hören und nicht verstehen.14An ihnen erfüllt sich das Prophetenwort Jesajas:
Hören sollt ihr, hören und doch nicht verstehen; / sehen sollt ihr, sehen und doch nicht einsehen. (Jes 6,9; Joh 12,40; Apg 28,26)15Denn das Herz dieses Volkes ist hart geworden. / Mit ihren Ohren hören sie schwer / und ihre Augen verschließen sie, / damit sie mit ihren Augen nicht sehen / und mit ihren Ohren nicht hören / und mit ihrem Herzen / nicht zur Einsicht kommen / und sich bekehren und ich sie heile.16Eure Augen aber sind selig, weil sie sehen, und eure Ohren, weil sie hören. (Lk 10,23)17Denn, amen, ich sage euch: Viele Propheten und Gerechte haben sich danach gesehnt zu sehen, was ihr seht, und haben es nicht gesehen, und zu hören, was ihr hört, und haben es nicht gehört.
Die Deutung des Gleichnisses vom Sämann
18Ihr also, hört, was das Gleichnis vom Sämann bedeutet. (Mk 4,13; Lk 8,11)19Zu jedem Menschen, der das Wort vom Reich hört und es nicht versteht, kommt der Böse und nimmt weg, was diesem Menschen ins Herz gesät wurde; bei diesem ist der Samen auf den Weg gefallen.20Auf felsigen Boden ist der Samen bei dem gefallen, der das Wort hört und sofort freudig aufnimmt;21er hat aber keine Wurzeln, sondern ist unbeständig; sobald er um des Wortes willen bedrängt oder verfolgt wird, kommt er sofort zu Fall.22In die Dornen ist der Samen bei dem gefallen, der das Wort hört, und die Sorgen dieser Welt und der trügerische Reichtum ersticken es und es bleibt ohne Frucht.23Auf guten Boden ist der Samen bei dem gesät, der das Wort hört und es auch versteht; er bringt Frucht - hundertfach oder sechzigfach oder dreißigfach.
Das Gleichnis vom Unkraut unter dem Weizen
24Jesus legte ihnen ein anderes Gleichnis vor: Mit dem Himmelreich ist es wie mit einem Mann, der guten Samen auf seinen Acker säte.25Während nun die Menschen schliefen, kam sein Feind, säte Unkraut unter den Weizen und ging weg.26Als die Saat aufging und sich die Ähren bildeten, kam auch das Unkraut zum Vorschein.27Da gingen die Knechte zu dem Gutsherrn und sagten: Herr, hast du nicht guten Samen auf deinen Acker gesät? Woher kommt dann das Unkraut?28Er antwortete: Das hat ein Feind getan. Da sagten die Knechte zu ihm: Sollen wir gehen und es ausreißen?29Er entgegnete: Nein, damit ihr nicht zusammen mit dem Unkraut den Weizen ausreißt.30Lasst beides wachsen bis zur Ernte und zur Zeit der Ernte werde ich den Schnittern sagen: Sammelt zuerst das Unkraut und bindet es in Bündel, um es zu verbrennen; den Weizen aber bringt in meine Scheune! (Mt 3,12)
Das Gleichnis vom Senfkorn
31Er legte ihnen ein weiteres Gleichnis vor und sagte: Mit dem Himmelreich ist es wie mit einem Senfkorn, das ein Mann auf seinen Acker säte. (Mk 4,30; Lk 13,18; Lk 17,6)32Es ist das kleinste von allen Samenkörnern; sobald es aber hochgewachsen ist, ist es größer als die anderen Gewächse und wird zu einem Baum, sodass die Vögel des Himmels kommen und in seinen Zweigen nisten. (Dan 4,8)
Das Gleichnis vom Sauerteig
33Er sagte ihnen ein weiteres Gleichnis: Mit dem Himmelreich ist es wie mit dem Sauerteig, den eine Frau nahm und unter drei Sea Mehl verbarg, bis das Ganze durchsäuert war.[1] (Lk 13,20; 1Kor 5,6; Gal 5,9)
Die Erfüllung der Schrift in der Gleichnisverkündigung Jesu
34Dies alles sagte Jesus der Menschenmenge in Gleichnissen und ohne Gleichnisse redete er nicht zu ihnen, (Mk 4,33)35damit sich erfülle, was durch den Propheten gesagt worden ist:
Ich öffne meinen Mund in Gleichnissen, / ich spreche aus, was seit der Schöpfung der Welt verborgen war. (Ps 78,2)
Die Deutung des Gleichnisses vom Unkraut unter dem Weizen
36Dann verließ er die Menge und ging in das Haus. Und seine Jünger kamen zu ihm und sagten: Erkläre uns das Gleichnis vom Unkraut auf dem Acker!37Er antwortete: Der den guten Samen sät, ist der Menschensohn;38der Acker ist die Welt; der gute Samen, das sind die Kinder des Reiches; das Unkraut sind die Kinder des Bösen;39der Feind, der es gesät hat, ist der Teufel; die Ernte ist das Ende der Welt; die Schnitter sind die Engel.40Wie nun das Unkraut aufgesammelt und im Feuer verbrannt wird, so wird es auch bei dem Ende der Welt sein: (Mt 3,10; Joh 15,6)41Der Menschensohn wird seine Engel aussenden und sie werden aus seinem Reich alle zusammenholen, die andere verführt und Gesetzloses getan haben,42und werden sie in den Feuerofen werfen. Die Gleichnisse vom Schatz und von der Perle
44Mit dem Himmelreich ist es wie mit einem Schatz, der in einem Acker vergraben war. Ein Mann entdeckte ihn und grub ihn wieder ein. Und in seiner Freude ging er hin, verkaufte alles, was er besaß, und kaufte den Acker.45Auch ist es mit dem Himmelreich wie mit einem Kaufmann, der schöne Perlen suchte.46Als er eine besonders wertvolle Perle fand, ging er hin, verkaufte alles, was er besaß, und kaufte sie.
Das Gleichnis vom Fischnetz
47Wiederum ist es mit dem Himmelreich wie mit einem Netz, das ins Meer ausgeworfen wurde und in dem sich Fische aller Art fingen.48Als es voll war, zogen es die Fischer ans Ufer; sie setzten sich, sammelten die guten Fische in Körbe, die schlechten aber warfen sie weg.49So wird es auch bei dem Ende der Welt sein: Die Engel werden kommen und die Bösen aus der Mitte der Gerechten aussondern50und sie in den Feuerofen werfen. Das Bildwort vom Hausvater und der Abschluss der Rede
51Habt ihr das alles verstanden? Sie antworteten ihm: Ja.52Da sagte er zu ihnen: Deswegen gleicht jeder Schriftgelehrte, der ein Jünger des Himmelreichs geworden ist, einem Hausherrn, der aus seinem Schatz Neues und Altes hervorholt.53Und es geschah, als Jesus diese Gleichnisse beendet hatte, zog er weiter.
Die Ablehnung Jesu in seiner Heimat
54Jesus kam in seine Heimatstadt und lehrte die Menschen in ihrer Synagoge, sodass sie außer sich gerieten vor Staunen und sagten: Woher hat er diese Weisheit und die Machttaten? (Mk 6,1; Lk 4,16; Joh 7,15)55Ist das nicht der Sohn des Zimmermanns? Heißt nicht seine Mutter Maria und sind nicht Jakobus, Josef, Simon und Judas seine Brüder? (Joh 6,42)56Leben nicht auch alle seine Schwestern unter uns? Woher also hat er das alles?57Und sie nahmen Anstoß an ihm. Da sagte Jesus zu ihnen: Nirgends ist ein Prophet ohne Ansehen außer in seiner Heimat und in seiner Familie. (Joh 4,44)58Und er wirkte dort nicht viele Machttaten wegen ihres Unglaubens.

1Jeszcze tego samego dnia Jezus wyszedł z domu i usiadł nad jeziorem,2gdzie wkrótce zgromadziły się ogromne tłumy. Wsiadł więc do łodzi, a ludzie pozostali na brzegu.3Zaczął ich wtedy nauczać posługując się przypowieściami: —Pewien rolnik postanowił zasiać ziarno.4Gdy rozsiewał je na polu, niektóre nasiona upadły na udeptaną ścieżkę. Zaraz przyleciały ptaki i wydziobały je.5Inne upadły na cienką warstwę gleby, pod którą była skała.6Te, choć szybko wyrosły, wkrótce zwiędły w słonecznym upale i zginęły, ponieważ w płytkiej glebie ich korzenie nie znalazły dosyć wody.7Jeszcze inne upadły między chwasty i niebawem zostały przez nie zagłuszone.8Niektóre jednak trafiły na dobrą glebę i dały po sto, sześćdziesiąt lub trzydzieści ziaren plonu.9Kto ma uszy do słuchania, niech słucha uważnie!10Uczniowie podeszli do Jezusa i zapytali: —Dlaczego nauczasz ludzi poprzez przypowieści?11—Wam dano zrozumieć tajemnice dotyczące królestwa niebieskiego—wyjaśnił.12—Kto ma Bożą mądrość, otrzyma jej więcej i będzie opływał w dostatek. Tak jest z ziarnem posianym na udeptanej ścieżce.20Ziarno na gruncie skalistym oznacza tego, kto słucha i z radością przyjmuje słowo.21Brak mu jednak mocnych korzeni. Jest niestały i w obliczu trudności lub prześladowań z powodu słowa załamuje się.22Ziarnem posianym wśród chwastów jest człowiek, który słucha słowa, ale zmartwienia i pogoń za bogactwem zagłuszają je, tak że nie przynosi ono w jego życiu żadnego plonu.23Dobra gleba natomiast to człowiek, który słucha słowa, rozumie je i wydaje obfity plon: sto, sześćdziesiąt lub trzydzieści razy większy.
Przypowieść o chwastach
24Potem Jezus przedstawił kolejną przypowieść: —Królestwo niebieskie podobne jest do człowieka, który posiał na polu dobre ziarno.25Lecz gdy wszyscy spali, zakradł się jego wróg i między pszenicę posiał chwasty.26Gdy nasiona wzeszły i zaczęły pojawiać się kłosy, wyrosły także chwasty.27Wówczas przyszli do właściciela pracownicy i powiedzieli: „Czy nie posiałeś dobrego ziarna? Skąd w takim razie na polu wzięły się chwasty?”.28„Musiał to zrobić mój nieprzyjaciel”—wyjaśnił. „Czy więc chcesz, abyśmy poszli i usunęli chwasty?”—zapytali pracownicy.29„Nie”—odpowiedział—„Przypadkiem moglibyście powyrywać zboże.30Niech rosną razem aż do żniw, a wtedy powiem żniwiarzom: Zbierzcie najpierw chwasty—w wiązki przeznaczone do spalenia, a pszenicę zwieźcie do magazynów”.
Przypowieść o ziarnie gorczycy i kwasie
31Jeszcze inną przypowieść opowiedział im Jezus: —Królestwo niebieskie jest podobne do ziarna gorczycy, które rolnik zasiał na polu.32Mimo że jest ono chyba najmniejsze ze wszystkich nasion, wyrasta na krzew zaliczany do największych, a na jego rozłożystych gałęziach ptaki budują sobie gniazda.33Przedstawił im też taką przypowieść: —Królestwo niebieskie jest podobne do kwasu chlebowego, który kobieta zmieszała z całym workiem mąki i który przeniknął całe ciasto.34Cokolwiek Jezus mówił do tłumów, posługiwał się przypowieściami. Inaczej nie nauczał.35W ten sposób miały się wypełnić słowa proroka: „Będę nauczać w przypowieściach, opowiem o tajemnicach ukrytych od początku świata”.
Wyjaśnienie przypowieści o chwastach
36Potem opuścił zebranych i udał się do domu. Wówczas uczniowie podeszli do Niego, prosząc: —Wyjaśnij nam przypowieść o chwastach na polu.37—Siejącym dobre ziarno jestem Ja, Syn Człowieczy—odpowiedział Jezus.38—Polem jest świat, a dobre ziarno to ci, którzy należą do królestwa. Chwasty to ci, którzy należą do diabła,39a nieprzyjacielem, który je posiał, jest sam diabeł. Żniwa to koniec świata, a żniwiarze to aniołowie.40Koniec czasów podobny będzie do zbioru i spalenia chwastów.41Ja, Syn Człowieczy, wyślę wtedy swoich aniołów—a oni usuną z królestwa tych, którzy czynili zło i prowadzili do zła innych.42Wrzucą ich do rozpalonego pieca. Tam będzie lament i rozpacz.43A ludzie prawi zabłysną jak słońce w królestwie swojego Ojca. Kto ma uszy do słuchania, niech słucha uważnie!
Przypowieść o ukrytym skarbie i perle
44Królestwo niebieskie podobne jest do skarbu znalezionego na polu—mówił Jezus. —Ten, kto go odkrył, ukrył go ponownie i z radości poszedł sprzedać wszystko, co posiadał, aby kupić to pole.45Królestwo niebieskie podobne jest również do kolekcjonera pięknych pereł.46Gdy natrafił na niezwykle cenną perłę, poszedł sprzedać cały majątek i kupił ją.
Przypowieść o sieci
47Królestwo niebieskie można również porównać do sieci rzuconej w morze, w którą wpadają różne ryby.48Gdy już się napełni, wyciąga się ją na brzeg i przebiera ryby: dobre kładzie się do skrzyni, a niedobre się wyrzuca.49Podobnie będzie przy końcu czasów—aniołowie oddzielą ludzi złych od prawych.50I wrzucą tych pierwszych w ogień, gdzie będzie lament i rozpacz.51Czy zrozumieliście? —Tak—odpowiedzieli uczniowie.52Jezus kontynuował: —Każdy przywódca religijny, znawca Pism, który staje się uczniem królestwa niebios, jest podobny do bogatego właściciela. Podobnie jak on, wydobywa ze swojego skarbca stare i nowe kosztowności.
Zlekceważony prorok
53Gdy Jezus skończył tam nauczać,54powrócił w rodzinne strony i przemawiał w tamtejszej synagodze. A słuchający ze zdumieniem powtarzali: —Skąd u niego taka mądrość i moc?55Przecież jest synem cieśli! Znamy dobrze jego matkę, Marię, i braci: Jakuba, Józefa, Szymona i Judę.56Przecież i jego siostry tu są?! Skąd się więc u niego to wszystko wzięło?57I nie mogli się z tym pogodzić. Wtedy Jezus powiedział: —Prorok może cieszyć się poważaniem wszędzie, z wyjątkiem swojego miasta i rodziny.58I z powodu ich niewiary nie dokonał tam wielu cudów.
