1In jener Zeit ging Jesus am Sabbat durch die Kornfelder. Seine Jünger hatten Hunger; sie rissen Ähren ab und aßen davon. (5Mo 23,26; Mk 2,23; Lk 6,1)2Die Pharisäer sahen es und sagten zu ihm: Sieh her, deine Jünger tun etwas, das am Sabbat verboten ist.3Da sagte er zu ihnen: Habt ihr nicht gelesen, was David getan hat, als er und seine Begleiter hungrig waren - (1Sam 21,2)4wie er in das Haus Gottes ging und wie sie die Schaubrote aßen, die weder er noch seine Begleiter, sondern nur die Priester essen durften? (3Mo 24,9)5Oder habt ihr nicht im Gesetz gelesen, dass am Sabbat die Priester im Tempel den Sabbat entweihen, ohne sich schuldig zu machen?6Ich sage euch: Hier ist Größeres als der Tempel.7Wenn ihr begriffen hättet, was das heißt: Barmherzigkeit will ich, nicht Opfer, dann hättet ihr nicht Unschuldige verurteilt; (Hos 6,6; Mt 9,13)8denn der Menschensohn ist Herr über den Sabbat.
Sabbat, Heilung und Tötungsplan
9Von dort ging er weiter und kam in ihre Synagoge. (Mk 3,1; Lk 6,6; Lk 14,1)10Und siehe, dort saß ein Mann, dessen Hand verdorrt war. Sie fragten ihn: Ist es am Sabbat erlaubt zu heilen? Sie suchten ihn nämlich anzuklagen. (Lk 13,14)11Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Wer von euch, der ein einziges Schaf hat, wird es nicht packen und herausziehen, wenn es ihm am Sabbat in eine Grube fällt?12Wie viel mehr ist ein Mensch als ein Schaf? Darum ist es am Sabbat erlaubt, Gutes zu tun.13Dann sagte er zu dem Mann: Streck deine Hand aus! Er streckte sie aus und die Hand wurde wiederhergestellt - gesund wie die andere.14Die Pharisäer aber gingen hinaus und fassten den Beschluss, Jesus umzubringen. (Mk 11,18; Lk 19,47; Joh 5,18)
Die Erfüllung der Schrift im heilenden Handeln Jesu
15Als Jesus das erfuhr, ging er von dort weg. Viele folgten ihm nach und er heilte sie alle. (Mt 8,16; Mk 3,7; Lk 6,17)16Er gebot ihnen, dass sie ihn nicht bekannt machen sollten,17damit erfüllt werde, was durch den Propheten Jesaja gesagt worden ist:18Siehe, mein Knecht, den ich erwählt habe, / mein Geliebter, an dem ich Gefallen gefunden habe.
Ich werde meinen Geist auf ihn legen / und er wird den Völkern das Recht verkünden. (Jes 42,1; Mt 3,17)19Er wird nicht streiten und nicht schreien / und man wird seine Stimme nicht auf den Straßen hören.20Das geknickte Rohr wird er nicht zerbrechen / und den glimmenden Docht nicht auslöschen, / bis er dem Recht zum Sieg verholfen hat.21Und auf seinen Namen werden die Völker ihre Hoffnung setzen.
Verteidigungsrede Jesu
22Dann brachte man zu ihm einen Besessenen, der blind und stumm war. Er heilte ihn, sodass der Stumme wieder reden und sehen konnte. (Mt 9,32; Lk 11,14)23Die Menge war fassungslos und sagte: Ist dieser nicht der Sohn Davids?24Als die Pharisäer das hörten, sagten sie: Nur mit Hilfe von Beelzebul, dem Herrscher der Dämonen, treibt er die Dämonen aus. (Mt 10,25; Mk 3,22; Lk 11,15)25Doch Jesus wusste, was sie dachten, und sagte zu ihnen: Jedes Reich, das in sich gespalten ist, wird veröden und eine Stadt und eine Familie, die in sich gespalten ist, wird keinen Bestand haben.26Wenn also der Satan den Satan austreibt, dann ist Satan in sich selbst gespalten. Wie kann sein Reich dann Bestand haben?27Und wenn ich die Dämonen durch Beelzebul austreibe, durch wen treiben dann eure Söhne sie aus? Deswegen werden sie eure Richter sein.28Wenn ich aber im Geist Gottes die Dämonen austreibe, dann ist das Reich Gottes schon zu euch gekommen.29Wie kann einer in das Haus des Starken eindringen und ihm den Hausrat rauben, wenn er nicht zuerst den Starken fesselt? Erst dann kann er sein Haus plündern.30Wer nicht mit mir ist, der ist gegen mich; wer nicht mit mir sammelt, der zerstreut.31Darum sage ich euch: Jede Sünde und Lästerung wird den Menschen vergeben werden, aber die Lästerung gegen den Geist wird nicht vergeben werden. (Mk 3,28; Lk 12,10)32Auch wer ein Wort gegen den Menschensohn sagt, dem wird vergeben werden; wer aber etwas gegen den Heiligen Geist sagt, dem wird nicht vergeben, weder in dieser noch in der zukünftigen Welt.33Entweder: Der Baum ist gut - dann sind auch seine Früchte gut. Oder: Der Baum ist schlecht - dann sind auch seine Früchte schlecht. An der Frucht also erkennt man den Baum. (Mt 7,17; Lk 6,43)34Ihr Schlangenbrut, wie könnt ihr Gutes reden, wenn ihr böse seid? Denn wovon das Herz überfließt, davon spricht der Mund. (Mt 3,7)35Der gute Mensch bringt aus dem guten Schatz Gutes hervor und der böse Mensch bringt aus dem bösen Schatz Böses hervor.36Ich sage euch aber: Über jedes unnütze Wort, das die Menschen reden, werden sie am Tag des Gerichts Rechenschaft ablegen müssen;37denn aufgrund deiner Worte wirst du freigesprochen und aufgrund deiner Worte wirst du verurteilt werden.
Die Zeichenforderung der Gegner Jesu
38Darauf wandten sich einige Schriftgelehrte und Pharisäer an ihn: Meister, wir möchten von dir ein Zeichen sehen. (Mt 16,1; Mk 8,11; Lk 11,16; Joh 6,30; 1Kor 1,22)39Er antwortete ihnen: Diese böse und treulose Generation fordert ein Zeichen, aber es wird ihr kein Zeichen gegeben werden außer das Zeichen des Propheten Jona.40Denn wie Jona drei Tage und drei Nächte im Bauch des Fisches war, so wird auch der Menschensohn drei Tage und drei Nächte im Schoß der Erde sein. (Jon 2,1)41Die Männer von Ninive werden beim Gericht mit dieser Generation auftreten und sie verurteilen; denn sie sind auf die Botschaft des Jona hin umgekehrt. Und siehe, hier ist mehr als Jona. (Jon 3,5)42Die Königin des Südens wird beim Gericht gegen diese Generation auftreten und sie verurteilen; denn sie kam vom Ende der Erde, um die Weisheit Salomos zu hören. Und siehe, hier ist mehr als Salomo. (1Kön 10,1)
Von der Rückkehr unreiner Geister
43Wenn ein unreiner Geist aus einem Menschen ausfährt, durchwandert er wasserlose Gegenden, um eine Ruhestätte zu suchen, findet aber keine. (Lk 11,24)44Dann sagt er: Ich will in mein Haus zurückkehren, das ich verlassen habe. Und er kommt und findet es leer, sauber und geschmückt.45Dann geht er und nimmt sieben andere Geister mit sich, die noch schlimmer sind als er selbst. Sie ziehen dort ein und lassen sich nieder. Und die letzten Dinge jenes Menschen werden schlimmer sein als die ersten. Dieser bösen Generation wird es genauso gehen.
Über die wahre Familie Jesu
46Als Jesus noch mit den Leuten redete, siehe, da standen seine Mutter und seine Brüder draußen und wollten mit ihm sprechen.[1] (Mk 3,31; Lk 8,19)47Da sagte jemand zu ihm: Siehe, deine Mutter und deine Brüder stehen draußen und wollen mit dir sprechen.48Dem, der ihm das gesagt hatte, erwiderte er: Wer ist meine Mutter und wer sind meine Brüder?49Und er streckte die Hand über seine Jünger aus und sagte: Siehe, meine Mutter und meine Brüder.50Denn wer den Willen meines himmlischen Vaters tut, der ist für mich Bruder und Schwester und Mutter.

Wybrany sługa Boga

Jezus i Belzebub
22Przyprowadzono wtedy do Jezusa człowieka niemego i ślepego—zniewolonego przez demona. Jezus uzdrowił go, przywracając mu wzrok i mowę,23a cały tłum wpadł w podziw, mówiąc: —Czyż On nie jest Mesjaszem, potomkiem króla Dawida?24Gdy faryzeusze dowiedzieli się o tym cudzie, stwierdzili: —Wypędza demony, bo Belzebub, władca demonów, mu w tym pomaga.25—Każde królestwo, które jest wewnętrznie skłócone, upadnie—odparł Jezus, znając ich myśli. —I żadne miasto ani dom nie przetrwają, jeśli panuje w nich niezgoda.26Jeśli szatan wypędza szatana, to zwalcza siebie samego. Jak więc jego królestwo może przetrwać?27Skoro ja wypędzam demony mocą Belzebuba, to dzięki komu robią to wasi synowie? To oni was osądzą!28Lecz jeśli wypędzam demony mocą Ducha Bożego, znaczy to, że przyszło do was królestwo Boże.29Jak można wejść do domu siłacza i okraść go, jeśli się go najpierw nie obezwładni? Dopiero wtedy można zabrać jego rzeczy.30Kto nie jest po mojej stronie, jest przeciwko Mnie. A kto ze Mną nie zbiera, ten rozprasza.31Dlatego ostrzegam: Każdy grzech i bluźnierstwo mogą być przebaczone, lecz bluźnierstwo przeciwko Duchowi Świętemu nie będzie przebaczone!32Jeśli ktoś powiedziałby coś przeciwko Mnie, Synowi Człowieczemu, może otrzymać przebaczenie. Znak Jonasza
38Pewnego dnia kilku przywódców religijnych z ugrupowania faryzeuszy powiedziało do Jezusa: —Nauczycielu! Chcemy, abyś dokonał jakiegoś szczególnego cudu.39—To złe i niewierne Bogu pokolenie domaga się cudu!—odpowiedział Jezus. —Ale nie zobaczy go, z wyjątkiem znaku proroka Jonasza.40Tak jak Jonasz przebywał w brzuchu wielkiej ryby trzy dni i trzy noce, tak też Ja, Syn Człowieczy, pozostanę w ziemi trzy dni i trzy noce.41Mieszkańcy Niniwy podczas sądu wystąpią z oskarżeniem przeciw temu pokoleniu. Bo oni opamiętali się, słuchając Jonasza, a do was mówi ktoś o wiele większy niż on.42Również królowa Południa powstanie na sądzie i oskarży to pokolenie. Ona przybyła z końca świata, by słuchać mądrości Salomona. Wy zaś macie przed sobą kogoś większego niż on.43Jezus kontynuował: —Gdy demon wyjdzie z człowieka, błąka się po pustkowiach, szukając wytchnienia, ale go tam nie znajduje.44Wówczas mówi sobie: „Wrócę do mojego domu, z którego wyszedłem”. Przychodzi więc i widzi, że dom nie jest zajęty, że jest wysprzątany i ozdobiony.45Przyprowadza więc ze sobą siedem innych, gorszych od siebie demonów i razem zamieszkują. A wtedy stan takiego człowieka jest o wiele gorszy niż na początku. Podobnie będzie i z tym złym pokoleniem.
Matka i bracia Jezusa
46Podczas gdy Jezus przemawiał do tłumu, na zewnątrz domu czekała Jego matka i bracia. Chcieli z Nim porozmawiać.47Ktoś powiadomił więc Jezusa: —Twoja matka i bracia czekają na zewnątrz i chcą z Tobą porozmawiać.48—Kto jest moją matką i moimi braćmi?—zapytał Jezus.49I wskazując na uczniów, rzekł: —Oto moja matka i moi bracia!50Moim bratem i siostrą, i matką jest każdy, kto wypełnia wolę mojego Ojca w niebie.
