(Ps 115:17)18Wenn ich sprach: Mein Fuß ist gestrauchelt, so hielt mich, HERR, deine Gnade.19Ich hatte viel Bekümmernis in meinem Herzen, aber deine Tröstungen erquickten meine Seele. (2Co 1:4)20Kann sich mit dir verbünden der Richterstuhl des Verderbens, der Unheil schafft gegen das Gesetz?21Sie rotten sich zusammen wider den Gerechten und verurteilen unschuldiges Blut.22Aber der HERR ist mein Schutz, mein Gott ist der Hort meiner Zuversicht.23Und er wird ihnen ihr Unrecht vergelten / und sie um ihrer Bosheit willen vertilgen; der HERR, unser Gott, wird sie vertilgen.

1Dio delle vendette, o Signore, Dio delle vendette, mòstrati nel tuo fulgore!2Ergiti, giudice della terra, rendi ai superbi quello che si meritano!3Fino a quando gli empi, o Signore, fino a quando gli empi trionferanno?4Fanno discorsi arroganti, tutti i malfattori si vantano.5Schiacciano il tuo popolo, o Signore, e opprimono la tua eredità.6Uccidono la vedova e lo straniero, ammazzano gli orfani.7Dicono: «Il Signore non vede, il Dio di Giacobbe non se ne preoccupa».8Cercate di capire, uomini stolti! E voi, sciocchi, quando sarete saggi?9Colui che ha fatto l’orecchio forse non ode? Colui che ha formato l’occhio forse non vede?10Colui che ammonisce le nazioni non saprà pure castigarle, lui che impartisce all’uomo la conoscenza?11Il Signore conosce i pensieri dell’uomo, sa che sono vani.12Beato l’uomo che tu correggi, o Signore, e istruisci con la tua legge13per dargli sollievo nei giorni dell’avversità, finché la fossa sia scavata per l’empio.14Poiché il Signore non ripudierà il suo popolo e non abbandonerà la sua eredità.15Il giudizio sarà di nuovo conforme a giustizia e tutti i retti di cuore lo seguiranno.16Chi sorgerà per me contro i malvagi? Chi sarà al mio fianco contro i malfattori?17Se il Signore non fosse stato il mio aiuto, a quest’ora l’anima mia abiterebbe il luogo del silenzio.18Quando ho detto: «Il mio piede vacilla», la tua bontà, o Signore, mi ha sostenuto.19Quando ero turbato da grandi preoccupazioni, il tuo conforto ha alleviato l’anima mia.20Il trono dell’ingiustizia ti avrà forse come complice? Esso, che trama oppressioni in nome della legge?21Si avventano insieme contro l’anima del giusto e condannano il sangue innocente.22Ma il Signore è il mio riparo, e il mio Dio è la rocca in cui mi rifugio.23Egli farà ricadere su di essi la loro malvagità e li distruggerà per la loro malizia; il Signore, il nostro Dio, li distruggerà.
