1 The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof,[1] the world and those who dwell therein, (Ex 9:29; Ex 19:5; De 10:14; Job 41:11; Ps 50:12; Ps 89:11; 1Co 10:26) 2 for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers. (Ge 1:9; Job 38:6; Ps 104:5; Ps 136:6; Pr 8:29) 3 Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD? And who shall stand in his holy place? (Ps 2:6; Ps 15:1) 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully. (De 10:12; Job 22:30; Ps 31:6; Ps 73:1; Ps 119:37; Isa 33:15; Isa 33:16; Eze 18:6; Mic 6:8; Mt 5:8) 5 He will receive blessing from the LORD and righteousness from the God of his salvation. (Ge 22:17; Ge 22:18; Ps 27:9; Ps 38:22; Ps 51:14; Ps 88:1; Isa 46:13; Isa 56:1) 6 Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob.[2] Selah (Ps 14:5; Ps 27:8; Ps 105:4) 7 Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. (Ps 118:19; Ps 118:20; Isa 26:2; 1Co 2:8) 8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD, strong and mighty, the LORD, mighty in battle! (Ex 15:3) 9 Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. 10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory! 1 Psaume de David. A l'Éternel la terre et ce qu'elle renferme, Le monde et ceux qui l'habitent! 2 Car il l'a fondée sur les mers, Et affermie sur les fleuves. 3 Qui pourra monter à la montagne de l'Éternel? Qui s'élèvera jusqu'à son lieu saint? - 4 Celui qui a les mains innocentes et le coeur pur; Celui qui ne livre pas son âme au mensonge, Et qui ne jure pas pour tromper. 5 Il obtiendra la bénédiction de l'Éternel, La miséricorde du Dieu de son salut. 6 Voilà le partage de la génération qui l'invoque, De ceux qui cherchent ta face, de Jacob! -Pause. 7 Portes, élevez vos linteaux; Élevez-vous, portes éternelles! Que le roi de gloire fasse son entrée! - 8 Qui est ce roi de gloire? -L'Éternel fort et puissant, L'Éternel puissant dans les combats. 9 Portes, élevez vos linteaux; Élevez-les, portes éternelles! Que le roi de gloire fasse son entrée! - 10 Qui donc est ce roi de gloire? -L'Éternel des armées: Voilà le roi de gloire! -Pause.
