Mahnung zur Bruderliebe – Warnung vor Unzucht und Geldliebe

1 Die Bruderliebe bleibe! (Joh 13,34; 1Petr 3,8) 2 Die Gastfreundschaft vergesst nicht! Denn dadurch haben einige, ohne es zu wissen, Engel beherbergt. (1Mo 18,2; 1Mo 19,2; Röm 12,13) 3 Gedenkt der Gefangenen als Mitgefangene; derer, die geplagt werden, als ⟨solche,⟩ die auch selbst im Leib sind! Mahnung zur Treue in der Nachfolge Jesu

7 Gedenkt eurer Führer, die das Wort Gottes zu euch geredet haben! Schaut den Ausgang ihres Wandels an, und ahmt ihren Glauben nach! (1Thess 3,6) 8 Jesus Christus ⟨ist⟩ derselbe gestern und heute und in Ewigkeit^[3]. (Ps 102,28; Hebr 7,24) 9 Lasst euch nicht fortreißen durch verschiedenartige und fremde Lehren! Denn es ist gut, dass das Herz durch Gnade gefestigt wird, nicht durch Speisen, von denen die keinen Nutzen hatten, die danach wandelten. (Jer 17,9; 1Kor 8,8; Eph 4,14; Hebr 9,10)

10 Wir haben einen Altar, von dem zu essen die kein Recht^[4] haben, die dem Zelt dienen^[5]. 11 Denn die Leiber der Tiere, deren Blut durch den Hohen Priester für die Sünde in das Heiligtum hineingetragen wird, werden außerhalb des Lagers verbrannt. (3Mo 4,12; 3Mo 16,27) 12 Darum hat auch Jesus, um das Volk durch sein eigenes Blut zu heiligen, außerhalb des Tores gelitten. Denn sie wachen über eure Seelen, als solche, die Rechenschaft geben werden, damit sie dies mit Freuden tun und nicht mit Seufzen; denn dies wäre nicht nützlich für euch. 18 Betet für uns! Denn wir sind überzeugt, dass wir ein gutes Gewissen haben, da wir in allem einen guten Wandel zu führen begehren. Aufruf zu christlichem Leben

But the bodies are burned outside the camp. 12 Jesus also suffered outside the city gate. He suffered to make the people holy by spilling his own blood. 13 So let us go to him outside the camp. Let us be willing to suffer the shame he suffered. 14 Here we do not have a city that lasts. But we are looking for the city that is going to come. 15 So let us never stop offering to God our praise through Jesus. Let us talk openly about our faith in him. Then our words will be like an offering to God. 16 Don’t forget to do good. Don’t forget to share with others. God is pleased with those kinds of offerings. 17 Trust in your leaders. Put yourselves under their authority. Do this, because they keep watch over you. They know they are accountable to God for everything they do. Do this, so that their work will be a joy. If you make their work a heavy load, it won’t do you any good. 18 Pray for us. We feel sure we have done what is right. We desire to live as we should in every way. 19 I beg you to pray that I may return to you soon.

20 Our Lord Jesus is the great Shepherd of the sheep. The God who gives peace brought him back from the dead. He did it because of the blood of the eternal covenant.
