CHVÁLU VZDEJTE HOSPODINU, PROTOŽE JE DOBRÝ

1 Haleluja. Chválu vzdejte Hospodinu, protože je dobrý, jeho milosrdenství je věčné. 2 Kdo vylíčí bohatýrské činy Hospodina, kdo rozhlásí všechnu chválu o něm? 3 Blaze těm, kteří se drží práva, tomu, kdo si v každém čase vede spravedlivě. 4 Hospodine, rozpomeň se na mě pro přízeň, jíž lid svůj zahrnuješ, navštiv mě svou spásou, 5 abych směl spatřit dobro tvých vyvolených, abych se radoval radostí národa tvého, abych společně s tvým dědictvím o tobě s chloubou mluvil. 6 Zhřešili jsme už se svými otci, provinili jsme se, svévolně si vedli. 7 Naši otcové v Egyptě nepochopili tvé divy, tvé hojné milosrdenství si nepřipomínali, vzepřeli se při moři, při moři Rákosovém. 8 On však je zachránil pro své jméno, aby v známost uvedl svou bohatýrskou sílu. 9 Obořil se na Rákosové moře a vyschlo, propastnými tůněmi je vedl jako pouští. 10 Zachránil je z rukou toho, kdo je nenáviděl, vykoupil je z rukou nepřítele. 11 Jejich protivníky přikryly vody, nezůstal z nich ani jeden. 12 Tehdy uvěřili jeho slovům, do zpěvu se dali k jeho chvále. 13 Rychle však na jeho činy zapomněli, nečekali trpělivě na jeho pokyn. 14 Chtivostí se dali strhnout v poušti, pokoušeli Boha v pustém kraji. 15 On jim splnil jejich prosbu, ale stihl je pak úbytěmi. 16 V táboře žárlili na Mojžíše, na Árona, jenž byl Hospodinův svatý; 17 tu se rozevřela země, Dátana pohltila a přikryla Abírámův spolek. 18 Proti jejich spolku vyšlehl oheň, svévolníky sežehl plamen. 19 Na Chorébu udělali býčka, klaněli se slité modle, 20 zaměnili svoji Slávu za podobu býka, býložravce. 21 Zapomněli na Boha, svou spásu, který v Egyptě konal tak velké věci, 22 v zemi Chámově úžasné divy, bázeň vzbuzující činy u Rákosového moře. 23 Už vyhlásil jejich vyhlazení, ale Mojžíš, jeho vyvolený, postavil se před ním do trhliny a odvrátil jeho zkázonosné rozhořčení. 24 Přežádoucí zem si zprotivili, nevěřili jeho slovu, 25 žehrali v svých stanech, Hospodina neposlechli. 26 Pozvedl k přísaze proti nim svou ruku, že je v té poušti nechá padnout, 27 že jejich símě rozhodí mezi pronárody, že je rozpráší do všech zemí. 28 Pak se spřáhli s Baal-peórem, jedli při obětních hodech k poctě mrtvých model. 29 Svým jednáním uráželi Hospodina, proto je postihla pohroma. 30 Povstal Pinchas k vykonání soudu, pohroma se zastavila; 31 bylo mu to připočteno jako spravedlnost až navěky, do všech pokolení. 32 U Meribských vod ho rozlítili, kvůli nim zle pochodil i Mojžíš, 33 neboť se vzepřeli jeho duchu, jeho rty pronesly nerozvážnost. 34 Nevyhladili národy, o nichž Hospodin mluvil, 35 smísili se s pronárody, učili se dělat to, co ony. 36 Sloužili jejich modlářským stvůrám a ty se jim staly léčkou; 37 obětovali své syny a své dcery běsům. 38 Nevinnou krev prolévali, krev svých synů a dcer, které obětovali modlářským stvůrám Kenaanu; proléváním krve zhanobili zemi. 39 Tak se poskvrnili svými činy, svým jednáním porušili věrnost. 40 Hospodin vzplál hněvem proti svému lidu, svoje dědictví si zhnusil, 41 vydal je do rukou pronárodů, vládli jim ti, kdo je měli v nenávisti. 42 Utiskovali je jejich nepřátelé, byli jimi pokořeni, dostali se do područí. 43 Mnohokrát je vysvobodil; svými nápady však vzpírali se opět, ale na svou nepravost jen dopláceli. 44 On jejich soužení viděl, slyšel jejich bědování, 45 kvůli nim si připomínal svoji smlouvu, ve svém velkém milosrdenství měl s nimi soucit. 46 Dal jim dojít slitování u všech, kteří je odvlekli do zajetí. 47 Hospodine, zachraň nás, náš Bože, shromáždi nás z pronárodů, tvému svatému jménu budeme vzdávat chválu, budeme tě chválit chvalozpěvem. 48 Požehnán buď Hospodin, Bůh Izraele, od věků až na věky! A všechen lid ať řekne: „Amen.“ Haleluja.

Oslavujte Hospodina, nebo dobrý jest, nebo na věky milosrdenství jeho. 2 Kdo může vymluviti nesmírnou moc Hospodinovu, a vypraviti všecku chválu jeho? 3 Blahoslavení, kteříž ostříhají soudu, a činí spravedlnost každého času. 4 Pamatuj na mne, Hospodine, pro milost k lidu svému, navštěv mne spasením svým, 5 Abych užíval dobrých věcí s vyvolenými tvými, a veselil se veselím národu tvého, a chlubil se spolu s dědictvím tvým. 6 Zhřešili jsme i s otci svými, neprávě jsme činili, a bezbožnost páchali. 7 Otcové naši v Egyptě nerozuměli předivným skutkům tvým, aniž pamatovali na množství milosrdenství tvých, ale odporni byli při moři, při moři Rudém. 8 A však vysvobodil je pro jméno své, aby v známost uvedl moc svou. 9 Nebo přimluvil moři Rudému, a vyschlo; i provedl je skrze hlubiny, jako po poušti. 10 A tak zachoval je od ruky toho, jenž jich nenáviděl, a vyprostil je z ruky nepřítele. 11 V tom přikryly vody ty, kteříž je ssužovali, nezůstalo ani jednoho z nich. 12 A ačkoli věřili slovům jeho, a zpívali chválu jeho, 13 Však rychle zapomenuli na skutky jeho, a nečekali na radu jeho; 14 Ale jati jsouce žádostí na poušti, pokoušeli Boha silného na pustinách. 15 I dal jim, čehož se jim chtělo, a však dopustil hubenost na život jejich. 16 Potom, když horlili proti Mojžíšovi v vojště, a Aronovi, svatému Hospodinovu, 17 Otevřevši se země, požřela Dátana, a přikryla zběř Abironovu. 18 A roznícen byl oheň na rotu jejich, plamen spálil bezbožníky. 19 Udělali i tele na Orébě, a skláněli se slitině. 20 A změnivše slávu svou v podobiznu vola, jenž jí trávu, 21 Zapomněli na Boha silného, spasitele svého, kterýž činil veliké věci v Egyptě. 22 A předivné v zemi Chamově, přehrozné při moři Rudém. 23 Pročež řekl, že je vypléní, kdyby se byl Mojžíš, vyvolený jeho, nepostavil v té mezeře před ním, a neodvrátil prchlivosti jeho, aby nehubil. 24 Za tím zošklivili sobě zemi žádanou, nevěříce slovu jeho. 25 A repcíce v staních svých, neposlouchali hlasu Hospodinova. 26 A protož pozdvihl ruky své proti nim, aby je rozmetal po poušti, 27 A aby rozptýlil símě jejich mezi pohany, a rozehnal je do zemí. 28 Spřáhli se také byli s modlou Belfegor, a jedli oběti mrch. 29 A tak dráždili Boha skutky svými, až se na ně obořila rána, 30 Až se postavil Fínes, a pomstu vykonal, i přetržena jest rána ta. 31 Což jest mu počteno za spravedlnost od národu do pronárodu, a až na věky. 32 Opět ho byli popudili při vodách sváru, až se i Mojžíšovi zle stalo pro ně. 33 Nebo k hořkosti přivedli ducha jeho, a pronesl ji rty svými. 34 K tomu nevyplénili ani národů těch, o kterýchž jim byl Hospodin poručil, 35 Ale směšujíce se s těmi národy, naučili se skutkům jejich, 36 A sloužili modlám jejich, kteréž jim byly osídlem. 37 Obětovali zajisté syny své a dcery své ďáblům. 38 A vylili krev nevinnou, krev synů svých a dcer svých, kteréž obětovali trapidlům Kananejským, tak že poškvrněna jest země těmi vraždami. 39 I zmazali se skutky svými, a smilnili činy svými. 40 Protož rozpáliv se v prchlivosti Hospodin na lid svůj, v ošklivost vzal dědictví své. 41 A vydal je v ruce pohanů. I panovali nad nimi ti, jenž je v nenávisti měli, 42 A utiskali je nepřátelé jejich, tak že sníženi jsou pod ruku jejich. 43 Mnohokrát je vysvobozoval, oni však popouzeli ho radou svou, pročež potlačeni jsou pro nepravost svou. 44 A však patřil na úzkost jejich, a slyšel křik jejich. 45 Nebo se rozpomenul na smlouvu svou s nimi, a želel toho podlé množství milosrdenství svých, 46 Tak že naklonil k nim lítostí všecky, kteříž je u vězení drželi. 47 Zachovej nás, Hospodine Bože náš, a shromažď nás z těch pohanů, abychom slavili jméno tvé svaté, a chlubili se v chvále tvé. 48 Požehnaný Hospodin Bůh Izraelský od věků až na věky. 2 Wer kann die großen Taten des HERRN alle erzählen und sein Lob genug verkündigen? (J 21,25; Žd 11,32) 3 Wohl denen, die das Gebot halten und tun immerdar recht! 4 HERR, gedenke meiner nach der Gnade, die du deinem Volk verheißen hast; erweise an uns deine Hilfe, 5 dass wir sehen das Heil deiner Auserwählten und uns freuen, dass es deinem Volke so gut geht, und uns rühmen mit denen, die dein Eigen sind. 6 Wir haben gesündigt samt unsern Vätern, wir haben unrecht getan und sind gottlos gewesen. (Ř 1,23) 21 Sie vergaßen Gott, ihren Heiland, der so große Dinge in Ägypten getan hatte, (Dt 32,18) 22 Wunder im Lande Hams und schreckliche Wunder am Schilfmeer. 23 Und er gedachte, sie zu vertilgen, wäre nicht Mose gewesen, sein Auserwählter; der trat vor ihm in die Bresche, seinen Grimm abzuwenden, dass er sie nicht verderbe. (Dt 9,25) 24 Und sie achteten das köstliche Land gering; sie glaubten seinem Worte nicht (Dt 8,7) 25 und murrten in ihren Zelten; sie gehorchten der Stimme des HERRN nicht. 26 Da erhob er seine Hand wider sie, dass er sie niederschlüge in der Wüste 27 und würfe ihre Nachkommen unter die Völker und zerstreute sie in die Länder. 28 Und sie hängten sich an den Baal-Peor und aßen von den Opfern für die Toten (Nu 25,3) 29 und erzürnten den Herrn mit ihrem Tun. Da brach die Plage herein über sie. 30 Da trat Pinhas hinzu und vollzog das Gericht; da wurde der Plage gewehrt; (Nu 25,7) 31 das wurde ihm gerechnet zur Gerechtigkeit von Geschlecht zu Geschlecht ewiglich. 32 Und sie erzürnten den Herrn am Haderwasser, und Mose ging es übel um ihretwillen; (Nu 20,2) 33 denn sie erbitterten seinen Sinn, dass ihm unbedachte Worte entfuhren. 34 Auch vertilgten sie die Völker nicht, wie ihnen der HERR doch geboten hatte, (Dt 7,1; Dt 12,2; Sd 1,28; Sd 2,23)

35 sondern vermischten sich mit den Heiden und lernten ihre Werke 36 und dienten ihren Götzen; die wurden ihnen zum Fallstrick. 37 Und sie opferten ihre Söhne und ihre Töchter den bösen Geistern (Lv 18,21; 2Kr 21,6; 2Kr 21,16) 38 und vergossen unschuldig Blut, das Blut ihrer Söhne und Töchter, die sie opferten den Götzen Kanaans, sodass das Land mit Blutschuld befleckt ward. 39 Sie machten sich unrein mit ihren Werken und wurden abtrünnig durch ihr Tun. 40 Da entbrannte der Zorn des HERRN über sein Volk, und sein Erbe wurde ihm zum Abscheu. 41 Er gab sie in die Hand der Völker, dass über sie herrschten, die ihnen gram waren. (Sd 2,14) 42 Und ihre Feinde bedrängten sie, und sie wurden gedemütigt unter ihre Hand. 43 Er errettete sie oftmals; / aber sie erzürnten ihn mit ihrem Vorhaben und schwanden dahin um ihrer Missetat willen. 44 Da sah er ihre Not an, als er ihre Klage hörte, 45 und gedachte um ihretwillen an seinen Bund, und es reute ihn nach seiner großen Güte. 46 Und er ließ sie Barmherzigkeit finden bei allen, die sie gefangen hielten. 47 Hilf uns, HERR, unser Gott, und bring uns zusammen aus den Völkern, dass wir preisen deinen heiligen Namen und uns rühmen, dass wir dich loben können! (Dt 30,3; 1Pa 16,35) 48 Gelobt sei der HERR, der Gott Israels, von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit, und alles Volk spreche: Amen! Halleluja! (1Pa 16,36; Ž 41,14)
