CHVÁLU VZDEJTE HOSPODINU A VZÝVEJTE JEHO JMÉNO

1 Chválu vzdejte Hospodinu a vzývejte jeho jméno, uvádějte národům ve známost jeho skutky, 2 zpívejte mu, pějte žalmy, přemýšlejte o všech jeho divech, 3 honoste se jeho svatým jménem, ať se zaraduje srdce těch, kteří hledají Hospodina! 4 Dotazujte se na vůli Hospodinovu a jeho moc, jeho tvář hledejte ustavičně. 5 Připomínejte divy, jež vykonal, jeho zázraky a rozsudky jeho úst, 6 potomkové Abrahama, jeho služebníka, Jákobovi synové, jeho vyvolení! 7 Je to Hospodin, náš Bůh, kdo soudí celou zemi. 8 Věčně pamatuje na svou smlouvu, na slovo, jež přikázal tisícům pokolení. 9 Uzavřeli ji s Abrahamem, přísahou ji stvrdil Izákovi, 10 stanovil ji Jákobovi jako nařízení, Izraeli jako smlouvu věčnou: 11 „Dám ti kenaanskou zemi za dědičný úděl!“ 12 Na počet jich byla malá hrstka, byli tam jen hosty. 13 Putovali od jednoho pronároda ke druhému, z jednoho království dál k jinému lidu. 14 On však nedovolil nikomu, aby je utlačoval, káral kvůli nim i krále: 15 „Nesahejte na mé pomazané, ublížit mým prorokům se chraňte!“ 16 Než přivolal na zemi hlad, než každou hůl chleba zlomil, 17 vyslal už před nimi muže, Josefa, který byl prodán do otroctví. 18 Sevřeli mu nohy do okovů, do želez se dostal, 19 až do chvíle, kdy došlo na jeho slovo, když řeč Hospodinova ho protříbila. 20 Poslal pro něj král a pout ho zbavil, vládce národů ho osvobodil. 21 Učinil ho pánem svého domu, vládcem veškerého svého jmění, 22 aby jeho velmože k sobě připoutal a moudrosti učil jeho starce. 23 Pak přišel Izrael do Egypta, v zemi Chámově byl Jákob hostem. 24 Hospodin velice rozplodil svůj lid, dopřál mu, aby zdatností předčil protivníky, 25 jejichž srdce změnil, takže začali jeho lid nenávidět a záludně jednat s jeho služebníky. 26 Poslal k nim Mojžíše, svého služebníka, s Áronem, jehož si zvolil. 27 Jeho znamení jim předváděli, zázraky v Chámově zemi. 28 Seslal temnotu a zatmělo se, a nikdo se neodvážil vzepřít jeho slovu. 29 Jejich vody proměnil v krev, ryby nechal leknout. 30 V zemi se jim vyrojila žabí havěť, nalezla i do královských komnat. 31 Rozkázal a přiletěly mouchy a na celé jejich území komáři. 32 Přívaly dešťů jim změnil v krupobití, ohnivými plameny bil jejich zemi. 33 Potloukl jim vinice a fíkovníky, v jejich území polámal stromy. 34 Rozkázal a snesly se kobylky, nesčetné roje žravého hmyzu. 35 Sežraly jim vše, co v zemi rostlo, sežraly jim plody polí. 36 Všechno prvorozené jim v zemi pobil, každou prvotinu jejich plodné síly. 37 Ale své vyvedl se stříbrem a zlatem, nikdo z jejich kmenů neklopýtl. 38 Egypt se radoval, že už táhnou, neboť strach z nich na něj padl. 39 Jako závěs rozestíral oblak, ohněm svítíval jim v noci. 40 Žádali a přihnal jim křepelky, chlebem nebeským je sytil. 41 Otevřel skálu a vody tekly proudem, valily se jako řeka vyprahlými kraji. 42 Neboť pamatoval na své svaté slovo a na Abrahama, svého služebníka. 43 Vyvedl svůj lid – a veselili se, svoje vyvolené – a plesali. 44 Daroval jim země pronárodů, výsledek námahy národů obdrželi, 45 aby dbali na jeho nařízení a zachovávali jeho zákony. 1 Dankt dem HERRN! Ruft seinen Namen aus! Macht unter den Völkern seine Taten bekannt! (1Pa 16,8; Ž 108,4) 2 Singt ihm und spielt ihm, sinnt nach über all seine Wunder! 3 Rühmt euch seines heiligen Namens! Die den HERRN suchen, sollen sich von Herzen freuen. (Dt 4,29) 4 Fragt nach dem HERRN und seiner Macht, sucht sein Angesicht allezeit! (Ž 27,8) 5 Gedenkt der Wunder, die er getan hat, seiner Zeichen und der Beschlüsse seines Munds! 6 Ihr Nachkommen seines Knechts Abraham, ihr Kinder Jakobs, die er erwählt hat. 7 Er, der HERR, ist unser Gott. (1Pa 16,8) 2 Singet ihm und spielet ihm, redet von allen seinen Wundern! 3 Rühmet seinen heiligen Namen; es freue sich das Herz derer, die den HERRN suchen! 4 Fraget nach dem HERRN und nach seiner Macht, suchet sein Antlitz allezeit! 5 Gedenket seiner Wunderwerke, die er getan hat, seiner Zeichen und der Urteile seines Mundes, 6 du Geschlecht Abrahams, seines Knechts, ihr Söhne Jakobs, seine Auserwählten! 7 Er ist der HERR, unser Gott, er richtet in aller Welt. 8 Er gedenkt ewiglich an seinen Bund, an das Wort, das er verheißen hat für tausend Geschlechter, (Dt 7,9) 9 an den Bund, den er geschlossen hat mit Abraham, und an den Eid, den er Isaak geschworen hat. 10 Er stellte ihn auf für Jakob als Satzung und für Israel als ewigen Bund 11 und sprach: »Dir will ich das Land Kanaan geben, das Los eures Erbteils«, (Gn 13,15) 12 als sie gering waren an Zahl, nur wenige und Fremdlinge im Lande. 13 Und sie zogen von Volk zu Volk, von einem Königreich zum andern. 14 Er ließ keinen Menschen ihnen Schaden tun und wies Könige zurecht um ihretwillen: (Nu 23,7) 15 »Tastet meine Gesalbten nicht an, und tut meinen Propheten kein Leid!« 16 Und er rief den Hunger ins Land und nahm weg allen Vorrat an Brot. (Gn 41,54) 17 Er sandte einen Mann vor ihnen hin; Josef wurde als Knecht verkauft. (Gn 37,28) 18 Sie zwangen seine Füße in Fesseln, sein Hals wurde in Eisen gelegt, 19 bis sein Wort eintraf und die Rede des HERRN ihm recht gab. 20 Da sandte der König hin und ließ ihn losbinden, der Herrscher über Völker, er gab ihn frei. (Gn 41,14) 21 Er setzte ihn zum Herrn über sein Haus, zum Herrscher über alle seine Güter, 22 dass er seine Fürsten unterwiese nach seinem Willen und seine Ältesten Weisheit lehrte. 23 Und Israel zog nach Ägypten, Jakob ward ein Fremdling im Lande Hams. (Gn 46,1; Gn 46,7) 24 Und der Herr ließ sein Volk sehr wachsen und machte sie mächtiger als ihre Feinde. (Ex 1,7; Ex 1,12) 25 Diesen verwandelte er das Herz, / dass sie seinem Volk gram wurden und Arglist übten an seinen Knechten. 26 Er sandte seinen Knecht Mose und Aaron, den er erwählt hatte. (Ex 3,10; Ex 4,14) 27 Die taten seine Zeichen unter ihnen und seine Wunder im Lande Hams. (Ex 7,1) 28 Er sandte Finsternis und machte es finster; doch sie blieben ungehorsam seinen Worten. 29 Er verwandelte ihre Wasser in Blut und tötete ihre Fische. 30 Ihr Land wimmelte von Fröschen bis in die Kammern ihrer Könige. 31 Er gebot, da kam Ungeziefer, Stechmücken in all ihr Gebiet. 32 Er gab ihnen Hagel statt Regen, Feuerflammen in ihrem Lande 33 und schlug ihre Weinstöcke und Feigenbäume und zerbrach die Bäume in ihrem Gebiet. 34 Er gebot, da kamen Heuschrecken und Käfer ohne Zahl; 35 sie fraßen alles Gras in ihrem Lande, und fraßen auch die Frucht ihres Ackers. 36 Er schlug alle Erstgeburt in Ägypten, alle Erstlinge ihrer Kraft. 37 Er führte sie heraus mit Silber und Gold; es war kein Gebrechlicher unter ihren Stämmen. (Ex 12,35) 38 Ägypten wurde froh, dass sie auszogen; denn Furcht vor ihnen war auf sie gefallen. 39 Er breitete eine Wolke aus, sie zu decken, und ein Feuer, die Nacht zu erleuchten. (Ex 13,21; Ex 14,20) 40 Sie baten, da ließ er Wachteln kommen, und er sättigte sie mit Himmelsbrot. (Ex 16,13) 41 Er öffnete den Felsen, da strömten Wasser heraus, sie flossen dahin als Strom in der Wüste. (Ex 17,6) 42 Denn er gedachte an sein heiliges Wort und an Abraham, seinen Knecht. 43 So führte er sein Volk in Freuden heraus und seine Auserwählten mit Jubel 44 und gab ihnen die Länder der Völker, dass sie die Güter der Nationen gewannen, 45 damit sie hielten seine Gebote und seine Gesetze bewahrten.
