Pátá kniha žalmů - CHVÁLU VZDEJTE HOSPODINU, PROTOŽE JE DOBRÝ

1 Chválu vzdejte Hospodinu, protože je dobrý, jeho milosrdenství je věčné! 2 Tak ať řeknou ti, kdo byli Hospodinem vykoupeni, ti, které vykoupil z rukou protivníka, 3 které shromáždil ze všech zemí, od východu, od západu, severu i moře. 4 Bloudili pouští, cestou pustin, město sídla Božího však nenalezli. 5 Žíznili a hladověli, byli v duši skleslí. 6 A když ve svém soužení úpěli k Hospodinu, vytrhl je z tísně: 7 sám je vedl přímou cestou, aby došli k městu jeho sídla. 8 Ti ať vzdají Hospodinu chválu za milosrdenství a za divy, jež pro lidi koná: 9 dosyta dal najíst lačným, hladovým dal plno dobrých věcí. 10 Seděli v temnotách šeré smrti, v železných poutech a v ponížení, 11 neboť se vzepřeli tomu, co řekl Bůh, znevážili úradek Nejvyššího. 12 Trápením pokořil jejich srdce, klesali, a nikde žádná pomoc. 13 A když ve svém soužení úpěli k Hospodinu, zachránil je z tísně: 14 vyvedl je z temnot šeré smrti, sám zpřetrhal jejich pouta. 15 Ti ať vzdají Hospodinu chválu za milosrdenství a za divy, jež pro lidi koná: 16 rozrazil bronzová vrata, železné závory zlomil. 17 Pošetilci pro svou cestu nevěrnosti, pro své nepravosti byli pokořeni. 18 Každý pokrm se jim hnusil, dospěli až k branám smrti. 19 A když ve svém soužení úpěli k Hospodinu, zachránil je z tísně: 20 seslal slovo své a uzdravil je, zachránil je z jámy. 21 Ti ať vzdají Hospodinu chválu za milosrdenství a za divy, jež pro lidi koná, 22 ať mu obětují oběť díků, ať s plesáním vypravují o všech jeho skutcích. 23 Ti, kteří se vydávají na lodích na moře, kdo konají dílo na nesmírných vodách, 24 spatřili Hospodinovy skutky, jeho divy na hlubině. 25 Poručil a povstal bouřný vichr, jenž do výše zvedl vlnobití. 26 Vznášeli se k nebi, řítili se do propastných tůní, ztráceli v té spoušti hlavu. 27 V závrati jak opilí se potáceli, s celou svou moudrostí byli v koncích. 28 A když ve svém soužení úpěli k Hospodinu, vyvedl je z tísně: 29 utišil tu bouři, ztichlo vlnobití. 30 Zaradovali se, když se uklidnilo, on pak je dovedl do přístavu, jak si přáli. 31 Ti ať vzdají Hospodinu chválu za milosrdenství a za divy, jež pro lidi koná, 32 ať ho vyvyšují v shromáždění lidu, v zasedání starších ať ho chválí! 33 Řeky mění v poušť a vodní zřídla v suchopáry, 34 v solné pláně žírnou zemi pro zlobu těch, kdo v ní sídlí. 35 Poušť v jezero mění a zem vyprahlou ve vodní zřídla. 36 Tam usadil ty, kdo hladověli, zbudovali město, sídlo Boží. 37 Pole oseli, vinice vysázeli, sklidili úrodu hojnou. 38 Žehnal jim a velmi se rozrostli, ani dobytka jim neubylo. 39 Jich však ubývalo, ohýbali se pod tíhou zla a strastí, 40 když je ten, jenž může vylít opovržení i na knížata, zavedl do bezcestných pustot. 41 Avšak ubožáku se stal v ponížení hradem a čeledi lidu rozmnožil jak ovce. 42 Přímí lidé to vidí a radují se, ale každá podlost musí zavřít ústa. 43 Kdo je moudrý, ať dbá těchto věcí a Hospodinovu milosrdenství ať hledí porozumět!

1 Oslavujte Hospodina, nebo jest dobrý, nebo na věky milosrdenství jeho. 2 Nechť o tom vypravují ti, kteříž jsou vykoupeni skrze Hospodina, jak je on vykoupil z ruky těch, kteříž je ssužovali, 3 A shromáždil je z zemí, od východu a od západu, od půlnoci i od moře. 4 Bloudili po poušti, po cestách pustých, města k přebývání nenacházejíce. 5 Hladovití a žízniví byli, až v nich svadla duše jejich. 6 Když volali k Hospodinu v ssoužení svém, z úzkostí jejich vytrhl je, 7 A vedl je po cestě přímé, aby přišli do města k bydlení. 8 Nechať oslavují před Hospodinem milosrdenství jeho, a divné skutky jeho před syny lidskými, 9 Poněvadž napájí duši žíznivou, a duši hladovitou naplňuje dobrými věcmi. 10 Kteříž sedí ve tmě a v stínu smrti, sevříni jsouce bídou i železy, 11 Protože odporni byli řečem Boha silného, a radou Nejvyššího pohrdli. 12 Pročež ponížil bídou srdce jejich, padli, a nebylo pomocníka. 13 Když volají k Hospodinu v ssoužení svém, z úzkostí je vysvobozuje. 14 Vyvodí je z temností a stínu smrti, a svazky jejich trhá. 15 Nechať oslavují před Hospodinem milosrdenství jeho, a divné skutky jeho před syny lidskými, 16 Poněvadž láme brány měděné, a závory železné posekává. 17 Blázni pro cestu převrácenosti své, a pro nepravosti své v trápení bývají. 18 Oškliví se jim všeliký pokrm, až se i k branám smrti přibližují. 19 Když volají k Hospodinu v ssoužení svém, z úzkostí jejich je vysvobozuje. 20 Posílá slovo své, a uzdravuje je, a vysvobozuje je z hrobu. 21 Nechať oslavují před Hospodinem milosrdenství jeho, a divné skutky jeho před syny lidskými, 22 A obětujíce oběti chvály, ať vypravují skutky jeho s prozpěvováním. 23 Kteří se plaví po moři na lodech, pracujíce na velikých vodách, 24 Tiť vídají skutky Hospodinovy, a divy jeho v hlubokosti. 25 Jakž jen dí, hned se strhne vítr bouřlivý, a dme vlny mořské. 26 Vznášejí se k nebi, sstupují do propasti, duše jejich v nebezpečenství rozplývá se. 27 Motají se a nakloňují jako opilý, a všecko umění jejich mizí. 28 Když volají k Hospodinu v ssoužení svém, z úzkostí jejich je vysvobozuje. 29 Proměňuje bouři v utišení, tak že umlkne vlnobití jejich. 30 I veselí se, že utichlo; a tak přivodí je k břehu žádostivému. 31 Nechať oslavují před Hospodinem milosrdenství jeho, a divné skutky jeho před syny lidskými. 32 Nechť ho vyvyšují v shromáždění lidu, a v radě starců chválí jej. 33 Obrací řeky v poušť, a prameny vod v suchost, 34 Zemi úrodnou v slatinnou, pro zlost obyvatelů jejích. 35 Pustiny obrací v jezera, a zemi vyprahlou v prameny vod. 36 I osazuje na ní hladovité, aby stavěli města k bydlení. 37 Kteříž osívají pole, a dělají vinice, a shromažďují sobě užitek úrody. 38 Takť on jim žehná, že se rozmnožují velmi, a dobytka jejich neumenšuje. 39 A někdy pak umenšeni a sníženi bývají ukrutenstvím, bídou a truchlostí, 40 Když vylévá pohrdání na knížata, dopouštěje, aby bloudili po poušti bezcestné. 41 Onť vyzdvihuje nuzného z trápení, a rozmnožuje rodinu jako stádo. 42 Nechť to spatřují upřímí, a rozveselí se, ale všeliká nepravost ať zacpá ústa svá. 43 Ale kdo jest tak moudrý, aby toho šetřil, a vyrozumíval mnohému milosrdenství Hospodinovu?

1 Dankt dem HERRN, denn er ist gut, denn seine Huld währt ewig. (Ž 106,1; Ž 118,1; Ž 136,1) 2 So sollen sprechen die vom HERRN Erlösten, die er erlöst hat aus der Hand des Bedrängers. 3 Er hat sie aus den Ländern gesammelt,/ vom Aufgang und vom Untergang, von Norden und vom Meer her. (Iz 43,5) 4 Sie, die umherirrten in der Wüste, im Ödland, und den Weg zur bewohnten Stadt nicht fanden, (Dt 8,15) 5 die Hunger litten und Durst, denen das Leben dahinschwand. (L 1,53) 10 Die da sitzen mussten in Finsternis und Dunkel, gefangen in Zwang und Eisen, 11 weil sie Gottes Worten ungehorsam waren und den Ratschluss des Höchsten verachtet hatten, 12 sodass er ihr Herz durch Unglück beugte und sie stürzten und ihnen niemand half, 13 die dann zum HERRN riefen in ihrer Not und er half ihnen aus ihren Ängsten 14 und führte sie aus Finsternis und Dunkel und zerriss ihre Bande: 15 Die sollen dem HERRN danken für seine Güte / und für seine Wunder, die er an den Menschenkindern tut, 16 dass er zerbrach eherne Türen und zerschlug eiserne Riegel. 17 Die Toren, die geplagt waren um ihrer Übertretung und um ihrer Sünde willen, 18 dass ihnen ekelte vor aller Speise und sie nahe waren den Pforten des Todes, 19 die dann zum HERRN riefen in ihrer Not und er half ihnen aus ihren Ängsten, 20 er sandte sein Wort und machte sie gesund und errettete sie, dass sie nicht starben: 21 Die sollen dem HERRN danken für seine Güte / und für seine Wunder, die er an den Menschenkindern tut, 22 und sollen Dank opfern und erzählen seine Werke mit Freuden. 23 Die mit Schiffen auf dem Meere fuhren und trieben ihren Handel auf großen Wassern, 24 die des HERRN Werke erfahren haben und seine Wunder im Meer, 25 wenn er sprach und einen Sturmwind erregte, der die Wellen erhob, (Ž 104,4; Jon 1,4) 26 und sie gen Himmel fuhren und in den Abgrund sanken, dass ihre Seele vor Angst verzagte, 27 dass sie taumelten und wankten wie ein Trunkener und wussten keinen Rat mehr, 28 die dann zum HERRN schrien in ihrer Not und er führte sie aus ihren Ängsten 29 und stillte das Ungewitter, dass die Wellen sich legten 30 und sie froh wurden, dass es still geworden war und er sie zum ersehnten Hafen brachte: 31 Die sollen dem HERRN danken für seine Güte / und für seine Wunder, die er an den Menschenkindern tut, 32 und ihn in der Gemeinde preisen und bei den Alten rühmen. 33 Er machte Ströme zur Wüste und Wasserquellen zum öden Land, 34 dass fruchtbares Land zur Salzwüste wurde wegen der Bosheit derer, die dort wohnten. (Gn 19,24) 35 Er machte das Trockene wieder wasserreich und gab dem dürren Lande Wasserquellen (Iz 41,18) 36 und ließ die Hungrigen dort bleiben, dass sie eine Stadt bauten, in der sie wohnen konnten, 37 und Äcker besäten und Weinberge pflanzten, die reichlich Früchte trugen. 38 Und er segnete sie, dass sie sich sehr mehrten, und gab ihnen viel Vieh. 39 Aber sie wurden gering an Zahl und geschwächt von der Last des Unglücks und des Kummers. 40 Er schüttete Verachtung aus auf die Fürsten und ließ sie irren in der Wüste, wo kein Weg ist; (Jb 12,21) 41 aber die Armen schützte er vor Elend und mehrte ihre Geschlechter wie eine Herde. 42 Das werden die Aufrichtigen sehen und sich freuen, und aller Bosheit wird das Maul gestopft werden. (Jb 22,19) 43 Wer ist weise und behält dies? Der wird merken, wie viel Wohltaten der HERR erweist.
