1A Maskil[1] of Asaph. Give ear, O my people, to my teaching; incline your ears to the words of my mouth! (Пс 49:1; Пс 50:1; Пс 50:7; Ис 51:4)2I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings from of old, (Чис 21:27; Пс 49:4; Мт 13:35)3things that we have heard and known, that our fathers have told us. (Пс 44:1)4We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done. (Изх 12:26; Изх 13:8; Изх 13:14; Вт 11:19; И Н 4:6; Йов 15:18; Пс 78:11; Пс 78:32; Йоил 1:3)5He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers to teach to their children, (Пс 19:7; Пс 81:5; Пс 147:19)6that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children, (Пс 78:4; Пс 102:18)7so that they should set their hope in God and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments; (Пс 77:12; Пс 105:45)8and that they should not be like their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation whose heart was not steadfast, whose spirit was not faithful to God. (Пс 78:4; Пс 106:13)12In the sight of their fathers he performed wonders in the land of Egypt, in the fields of Zoan. (Пс 105:39)15He split rocks in the wilderness and gave them drink abundantly as from the deep. (Изх 17:6; Пс 78:20; Пс 105:41; Пс 114:8; Ис 48:21)16He made streams come out of the rock and caused waters to flow down like rivers. (Чис 20:8; Чис 20:10)17Yet they sinned still more against him, rebelling against the Most High in the desert. (Вт 9:22; Пс 78:40; Пс 78:56; Ис 63:10)18They tested God in their heart by demanding the food they craved. (Вт 6:16; Пс 78:41; Пс 78:56; Пс 95:9; Пс 106:14; 1 Кор 10:9)19They spoke against God, saying, “Can God spread a table in the wilderness? (Изх 16:3; Чис 11:4; Чис 20:3; Чис 21:5; Пс 23:5)20He struck the rock so that water gushed out and streams overflowed. Can he also give bread or provide meat for his people?” (Пс 78:15)21Therefore, when the Lord heard, he was full of wrath; a fire was kindled against Jacob; his anger rose against Israel, (Чис 11:1)22because they did not believe in God and did not trust his saving power. (Пс 78:8; Пс 78:32; Пс 78:37)23Yet he commanded the skies above and opened the doors of heaven, (Бит 7:11; Мал 3:10)24and he rained down on them manna to eat and gave them the grain of heaven. (Пс 78:63; Ис 10:16)32In spite of all this, they still sinned; despite his wonders, they did not believe. (Чис 14:11; Пс 78:22)33So he made their days vanish like[3] a breath,[4] and their years in terror. (Чис 14:29; Чис 14:35; Чис 26:64; Пс 39:5)34When he killed them, they sought him; they repented and sought God earnestly. (Ос 5:15)35They remembered that God was their rock, the Most High God their redeemer. (Изх 15:13; Вт 32:4; Вт 32:15; Вт 32:31; Пс 74:2)36But they flattered him with their mouths; they lied to him with their tongues. (Ис 29:13; Ис 57:11; Ез 33:31)37Their heart was not steadfast toward him; they were not faithful to his covenant. (Пс 51:10; Пс 78:8)38Yet he, being compassionate, atoned for their iniquity and did not destroy them; he restrained his anger often and did not stir up all his wrath. (Изх 34:6; Чис 14:20)39He remembered that they were but flesh, a wind that passes and comes not again. (Бит 6:3; Йов 7:7; Йов 10:9; Пс 103:14)40How often they rebelled against him in the wilderness and grieved him in the desert! (Пс 78:17; Пс 78:56; Пс 106:14; Пс 107:11; Еф 4:30)41They tested God again and again and provoked the Holy One of Israel. (Пс 71:22; Пс 78:18)42They did not remember his power[5] or the day when he redeemed them from the foe, (Съд 8:34)43when he performed his signs in Egypt and his marvels in the fields of Zoan. (Изх 4:21; Изх 7:3; Изх 11:9; Пс 78:12; Пс 105:27; Пс 106:22; Д А 7:36)44He turned their rivers to blood, so that they could not drink of their streams. (Изх 7:17)45He sent among them swarms of flies, which devoured them, and frogs, which destroyed them. (Изх 8:2; Изх 8:21)46He gave their crops to the destroying locust and the fruit of their labor to the locust. (Изх 10:12)47He destroyed their vines with hail and their sycamores with frost. (Изх 9:23)48He gave over their cattle to the hail and their flocks to thunderbolts. (Изх 9:19)49He let loose on them his burning anger, wrath, indignation, and distress, a company of destroying angels. (Изх 12:13; Изх 12:23; 2 Цар 24:16)50He made a path for his anger; he did not spare them from death, but gave their lives over to the plague.51He struck down every firstborn in Egypt, the firstfruits of their strength in the tents of Ham. (Изх 12:29; Пс 105:23; Пс 105:27; Пс 105:36; Пс 106:22; Пс 135:8; Пс 136:10)52Then he led out his people like sheep and guided them in the wilderness like a flock. (Пс 77:20)53He led them in safety, so that they were not afraid, but the sea overwhelmed their enemies. (Изх 14:13; Изх 14:19; Изх 14:27; Изх 15:10)54And he brought them to his holy land, to the mountain which his right hand had won. (Изх 15:17; Пс 68:16; Пс 74:2; Ис 11:9; Ис 57:13)55He drove out nations before them; he apportioned them for a possession and settled the tribes of Israel in their tents. (И Н 23:4; Пс 44:2; Пс 135:12; Пс 136:21; Д А 13:19)56Yet they tested and rebelled against the Most High God and did not keep his testimonies, (Съд 2:11; Пс 78:18; Пс 78:40)57but turned away and acted treacherously like their fathers; they twisted like a deceitful bow. (Пс 78:9; Ос 7:16)58For they provoked him to anger with their high places; they moved him to jealousy with their idols. (Лев 26:30; Чис 25:11; Вт 7:5; Вт 7:25; Вт 12:2; Вт 12:3; Вт 31:29; Вт 32:16; Вт 32:21; Съд 2:12; 3 Цар 11:7; 3 Цар 12:31; Ез 20:28)59When God heard, he was full of wrath, and he utterly rejected Israel. (Вт 3:26; Пс 78:62; Пс 106:40)60He forsook his dwelling at Shiloh, the tent where he dwelt among mankind, (И Н 18:1; 1 Цар 4:11; Ер 7:12; Ер 7:14; Ер 26:6)61and delivered his power to captivity, his glory to the hand of the foe. (1 Цар 4:21; Пс 63:2; Пс 96:6; Пс 132:8)62He gave his people over to the sword and vented his wrath on his heritage. (1 Цар 4:10; Пс 78:59)63Fire devoured their young men, and their young women had no marriage song. (Пс 79:5; Пс 89:46; Ер 7:34)64Their priests fell by the sword, and their widows made no lamentation. (1 Цар 4:11; Йов 27:15)65Then the Lord awoke as from sleep, like a strong man shouting because of wine. (Пс 35:23; Пс 73:20)66And he put his adversaries to rout; he put them to everlasting shame. (Пс 40:14)67He rejected the tent of Joseph; he did not choose the tribe of Ephraim, (Пс 80:1; Пс 81:5)68but he chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion, which he loves. (Пс 87:2)69He built his sanctuary like the high heavens, like the earth, which he has founded forever.70He chose David his servant and took him from the sheepfolds; (1 Цар 16:12)71from following the nursing ewes he brought him to shepherd Jacob his people, Israel his inheritance. (1 Цар 10:1; 2 Цар 5:2; 2 Цар 7:8; Пс 28:9)72With upright heart he shepherded them and guided them with his skillful hand. (3 Цар 9:4; Пс 77:20; Пс 101:2)
