31 Because he has despised the word of the Lord and has broken his commandment, that person shall be utterly cut off; his iniquity shall be on him.” (2Sa 12:9; 2Ch 36:16; Pr 13:13) 

New International Version

31 Because they have despised the Lord’s word and broken his commands, they must surely be cut off; their guilt remains on them.” ’

31 They have not respected what the LORD has said. They have broken the LORD’s commands. They must certainly be separated from the community. They are still guilty.” ’
