English Standard Version

5 The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Ge 8:21; Job 14:4; Job 15:14; Ps 14:2; Ps 51:5; Jer 17:9; Mt 15:19; Ro 3:23) 

New International Version

5 The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. 

New International Reader’s Version

5 The LORD saw how bad the sins of everyone on earth had become. They only thought about evil things. 

King James Version

5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
