English Standard Version

6 And the Lord regretted that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart. (Nu 23:19; 1Sa 15:11; 1Sa 15:29; 2Sa 24:16; Isa 63:10; Joe 2:13; Eph 4:30) 

New International Version

6 The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. 

New International Reader’s Version

6 The LORD was very sad that he had made human beings on the earth. His heart was filled with pain. 

King James Version

6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
