1Wenn diese letzte Zeit der Erde kommt, wird Gott mit seinen besten Waffen ankommen und den fiesen Gegner aufs Korn nehmen. Diese schleimige Schlange, die sich immer überall rausgewunden hat, und dieses komische Monsterkrokodil wird er dann abschlachten.2Wenn das passiert, wird man überall sagen: „O ja, ich habe einen so schönen Weinberg! Lasst uns ein paar Lieder über den schreiben!3Ich, Gott höchstpersönlich, pass auf ihn auf, jeden Augenblick, damit ihm nichts passiert. Ich schieb dort 24 Stunden Schichten.4Ich bin null sauer. Aber wenn ich ein paar Disteln oder Brennnesseln finden würde, ich würde sie alle rausreißen und verbrennen.5Es sei denn, sie wollen sich von mir beschützen lassen, sie wollen mit mir Frieden machen.“6Dann wird eine Zeit kommen, wo die Familie Jakob, das Volk Israel sich wieder fest im Land von Israel ansiedeln wird. Sie werden sich ganz krass vermehren, sie werden aufblühen wie eine Blume. Die Leute von Israel werden überall auf der Erde vertreten sein und dort von dem leben, was durch ihre Arbeit reinkommt.7Hat Gott seine Leute genauso geschlagen, wie er den anderen Nationen eine geklatscht hat, die ätzend mit ihm umgegangen sind? Hat er sie genauso getötet wie ihre Mörder?8Nein, Gott, du hast es langsam angehen lassen. Du hast sie verklagt und sie dann gerecht bestraft, indem du sie verstoßen hast. Du hast sie rausgeschmissen, mit deinem heftigen Atemzug hast du sie einfach weggepustet, gerade als der Ostwind aufkam.9Der ganze Mist von den Israeliten wird sich dann erledigt haben. Das ist die logische Folge, wenn der ganze Mist weggenommen wird, den sie zwischen sich und Gott aufgeschichtet haben. Sie müssen die ganzen Gebäude und Tempel von diesen Plastikgöttern wegsprengen. Die Statuen dieser komischen Pseudogöttin Aschera müssen in den Schredder und zu Kleinholz verarbeitet werden, damit es die nie wieder gibt.10Die große Stadt mit ihren hohen Schutzmauern ist wie leer gefegt. Kein Schwein wohnt da mehr, sie ist verlassen und leer, fast so wie eine große Wiese, wo nur noch ein paar Kühe grasen. Dort lagern diese Tiere und fressen das Grünzeug von den Zweigen weg.11Wenn die Bäume und Sträucher leer gefressen sind, dann sterben sie ab und vertrocknen. Die Frauen holen sich dann ein paar Zweige als Brennholz. Hey, diese Leute haben einfach gar nichts geschnallt! Darum ist Gott (der Gott, der sie ja alle mal gemacht hat) nicht mehr nett zu ihnen.12Aber irgendwann wird er kommen, um die letzten Körner aufzusammeln. Er wird vom Eufrat-Fluss bis zur Grenze von Ägypten jeden einsammeln, einen nach dem anderen. Wie ein Kind, das seine verlorenen Murmeln im Zimmer sucht, so wird Gott jedes Mitglied vom Volk Israel suchen und aufsammeln.13An dem Tag wird man auf der ganzen Welt ein lautes Hupen hören, einen sehr lauten Ton. Und dann werden sie alle kommen, die vermissten Israeliten, die in Assyrien, Ägypten oder sonst wo leben. Sie werden alle zu dem ganz besonderen Berg kommen, und dann werden sie sich dort auf den Boden schmeißen und zu Gott beten.
