1Gott, du bist mein Gott! Ich will immer deutlich machen, dass du der Größte bist! Ich will dir immer Lieder singen, weil ich dich so genial finde. Du hast fette Wunder getan! Was du schon immer vorhattest, das ziehst du auch durch. Du bist treu! Du erzählst keinen Stuss!2Aus der Stadt, wo dich keiner kannte, hast du einen Haufen Schrott gemacht. Die Stadt, wo alle dachten, dass man gegen sie nie gewinnen kann, hast du plattgewalzt. Die Bunker sind kaputt, das Regierungsgebäude ist zerstört, die Stadt wird man nie mehr aufbauen können.3Darum wird eine große Nation Respekt vor dir bekommen, starke Regierungen werden Angst vor dir haben.4Du bist für die Kaputten wie ein Schutzraum, bei dir können sich die Armen verstecken, wenn es ihnen dreckig geht. Bei dir kann man sich unterstellen, wenn es anfängt, total viel zu regnen. Und wenn die Sonne vom Himmel knallt, dann gibst du kühlen Schatten. Die Aggressionen von Präsidenten sind wie ein heftiger Schneesturm im Winter5oder wie brennende Sonne in einer Gegend, wo es nie regnet. Du sorgst dafür, dass die Leute, die nichts mit dir zu tun haben wollen, das Maul halten müssen. So, wie Hitze im Sommer vom Schatten einer Wolke gemildert wird, so bekommen auch die Siegeslieder der aggressiven Leute einen Dämpfer.
Ein großes Festessen
6Auf diesem Berg Zion wird der Chef über das ganze Universum für jeden Menschen ein geniales Festessen vorbereiten. Dort soll es das leckerste Bier, die edelsten Weine und auch das beste Essen geben.7Dann wird Gott von diesem Berg aus die Maske von den Gesichtern aller Menschen wegnehmen, er wird die Decke entfernen, die auf den Nationen draufliegt.8Er wird ein für alle Mal den Tod beseitigen, den gibt es ab dann nicht mehr. Gott wird alle Menschen trösten, er wird dafür sorgen, dass keiner mehr weinen muss. Als Nächstes sorgt er dafür, dass seine Leute aus ihren peinlichen Situationen rauskommen, überall auf der Erde. Das hat mir der Chef, Gott höchstpersönlich, gesagt.9An dem Tag werden die Leute sagen: „Da ist unser Gott, der Chef! Auf ihn haben wir immer unsere Hoffnung gesetzt, wir hatten gehofft, dass er uns hier rausholt. Jetzt ist er da, unser Gott, mit ihm haben wir gerechnet. Jetzt können wir uns nur noch freuen, weil er uns gerettet hat!“
Mit Moab ist Schluss
10Gott beschützt den Berg Zion, aber Moab wird von ihm plattgemacht. Sie werden so platt sein wie ein Hundehaufen, auf den man draufgetreten ist, und der dann in eine Kläranlage geworfen wurde.11Es versucht noch krampfhaft, in dieser Brühe zu schwimmen, es will nicht ertrinken. Aber Gott hat keinen Bock auf diese hochnäsige Art, auch wenn Moab geschickt mit seinen Kraulbewegungen in der fauligen Brühe oben bleibt. Letztendlich wird er sie runterdrücken.12Die hohen, gut befestigten Schutzmauern der Stadt wird er wegsprengen. Er überrollt sie, und dann liegen sie im Dreck.
