1Die Leute, die ätzende Gesetze erlassen, müssen echt aufpassen! Wer beknackte Vorschriften macht, sollte vorsichtig sein!2Dadurch werden Hartz- IV -Empfänger unkorrekt behandelt und Menschen, die eigentlich Hilfe bräuchten, abgezockt. Frauen, deren Ehemann gestorben ist, und Kinder ohne Eltern werden auf die Art ausgeraubt.3Was wollt ihr denn machen, wenn der Tag da ist, an dem abgerechnet wird? Was geht, wenn das große Donnerwetter aufzieht? Wohin wollt ihr euch dann verziehen? Wer wird euch helfen? Bei wem könnt ihr eure Kohle verstecken?4Man wird sich nur noch zwischen Knast und Tod entscheiden können. Aber Gott bleibt dabei so oder so sauer, das wird nicht weniger werden, und er wird sie auch weiter bestrafen.
Assyrien übertreibt es
5Gott sagt: „Pass bloß auf, Assyrien, jetzt geht es dir richtig an den Kragen! Du wurdest von mir benutzt, um andere zu bestrafen!6Ich hab etwas gegen Länder unternommen, die ohne mich leben. Diese Länder haben mich provoziert. Und deswegen dürfen die Assyrer diese Leute jetzt abzocken, sie dürfen gegen die gewinnen, sie dürfen die kaputt machen, sie dürfen das Land behandeln wie einen Hundehaufen, der auf der Straße liegt.7Der Chef von den Assyrern hat es aber nicht so ganz geschnallt, und er dachte sich: ‚Warum nicht gleich noch mehr Völker plattmachen?8Alle Offiziere in meiner Armee könnten eigentlich Präsidenten von einem Land werden!9Kann man Kalne nicht mit Karkemisch vergleichen, Hamat nicht mit Arpad, Samaria nicht mit Damaskus?10Ich habe diese ganzen Länder eingenommen, obwohl dort mehr Plastikgötter rumstehen als in Samaria und Jerusalem zusammen!11So wie ich Samaria und seine Plastikgötter kaputt gemacht habe, werde ich auch Jerusalem und seine Plastikgötter kaputt machen!‘“12Gott wird aber, wenn er das zu Ende gebracht hat, was er sich für Jerusalem und den Berg Zion vorgenommen hat, mit dem arroganten Präsidenten von Assyrien kurzen Prozess machen, er wird diesem stolzen Gockel zeigen, wo der Hammer hängt.13Der hat zum Beispiel so was gesagt wie: „Weil ich der große Held bin, hab ich das alles geschafft! Nur weil ich so schlau bin, konnten wir die anderen Völker besiegen und ausrauben! Ich habe alle Grenzen plattgemacht, hab alle ausgeraubt und alle Bewohner kaputt gemacht. Ich bin wie der Terminator.14Wie ein Dieb eine Brieftasche klaut, hab ich den Völkern ihre ganze Kohle gezockt. Wie jemand die Eier aus dem Nest von einem Vogel aufsammelt, so habe ich viele Länder eingesammelt. Es gab keinen, der sich dabei gewehrt hätte, der die Eier verteidigt hätte, der das Maul aufgemacht hätte, um zu schreien.“15Kann der Akkubohrer den Lauten machen und bei dem angeben, der ihn gebraucht? Kann die Stichsäge sich für wichtiger halten als der, der sie in der Hand hält? Das wäre ja fast so, als würde das Brett sich selbst unter der Säge bewegen. Oder noch besser, als ob ein totes Stück Holz einen lebendigen Menschen dazu bringt, sich zu bewegen!16Darum wird Gott, der Chef über die ganze Welt, eine üble Schweinegrippe nach Assyrien schicken, die dafür sorgt, dass dieses reiche Land bluten muss. Er wird das vor lauter Reichtum protzende Land mit einem Feuer anstecken, das alles abfackeln wird.17Der Gott der Israeliten, der bei ihnen das Licht macht, wird zu einer Stichflamme. Er wird die Brennnesseln und Disteln anzünden und an einem Tag verbrennen.18Die wunderschönen Wälder und leckeren Obstplantagen werden komplett kaputt gemacht, da bleibt kein Blatt mehr übrig. Es wird so sein wie ein todkranker Mensch, der in seinem Bett liegt und langsam stirbt.19Den Rest von den Bäumen, die mal in dem großen Wald standen, wird man an einer Hand abzählen können. Es werden so wenige sein, dass sogar ein Kleinkind sie -zählen könnte.
Ein Rest von den Israeliten wird gerettet
20Es wird einen Tag geben, da wird der Rest, der von Israel noch übrig geblieben ist, sich nicht mehr auf Assyrien stützen müssen. Die Leute, die sie mal fertiggemacht haben, brauchen sie dann nicht mehr. Dann werden sie sich nur noch auf Gott stützen, der besondere Gott von Israel, und sie werden ihm treu sein.21Ein kleiner Rest wird zurückkehren, die Leute von Israel, die noch übrig geblieben sind, die werden alles wieder mit ihrem heftigen Gott durchziehen.22Israel, selbst wenn du noch Millionen von Leuten hättest, so viele, wie Sandkörner am Strand liegen, es würden nur wenige sein, die zurückkehren. Es ist beschlossene Sache, dass dein Ding zu Ende geht. Es wird so übel sein wie ein Tsunami, der alles kaputt macht. Aber es wird korrekt sein, dass es so passiert.23Gott hat es sich ganz fest vorgenommen, dich komplett kaputt zu machen. Vor den Augen von allen Menschen auf der Erde will er das durchziehen.
Vor Assyrien braucht ihr keinen Schiss zu haben!
24Der Gott, der über das ganze Universum das Sagen hat, sagt euch Folgendes: „Das geht an alle Leute, die auf dem Berg von Zion wohnen: Ihr braucht keine Angst vor den Assyrern zu haben, selbst wenn die euch genauso ärgern, wie das die Ägypter früher auch gemacht haben.25Es dauert nicht mehr lange, dann bin ich nicht mehr sauer auf euch. Und dann werde ich nur noch aggro gegen Assyrien sein und die kaputtmachen.26Ich, der Chef vom ganzen Universum, werde den Assyrern eins überbraten. Es wird genauso laufen, wie ich es damals bei den Midianitern gebracht habe, am Fels Oreb. Ich werde im richtigen Augenblick meinen Stock über das Meer halten, wie ich es damals bei den Ägyptern auch gemacht habe.27An dem Tag wird der ganze Druck, den ihr von den Assyrern habt, von euch genommen. Mit den ganzen Problemen, die von denen kommen, ist dann Schluss.“
Die feindliche Armee rückt gegen Jerusalem an
28Die Assyrer überfallen Aja, ziehen mit ihrer Armee durch Migron, lassen ihr Gepäck in Michmas,29marschieren durch das Tal und pennen in Geba. In der Stadt Rama zittern alle vor Angst, und die Menschen fliehen alle aus Gibea, wo Saul früher mal gewohnt hat.30Fang an zu kreischen, Frau Gallim. Hör mal zu, Lajescha! Du arme Anatot!31Die Menschen von Madmena fliehen, die Leute aus der Stadt Gebim bringen sich in Sicherheit.32Schon heute Nacht steht der Feind mit seiner Armee in Nob. Er setzt zum Angriff gegen Jerusalem an, gegen den Berg Zion.33Passt mal auf, wie Gott, der Chef über dieses Universum, mit einem heftigen Knall die ganzen Äste von den Bäumen weghaut. Die großen Bäume werden niedergemäht oder umgehauen.34Der dicht bewachsene Wald wird abgeholzt, der schöne Libanonwald wird vom heftigen Gott zu Kleinholz verarbeitet.
