Gott warnt seine Leute

1 Jetzt kommen einige Sachen, die der Prophetentyp Jesaja direkt von Gott hatte. Jesaja ist der Sohn vom Amoz. Gott hat ihm einiges über das Land Juda und die Hauptstadt Jerusalem erzählt. Diese Nachrichten, die von Gott bei ihm reinkamen, hörte er in der Zeit, als Usija, Jotam, Ahas und Hiskija nacheinander als Präsidenten von Juda an der Macht waren. 2 Das hier war das Erste, was Jesaja gesagt hat: Alle mal herhören! Das gilt jetzt für alles und für jeden! Gott sagt Folgendes: „Die Israeliten waren wie Kinder für mich. Denen hab ich immer genug zu essen organisiert. Und hab sie erzogen, bis sie erwachsen waren. Aber jetzt haben sie plötzlich keinen Bock mehr auf mich! 3 Jeder Hund weiß, wer sein Herrchen ist und von wem er sein Chappi bekommt, aber Israel hat das nicht gecheckt. Meine Leute kapieren es einfach nicht. 4 Ihr müsst jetzt extremst aufpassen! Ihr habt es laufend total überzogen, ihr baut ständig Mist. Ihr könnt anscheinend nicht anders, als in einer Tour nur Blödsinn zu machen. Ihr seid alle total kaputt! Ihr seid von mir weggelaufen, habt mich, den ganz besonderen Gott von Israel, einfach links liegen lassen. 5 Wohin soll ich euch noch schlagen? Was braucht ihr noch, damit ihr endlich aufhört, in der Scheiße zu sitzen und euch da auch noch wohlzufühlen? Ich mein, ihr habt doch schon im ganzen Gesicht blaue Flecken und habt dazu noch heftige Depressionen bekommen! 6 Von der Augenbraue bis zum großen Zeh, überall habt ihr schon Schusswunden, offene Stellen und Eiterpickel. Die sind noch nicht mal ausgedrückt, da ist auch keine Schminke und auch keine Penatencreme drauf. 7 Euer Land ist komplett kaputt, und eure Städte sind verbrannt. Vor euren Augen haben irgendwelche Heinis eure Felder abgeerntet und leben jetzt davon. Bei euch ist alles komplett zerstört worden. Es sieht aus, als wäre bei euch im Ort eine Riesen-Demo gewesen und irgendwelche fremden Leute hätten alles platt getreten. 8 Das Einzige, was noch steht, ist die Stadt Jerusalem, die man auch die,Tochter von Zion‘ nennt. Sie steht da wie ein alter überdachter Garagenstellplatz auf einem Hügel, wie eine Holzhütte in einem Kartoffelfeld, wie eine Stadt, die ringsum von ihren Feinden belagert wird.“ 9 Wenn Gott, der Chef über alles, nicht so nett gewesen wäre und einen kleinen Rest übrig gelassen hätte, dann wären unsere Stadt und wir jetzt genauso platt wie die Städte Sodom und Gomorra. Die haben totalen Mist gebaut und wurden deshalb von Gott zerstört.

Ein Gottesdienst, der es nicht bringt

10 Ihr Leute aus Jerusalem, die ihr so drauf seid wie die Typen in Sodom und Gomorra damals. Hört mal, was Gott euch zu sagen hat: 11 „Leute, was sollen eigentlich diese ganzen Opfersessions von euch noch? Was bringt das? Ich kann diese ganzen verbrannten Schafe echt nicht mehr riechen! Noch eins von diesen Fettstücken von einer Kuh, und ich muss kotzen! Das ganze Blut von den Stieren, Lämmern und jungen männlichen Ziegen, ich hab da keinen Bock mehr drauf! 12 Wenn ihr zu meinem Haus kommt, dann zertrampelt ihr nur die schönen Vorgärten und Anlagen. Wer hat das bitte schön von euch verlangt? 13 Hört auf mit diesen dummen Essensopfern, und wenn ich noch eine Räucherkerze rieche, krieg ich einen Anfall! Eure ganzen religiösen -Feiern, Neumond, Sonntag und wie sie alle heißen, kann ich echt nicht ausstehen! 14 Ich hasse eure Neumondfeste! Die gehen mir voll auf die Nerven, und ich bin total angekotzt, weil ich das die ganze Zeit ertragen muss. 15 Wenn ihr anfangt zu beten, dann stelle ich auf Durchzug. Ihr braucht nur eure Hände zu falten, dann bin ich schon weg. Und wenn ihr mich den ganzen Tag nur volllabert, ich höre euch einfach nicht zu. Warum? Weil eure Hände voll Blut sind, ihr habt alle Dreck am Stecken. 16 Geht mal anständig duschen! Macht euch innerlich sauber! Hört auf damit, die ganze Zeit Scheiße zu bauen! Ich will nicht länger dabei zusehen, wie ihr die ganze Zeit miese Dinger dreht. 17 Fangt damit an, gute Sachen zu tun. Sorgt dafür, dass Sachen wieder in Ordnung kommen. Lebt korrekt! Tretet den Menschen, die andere Leute fertigmachen, mal gegen das Schienbein. Sorgt dafür, dass Hartz- IV -Empfängern und Leuten von der Straße geholfen wird und dass die auch korrekt behandelt werden.“ 18 Gott sagt weiter: „Okay, wir sollten mal eine kleine Gerichtsverhandlung abhalten. Wenn an euren Händen Blut klebt, wenn ihr so viel Mist gebaut habt, dass ihr am ganzen Körper rot und damit dreckig seid, dann soll alles wieder total sauber und weiß werden, so weiß wie Schnee. Wenn ihr so rot wie Tomatenketchup seid, dann sollt ihr wieder so weiß -werden wie Schnee. 19 Es geht nur darum, dass ihr das tut, was ich von euch möchte. Wenn ihr dazu bereit seid, dann kommt alles wieder in Ordnung, und ihr könnt euch wieder von den leckeren Sachen ernähren, die in diesem Land wachsen. 20 Wenn ihr da aber keinen Bock drauf habt und voll den Aufstand macht, dann werdet ihr alle sterben. Diese Ansage kommt direkt von Gott, dem Chef!“

Die ganze Stadt Jerusalem ist gegen Gott

21 Jerusalem, wie konnte das passieren, dass du zu so einer billigen Nutte abgewrackt bist? Du warst doch mal eine so nette Stadt! Alles, was bei dir passierte, war in Ordnung, und viele korrekte Leute wohnten bei dir. Aber jetzt ist alles voller Terroristen und Mörder! 22 Was bei dir früher sauber ablief, ist jetzt versifft. Wo man früher Schmuck eingekauft hat, gibt es jetzt Drogen. Früher warst du wie ein edler Wein, jetzt bist du wie eine abgestandene billige Cola. 23 Dein Bürgermeister gehört zur Mafia, die Menschen in der Regierung werden bestochen und sind alle nur scharf auf irgendwelche Werbegeschenke. Sie kümmern sich nicht mehr um die Leute von der Straße, und wenn eine alleinstehende Mutter bei ihnen im Büro anklopft, schmeißen sie die raus. 24 Aber jetzt sagt der Chef, der Gott über dieses Universum, mal ein paar Takte zu euch: „Passt auf! Ich hab so einen Hals! Ich werde euch jetzt mal richtig in den Hintern treten und meinem Zorn freien Lauf lassen. Denn ihr seid jetzt meine Gegner geworden, und an meinen Feinden räche ich mich. 25 Aus euch mach ich Hackfleisch, oder noch besser, ich werde euch unter Druck setzen, damit das Gute am Ende übrig bleibt. Ihr werdet gefiltert, wie man Wasser filtert, damit ihr sauber seid und der ganze Dreck bei euch verschwindet. 26 Ich werde dafür sorgen, dass es wieder ein paar gute Richtertypen und Chefs bei euch gibt, die für Ordnung sorgen, so wie das früher mal bei euch war. Wenn das vorbei ist, wird man Jerusalem wieder solche Spitznamen geben wie ‚Korrekte Stadt‘ oder ‚Treue Stadt‘. 27 Wenn die Leute, die dort wohnen, wieder korrekt leben, wenn man dort wieder mit mir, eurem Gott, gemeinsam alles durchzieht, dann wird es Jerusalem, der Stadt Zion, gut gehen. 28 Die Leute, die dort Scheiße gebaut haben, die mir den Stinkefinger gezeigt haben, werden alle plattgemacht. Wer nicht mehr mit mir lebt, wird sterben. 29 Es wird ihnen oberpeinlich sein, dass sie diese Zauberbäume so supertoll fanden. Sie werden rot im Gesicht und anfangen zu schwitzen, weil sie so blöd waren, sich auf diese beknackten Gartengötter einzulassen. 30 Dann werdet ihr wie ein vergammelter Blumenstrauß dastehen, dessen Blüten schon matschig sind. Oder ihr seid wie ein alter Fußballplatz, der ewig kein Wasser mehr gesehen hat und schon ganz vertrocknet ist und braune Stellen hat. 31 Die Menschen, die was draufhaben, werden wie ein Karton voll explosiver Munition sein. Und das, was sie dann tun, ist wie ein Feuerzeug. Wenn beides zusammenkommt, macht es ‚Bum‘, und das Ganze fliegt in die Luft. Keiner kann das aufhalten.“

The Unfaithful City

21 How the faithful city has become a whore,^[4] she who was full of justice! Righteousness lodged in her, but now murderers. (2Mo 34,15; Jer 2,20; Jer 31,23) 22 Your silver has become dross, your best wine mixed with water. (Jer 6,30; Hes 22,18) 23 Your princes are rebels and companions of thieves. Everyone loves a bribe and runs after gifts. They do not bring justice to the fatherless, and the widow’s cause does not come to them. (2Mo 23,8; Jes 1,17; Jer 5,28; Mi 7,3; Sach 7,10)
