Du bist der Chef von allem hier,5und deine Liebe brennt in dir. Du liebst uns und bleibst immer da.6Zeig’ deine Power und mach’ allen klar,7dass du keinen von deinen Leuten vergisst. Hey, Gott, befreie uns von allem Mist!8Gott hat einmal in seinem Büro gesagt: „Jetzt mach ich das so, wie ich es mag. Ich verschenk’ jetzt Sichem und mess’ das Gebiet, wo das Tal von Sukkoth liegt.9Gilead gehört mir und Manasse erst recht. Efraim ist mein Helm und Juda auch nicht schlecht. Das benutz’ ich als Stab zum Chef sein,10Moab als Waschbecken ist auch mein. Edom ist mein Schuhschrank, und über Philistäa freu’ ich mich krank.“11Wer hilft mir auf dem Weg nach Edom?12Machst du das, Gott? Kommst du vom Himmel und leitest unsere Armee?13Wir haben grad totale Probleme, o weh! Hilf uns, Gott, kein Mensch bringt es jetzt.14Aber mit Gott werden unsere Gegner zerfetzt. Wir werden dann noch krassere Sachen machen und mit Gott zusammen darüber lachen.

Who will lead me to Edom?11Have you not rejected us, O God? You do not go out, O God, with our armies.12Oh grant us help against the foe, for vain is the salvation of man!13With God we shall do valiantly; it is he who will tread down our foes.
