1 Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise in the assembly of the godly! (Mez 33:3; Mez 89:5; Mez 89:7; Mez 148:14) 2 Let Israel be glad in his Maker; let the children of Zion rejoice in their King! (1 Sa 12:12; Eyü 35:10; Mez 85:6; Mez 95:6; Zek 9:9) 3 Let them praise his name with dancing, making melody to him with tambourine and lyre! (Çık 15:20; Mez 30:11; Mez 150:3; Mez 150:4) 4 For the Lord takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with salvation. (Mez 35:27; Mez 147:11; Yşa 61:3) 5 Let the godly exult in glory; let them sing for joy on their beds. (Eyü 35:10; Mez 4:4; Mez 63:6; Hoş 7:14) 6 Let the high praises of God be in their throats and two-edged swords in their hands, (Mez 66:17; Özd 5:4; İbr 4:12; Va 1:16; Va 2:12) 7 to execute vengeance on the nations and punishments on the peoples, 8 to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron, (Eyü 36:8) 9 to execute on them the judgment written!
