Çünkü duam hep kötülere karşıdır. 6 Önderleri kayalardan aşağı atılınca, Dinleyecekler tatlı sözlerimi. 7 Sabanla sürülüp yarılmış toprak gibi, Saçılmış kemiklerimiz ölüler diyarının ağzına. 8 Ancak gözlerim sende, ey Egemen RAB, Sana sığınıyorum, beni savunmasız bırakma! 9 Koru beni kurdukları tuzaktan, Suç işleyenlerin kapanlarından. 10 Ben güvenlik içinde geçip giderken, Kendi ağlarına düşsün kötüler.

1 A Psalm of David. O Lord, I call upon you; hasten to me! Give ear to my voice when I call to you! (Mez 40:13; Mez 70:5) 2 Let my prayer be counted as incense before you, and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice! (Çık 29:41; Mez 28:2; Luk 1:10; Va 5:8; Va 8:3) 3 Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips! (Mez 34:13; Mik 7:5) 4 Do not let my heart incline to any evil, to busy myself with wicked deeds in company with men who work iniquity, and let me not eat of their delicacies! (Mez 94:4; Mez 119:36; Mez 141:9; Özd 23:6) 5 Let a righteous man strike me—it is a kindness; let him rebuke me—it is oil for my head; let my head not refuse it. Yet my prayer is continually against their evil deeds. (Mez 109:4; Özd 9:8; Özd 19:25; Özd 25:12; Özd 27:6; Vai 7:5) 6 When their judges are thrown over the cliff,[1] then they shall hear my words, for they are pleasant.
