Das werden viele sehen und sich fürchten und werden auf den HERRN vertrauen. (Ps 33,3; Ps 96,1; Ps 98,1)5Wohl dem, der sein Vertrauen auf den HERRN setzt und sich nicht zu den Aufgeblasenen wendet und zu den abtrünnigen Lügnern. (Ps 2,12; Ps 84,6; Ps 84,13; Ps 146,5)6HERR, mein Gott, [wie] zahlreich sind die Wunder, die du getan hast, und deine Pläne, die du für uns gemacht hast; dir ist nichts gleich! Wollte ich sie verkündigen und davon reden — es sind zu viele, um sie aufzuzählen. (Ps 27,14; Ps 34,16)3Er rettete mich aus dem Sumpf der Verzweiflung, aus Matsch und Schlamm. Er stellte mich auf festen Boden und gab meinen Füßen festen Halt. (Ps 27,5; Ps 69,2; Jer 38,6)4Er legte mir ein neues Lied in meinen Mund, mit dem ich unseren Gott loben kann. Viele werden sehen, was er getan hat, und darüber staunen. Sie werden dem HERRN vertrauen. (Ps 32,7; Ps 33,3; Ps 64,10)5Glücklich ist der, der auf den HERRN vertraut und nicht den Stolzen und den Lügnern glaubt. (Ps 84,13)6HERR, mein Gott, du hast so viele wunderbare Taten getan und deine Vorhaben sind so zahlreich. Du bist mit niemandem zu vergleichen. Wenn ich versuchen wollte, all deine wunderbaren Taten aufzuzählen, würde ich kein Ende finden. (Hi 5,9; Ps 136,4; Ps 139,17; Jes 55,8)7Du hast keine Freude an Opfern und Gaben. Aber du hast mir die Ohren geöffnet und ich erkenne, dass du keine Brand- und Sündopfer willst. (1Sam 15,22; Jer 7,22; Mi 6,6; Hebr 10,5)8Da sprach ich: »Sieh her, ich bin gekommen. Und das steht in deinem Buch über mich geschrieben:9›Ich will deinen Willen gerne tun, mein Gott, denn dein Gesetz ist tief in mein Herz geschrieben.‹« (Ps 37,31; Joh 4,34; Röm 7,22; 2Kor 3,3)10Vor der ganzen Gemeinde habe ich deinem Volk von deiner Gerechtigkeit erzählt. HERR, du weißt, dass ich dabei keine Angst hatte. (Ps 22,26; Ps 119,13)11Was du getan hast, habe ich nicht für mich behalten. Ich habe von deiner Treue und Hilfe erzählt. Vor der ganzen Gemeinde habe ich von deiner Gnade und Treue berichtet. (Ps 89,2; Apg 20,20)12HERR, du wirst mir auch weiterhin gnädig sein, denn deine Gnade und Treue sind meine einzige Hoffnung. (Ps 61,8)13Von allen Seiten bedroht mich Unglück. Meine Sünden türmen sich vor mir auf, sodass ich den Weg nicht mehr vor mir sehe. Sie sind zahlreicher als die Haare auf meinem Haupt, darum bin ich mutlos geworden. (Ps 18,6; Ps 38,5; Ps 73,26; Ps 116,3)14Bitte, HERR, rette mich! Komm schnell, HERR, und hilf mir! (Ps 70,2)15Die mich vernichten wollen, sollen erniedrigt und bloßgestellt werden. Wer sich über mein Unglück freut, soll selbst zugrunde gehen. (Ps 35,4; Ps 70,3)16Sie sollen sich über ihre eigene Schande entsetzen, alle, die riefen: »Aha, jetzt haben wir ihn!«17Die deine Nähe jedoch suchen, sollen sich freuen und über dich jubeln. Die dein Heil lieben, sollen immer wieder rufen: »Der HERR ist groß!« (Ps 35,27; Ps 70,5)18Doch ich bin arm und elend, aber jetzt wird der Herr für mich sorgen. Denn du bist mein Helfer und mein Retter. Mein Gott, zögere nicht länger! (Ps 70,6)

(5Mo 13,11; Ps 33,3; Ps 52,6; Ps 64,8)4Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust, who does not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after a lie! (3Mo 19,4; 5Mo 29,18; Hi 23,11; Ps 2,12; Ps 101,3; Ps 125,5; Hos 3,1)5You have multiplied, O Lord my God, your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us; none can compare with you! I will proclaim and tell of them, yet they are more than can be told. 1I was patient while I waited for the LORD. He turned to me and heard my cry for help.2I was sliding down into the pit of death, and he pulled me out. He brought me up out of the mud and dirt. He set my feet on a rock. He gave me a firm place to stand on.3He gave me a new song to sing. It is a hymn of praise to our God. Many people will see and have respect for the LORD. They will put their trust in him.4Blessed is the person who trusts in the LORD. They don’t trust in proud people. Those proud people worship statues of gods.5LORD my God, no one can compare with you. You have done many wonderful things. You have planned to do these things for us. There are too many of them for me to talk about.6You didn’t want sacrifices and offerings. You didn’t require burnt offerings and sin offerings. You opened my ears so that I could hear you and obey you.7Then I said, ‘Here I am. It is written about me in the book.8My God, I have come to do what you want. Your law is in my heart.’9I have told the whole community of those who worship you. I have told them what you have done to save me. LORD, you know that I haven’t kept quiet.10I haven’t kept to myself that what you did for me was right. I have spoken about how faithful you were when you saved me. I haven’t hidden your love and your faithfulness from the whole community.11LORD, don’t hold back your mercy from me. May your love and faithfulness always keep me safe.12There are more troubles all around me than I can count. My sins have caught up with me, and I can’t see any longer. My sins are more than the hairs of my head. I have lost all hope.13LORD, please save me. LORD, come quickly to help me.14Let all those who are trying to kill me be put to shame. Let them lose their way. Let all those who want to destroy me be turned back in shame.15Some people make fun of me. Let them be shocked when their plans fail.16But let all those who seek you be joyful and glad because of what you have done. Let those who count on you to save them always say, ‘The LORD is great!’17But I am poor and needy. May the Lord be concerned about me. You are the God who helps me and saves me. You are my God, so don’t wait any longer.
