Er hat uns gemacht, und nicht wir selbst, zu seinem Volk und zu Schafen seiner Weide. 1 Ein Dankpsalm. Jubelt dem HERRN zu, ihr Bewohner der Erde! (Ps 98,4) 2 Betet ihn voll Freude an. Kommt zu ihm und lobt ihn mit Liedern. (5Mo 28,47) 3 Erkennt, dass der HERR Gott ist! Er hat uns erschaffen und wir gehören ihm. Wir sind sein Volk, die Schafe seiner Weide. (1Kön 18,39; Hes 34,30; Mk 14,27; Joh 10,11) 4 Geht durch die Tempeltore mit Dank, tretet ein in seine Vorhöfe mit Lobgesang. Dankt ihm und lobt seinen Namen. 1 A Psalm for giving thanks. Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! (Ps 50,14; Ps 66,1) 2 Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! (Ps 2,11; Ps 95,2) 3 Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his;[1] we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. (1Kön 18,39; Hi 10,3; Hi 10,8; Ps 74,1; Ps 95,6; Jes 43,1; Hes 34,30) 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! (Ps 66,13; Ps 96,2; Ps 96,8) 5 For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations. 1 Shout for joy to the LORD, everyone on earth. 2 Worship the LORD with gladness. Come to him with songs of joy. 3 Know that the LORD is God. He made us, and we belong to him. We are his people. We are the sheep belonging to his flock. 4 Give thanks as you enter the gates of his temple. Give praise as you enter its courtyards. Give thanks to him and praise his name. 5 The LORD is good. His faithful love continues for ever. It will last for all time to come.
