1 Ein Psalm Davids. Von Gnade und Recht will ich singen; dir, HERR, will ich spielen! (5Mo 4,1; Ps 119,54; Mi 6,8) 2 Ich will achthaben auf den vollkommenen Weg. Wann wirst du zu mir kommen? Ich will mit lauterem Herzen wandeln im Innern meines Hauses. (2Mo 20,24; 2Mo 25,22; Jos 24,15; Ps 26,8; Ps 84,5; Ps 119,9; Jes 40,10; Mt 24,42; 1Kor 1,8; Phil 2,14) 3 Ich will nichts Schändliches vor meine Augen stellen; das Tun der Abtrünnigen hasse ich, es soll mir nicht anhaften! (Hi 31,1; Spr 4,26; Spr 8,7; Spr 8,13; Jes 33,15; Eph 5,7; Eph 5,11) 4 Ein verkehrtes Herz soll von mir weichen; von Bösem will ich nichts wissen! (Ps 1,1; Ps 26,4) 5 Wer seinen Nächsten heimlich verleumdet, den will ich vertilgen; wer stolze Augen und ein hochmütiges Herz hat, den will ich nicht dulden. (3Mo 19,16; Spr 20,19; Spr 21,4) 6 Ich achte auf die Treuen im Land, sie sollen bei mir wohnen; wer auf unsträflichem Weg wandelt, der soll mir dienen. (2Mo 23,25; Ps 119,63; Spr 14,35; Joh 12,26) 7 In meinem Haus soll keiner wohnen, der Betrug verübt; wer Lügen redet, soll nicht bestehen vor meinen Augen. (Ps 5,6; Offb 21,27) 8 Jeden Morgen will ich alle Gottlosen im Land vertilgen, um aus der Stadt des HERRN alle auszurotten, die Böses tun. (Ps 1,6; Spr 20,26; Jes 1,26; Offb 21,27)

1 Ein Psalm Davids. Ich will von deiner Gnade und Gerechtigkeit singen. HERR, mit Liedern will ich dich loben. (Ps 89,2; Ps 145,7) 2 Ich will darauf achten, ein vorbildliches Leben zu führen. Wann wirst du mir beistehen? In meinem Haus will ich ein tadelloses Leben führen. 3 Böses und Gemeines will ich nicht einmal ansehen. Gottes Gebote zu übertreten ist mir verhasst, damit will ich nichts zu tun haben. 4 Ich will schlechten Gedanken keinen Raum in mir geben und mich von allem Bösen fernhalten. (Spr 11,20) 5 Ich will nicht dulden, dass einer schlecht über einen anderen redet. Stolz und Hochmut will ich nicht zulassen. (Ps 50,20; Spr 6,16) 6 Stattdessen will ich auf die Gottesfürchtigen achten, damit sie sicher bei mir wohnen. Nur vorbildliche Menschen dürfen mir dienen. (Ps 119,1) 7 In meinem Haus sollen keine Betrüger wohnen und Lügner will ich in meiner Gegenwart nicht dulden. 8 Jeden Morgen mache ich mich auf, die Gottlosen im Land zu vernichten, um die Stadt des HERRN von ihnen zu befreien. (Ps 46,5; Ps 75,11; Ps 118,10)

1 I will sing of steadfast love and justice; to you, O LORD, I will make music. (2Mo 34,7) 2 I will ponder the way that is blameless. Oh when will you come to me? I will walk with integrity of heart within my house; (2Mo 20,24; 1Kön 9,4; Ps 4,4; Ps 78,72; Ps 119,1; Spr 11,20; Mt 5,48; Joh 14,23) 3 I will not set before my eyes anything that is worthless. I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me. (5Mo 15,9; Ps 40,4) 4 A perverse heart shall be far from me; I will know nothing of evil. (Spr 11,20; Spr 17,20; 1Kor 5,11) 5 Whoever slanders his neighbor secretly I will destroy. Whoever has a haughty look and an arrogant heart I will not endure. (Ps 15,3; Ps 18,27; Ps 101,8; Ps 131,1; Spr 6,17; Spr 16,5; Spr 21,4; Spr 30,13) 6 I will look with favor on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks in the way that is blameless shall minister to me. (Ps 119,1; Spr 11,20; Mt 5,48) 7 No one who practices deceit shall dwell in my house; no one who utters lies shall continue before my eyes. (Ps 52,2; Ps 102,28) 8 Morning by morning I will destroy all the wicked in the land, cutting off all the evildoers from the city of the LORD. (Ps 48,1; Ps 48,8; Ps 73,14; Ps 75,10; Ps 94,4; Jes 52,1)

1 I will sing about your love and fairness. LORD, I will sing praise to you. 2 I will be careful to lead a life that is without blame. When will you come and help me? In my own home I will lead a life that is without blame. 3 I won’t look at anything that is evil and call it good. I hate the acts of people who aren’t faithful to you. I won’t have anything to do with those things. 4 I will stay away from those whose hearts are twisted. I won’t have anything to do with what is evil. 5 I will get rid of anyone who tells lies about their neighbour in secret. I won’t put up with anyone whose eyes and heart are proud. 6 I will look with favour on the faithful people in the land. They will live with me. Those whose lives are without blame will serve me. 7 No one who lies and cheats will live in my house. No one who tells lies will serve me. 8 Every morning I will get rid of all the sinful people in the land. I will remove from the city of the LORD everyone who does what is evil.
