1Und nach diesem hörte ich eine laute Stimme einer großen Volksmenge im Himmel, die sprach: Hallelujah![1] Das Heil und die Herrlichkeit und die Ehre und die Macht gehören dem Herrn, unserem Gott! (Ps 150,1; Ps 150,6; Offb 7,10; Offb 7,12)2Denn wahrhaftig und gerecht sind seine Gerichte; denn er hat die große Hure gerichtet, welche die Erde verderbte mit ihrer Unzucht, und hat das Blut seiner Knechte von ihrer Hand gefordert! Der Herr Jesus Christus als König und Richter
11Und ich sah den Himmel geöffnet, und siehe, ein weißes Pferd, und der darauf saß, heißt »Der Treue und der Wahrhaftige«; und in Gerechtigkeit richtet und kämpft er. (Ps 96,12; Joh 7,28; Apg 17,31; 1Joh 5,20; Offb 3,7; Offb 3,14; Offb 4,1; Offb 6,2)12Seine Augen aber sind wie eine Feuerflamme, und auf seinem Haupt sind viele Kronen, und er trägt einen Namen geschrieben, den niemand kennt als nur er selbst. Der Sieg über das Tier und den falschen Propheten
17Und ich sah einen Engel in der Sonne stehen; und er rief mit lauter Stimme und sprach zu allen Vögeln, die inmitten des Himmels fliegen: Kommt und versammelt euch zu dem Mahl des großen Gottes, (Jes 34,1; Jes 56,9; Jer 12,9; Hes 39,17; Offb 8,13; Offb 14,6)18um das Fleisch der Könige zu verzehren und das Fleisch der Heerführer und das Fleisch der Starken und das Fleisch der Pferde und derer, die darauf sitzen, und das Fleisch aller, der Freien und der Knechte, sowohl der Kleinen als auch der Großen! (1Sam 17,45)19Und ich sah das Tier und die Könige der Erde und ihre Heere versammelt, um Krieg zu führen mit dem, der auf dem Pferd sitzt, und mit seinem Heer. The Marriage Supper of the Lamb

(Ps 97,1; Dan 10,6; Offb 1,15; Offb 6,1; Offb 11,15; Offb 11,17; Offb 14,2; Offb 19,1)7Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready; (Jes 54,5; Hos 2,19; Mt 22,2; Mt 25,10; Lk 12,36; Lk 14,8; Joh 2,1; Eph 5,22; Offb 21,2; Offb 21,9)8it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”— for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints. The Rider on a White Horse
11Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. (Jes 63,2; Joh 1,1)14And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses. (Offb 3,4; Offb 7,9; Offb 14,20)15From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule[3] them with a rod of iron. He has judged the great prostitute. She made the earth impure with her terrible sins. God has paid her back for killing those who served him.’3Again they shouted, ‘Hallelujah! The smoke from her fire goes up for ever and ever.’4The 24 elders and the four living creatures bowed down. They worshipped God, who was sitting on the throne. They cried out, ‘Amen! Hallelujah!’5Then a voice came from the throne. It said, ‘Praise our God, all you who serve him! Praise God, all you who have respect for him, both great and small!’6Then I heard the noise of a huge crowd. It sounded like the roar of rushing waters and like loud thunder. The people were shouting, ‘Hallelujah! Our Lord God is the King who rules over all.7Let us be joyful and glad! Let us give him glory! It is time for the Lamb’s wedding. His bride has made herself ready.8Fine linen, bright and clean, was given to her to wear.’ Fine linen stands for the right things that God’s holy people do.9Here is what the angel told me to write. ‘Blessed are those invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!’ Then he added, ‘These are the true words of God.’10When I heard this, I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, ‘Don’t do that! I serve God, just as you do. I am God’s servant, just like believers who hold firmly to what Jesus has taught. Worship God! The Spirit of prophecy tells the truth about Jesus.’
The heavenly warrior has victory over the beast
11I saw heaven standing open. There in front of me was a white horse. Its rider is called Faithful and True. When he judges or makes war, he is always fair.12His eyes are like blazing fire. On his head are many crowns. A name is written on him that only he knows.13He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood. His name is the Word of God.14The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses. They were dressed in fine linen, white and clean.15Coming out of the rider’s mouth is a sharp sword. He will strike down the nations with the sword. Scripture says, ‘He will rule them with an iron sceptre.’ He tramples on the grapes of God’s winepress. The winepress stands for the terrible anger of the God who rules over all. (Ps 2,9)16Here is the name that is written on the rider’s robe and on his thigh. The greatest King of all and the most powerful Lord of all17I saw an angel standing in the sun. He shouted to all the birds flying high in the air, ‘Come! Gather together for the great supper of God.18Come and eat the dead bodies of kings, generals, and other mighty people. Eat the bodies of horses and their riders. Eat the bodies of all people, free and slave, great and small.’19Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies. They had gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army.20But the beast and the false prophet were captured. The false prophet had done signs for the beast. In this way the false prophet had tricked some people. Those people had received the mark of the beast and had worshipped its statue. The beast and the false prophet were thrown alive into the lake of fire. The lake of fire burns with sulphur.21The rest were killed by the sword that came out of the rider’s mouth. All the birds stuffed themselves with the dead bodies.
