Verbot heidnischer Trauerbräuche. Reine und unreine Tiere
1Ihr seid Kinder des HERRN, eures Gottes. Darum sollt ihr euch keine Einschnitte machen, noch euch über euren Augen kahlscheren wegen eines Toten; (2Mo 4,22; 3Mo 19,28; 3Mo 21,5; Jes 1,2; Jes 63,16; Jer 3,19; Jer 16,6; Hos 2,1; Mal 1,6; Joh 1,12; Röm 9,4; Röm 9,8; Gal 3,26)2denn ein heiliges Volk bist du für den HERRN, deinen Gott, und dich hat der HERR erwählt, dass du ihm ein Volk des Eigentums seist unter allen Völkern, die auf Erden sind. (2Mo 19,5; 5Mo 7,6; 5Mo 26,18; Tit 2,14; 1Petr 2,9)3Du sollst nichts essen, was ein Gräuel ist. (Hes 4,14; Apg 10,12)4Das aber sind die Tiere, die ihr essen dürft: Rind, Schaf und Ziege, (3Mo 11,2)5Hirsch und Gazelle und Damhirsch und Steinbock und Wisent und Antilope und Wildschaf; (5Mo 12,15; 5Mo 12,22; 1Kön 5,3)6und jedes Tier, das gespaltene Klauen hat, und zwar ganz gespaltene Klauen, und auch Wiederkäuer unter den Tieren, das dürft ihr essen. (3Mo 11,3)7Doch diese sollt ihr nicht essen von den Wiederkäuern und von denen, die vollständig gespaltene Klauen haben: das Kamel, den Hasen und den Klippdachs; denn obwohl sie wiederkäuen, haben sie doch nicht vollständig gespaltene Klauen; sie sollen euch unrein sein.8Das Schwein hat zwar ganz gespaltene Klauen, ist aber kein Wiederkäuer; es soll euch unrein sein. Von ihrem Fleisch sollt ihr nicht essen, und ihr Aas sollt ihr nicht anrühren. (3Mo 11,26; 5Mo 14,6; Jes 65,3)9Das ist es aber, was ihr essen dürft von allem, was in den Wassern ist: Alles, was Flossen und Schuppen hat, dürft ihr essen. (3Mo 11,9)10Was aber keine Flossen und Schuppen hat, sollt ihr nicht essen; es soll euch unrein sein.11Alle reinen Vögel[1] dürft ihr essen.12Diese aber sollt ihr nicht essen: den Adler, den Lämmergeier und den Seeadler, (3Mo 11,13)13die Weihe, den Habicht und die Geierarten, (Jes 34,15)14alle Rabenarten, (1Mo 8,7; 1Kön 17,4)15den Strauß, die Eule, die Möwe und die Falkenarten, (Hi 30,29)16das Käuzchen, den Ibis, die Schleiereule, (Ps 102,7)17den Pelikan, den Aasgeier und den Kormoran, (Jes 34,11; Zef 2,14)18den Storch, die Reiherarten, den Wiedehopf und die Fledermaus. (5Mo 14,12)19Auch alles geflügelte Kleingetier soll euch als unrein gelten, sie dürfen nicht gegessen werden. (3Mo 11,20)20Alle reinen Vögel dürft ihr essen.21Ihr sollt kein Aas essen; dem Fremdling in deinen Toren kannst du es geben, dass er es isst, oder einem Ausländer kannst du es verkaufen; denn ein heiliges Volk bist du für den HERRN, deinen Gott. Der Zehnte
22Du sollst allen Ertrag deiner Saat getreu verzehnten, was auf dem Feld wächst, Jahr für Jahr. (3Mo 27,30; 4Mo 18,24; Neh 10,37)23Und du sollst essen vor dem HERRN, deinem Gott, an dem Ort, den er erwählen wird, um seinen Namen dort wohnen zu lassen, den Zehnten deines Korns, deines Mosts, deines Öls und die Erstgeborenen von deinen Rindern und Schafen, damit du lernst, den HERRN, deinen Gott, allezeit zu fürchten. (5Mo 12,5; 5Mo 15,19)24Wenn dir aber der Weg zu weit ist und du es nicht hintragen kannst, weil der Ort, den der HERR, dein Gott, erwählen wird, um seinen Namen dorthin zu setzen, dir zu fern ist; wenn [nun] der HERR, dein Gott, dich segnet, (5Mo 12,21)25so verkaufe es und binde das Geld in deiner Hand zusammen und geh an den Ort, den der HERR, dein Gott, erwählen wird. (Mt 21,12; Joh 2,14)26Und gib das Geld für das aus, was irgend dein Herz begehrt, es sei für Rinder, Schafe, Wein, starkes Getränk oder was sonst deine Seele wünscht, und iss dort vor dem HERRN, deinem Gott, und sei fröhlich, du und dein Haus. (5Mo 12,7; Joh 2,13)27Den Leviten aber, der in deinen Toren ist, sollst du nicht im Stich lassen; denn er hat weder Teil noch Erbe mit dir. (5Mo 12,12; 5Mo 12,19; 5Mo 14,29; 5Mo 18,1)28Nach Verlauf von drei Jahren sollst du den ganzen Zehnten deines Ertrages von jenem Jahr aussondern und es in deinen Toren lassen. (5Mo 26,12; Am 4,4)29Da soll dann der Levit kommen, weil er weder Teil noch Erbe mit dir hat, und der Fremdling und die Waise und die Witwe, die in deinen Toren sind, und sie sollen essen und sich sättigen, damit dich der HERR, dein Gott, segne in allen Werken deiner Hände, die du tust. You may give it to the sojourner who is within your towns, that he may eat it, or you may sell it to a foreigner. Tithes
22“You shall tithe all the yield of your seed that comes from the field year by year. (4Mo 18,21)23And before the Lord your God, in the place that he will choose, to make his name dwell there, you shall eat the tithe of your grain, of your wine, and of your oil, and the firstborn of your herd and flock, that you may learn to fear the Lord your God always. (5Mo 4,10; 5Mo 12,6; 5Mo 12,7; 5Mo 15,20; 5Mo 17,19)24And if the way is too long for you, so that you are not able to carry the tithe, when the Lord your God blesses you, because the place is too far from you, which the Lord your God chooses, to set his name there, (5Mo 12,21)25then you shall turn it into money and bind up the money in your hand and go to the place that the Lord your God chooses26and spend the money for whatever you desire—oxen or sheep or wine or strong drink, whatever your appetite craves. And you shall eat there before the Lord your God and rejoice, you and your household. (5Mo 14,23)27And you shall not neglect the Levite who is within your towns, for he has no portion or inheritance with you. (4Mo 18,20; 5Mo 12,19)28“At the end of every three years you shall bring out all the tithe of your produce in the same year and lay it up within your towns.
