1Geliebte, glaubt nicht jedem Geist, sondern prüft die Geister, ob sie aus Gott sind! Denn es sind viele falsche Propheten in die Welt ausgegangen. Gottes Liebe zu uns und die Liebe zum Bruder
7Geliebte, lasst uns einander lieben! Denn die Liebe ist aus Gott, und jeder, der liebt, ist aus Gott geboren und erkennt Gott. Test the Spirits
1Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. (Jer 29,8; 1Kor 12,10; 1Kor 14,29; 1Thess 5,21; 2Petr 2,1; 1Joh 2,18; 2Joh 1,7; Offb 2,2)2By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, (1Kor 12,3; 2Joh 1,7)3and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. (2Thess 2,3; 1Joh 2,18; 1Joh 2,22; 2Joh 1,7)4Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
