1 A Terra e tudo o que nela há pertence ao SENHOR! Todo o mundo é dele, assim como os seus habitantes! 2 Foi ele quem a fez surgir do fundo dos mares e a torna estável no meio das águas. 3 Quem pode subir até ao monte do SENHOR? Quem pode estar no lugar santo onde ele mora? 4 Somente aquele cujas mãos estão limpas de maldade e cujo coração é puro, que não pratica a mentira nem a desonestidade. 5 Ele receberá a bênção do SENHOR; terá como recompensa a própria justiça de Deus, o seu Salvador. 6 Esse é o que te busca; o que anseia pela tua face, ó Deus de Jacob. (Pausa) 7 Abram-se, ó portas, abram-se de par em par, ó entradas eternas, e passará o Rei da glória. 8 E quem é esse Rei da glória? É o SENHOR, forte e poderoso, invencível na batalha. 9 Abram-se, ó portas, abram-se de par em par, ó entradas eternas, e passará o Rei da glória. 10 Quem é este Rei da glória? O SENHOR dos exércitos! Ele é o Rei da glória! (Pausa)

1 A Psalm of David. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof,[1] the world and those who dwell therein, (Ex 9:29; Ex 19:5; Dt 10:14; Jó 41:11; Sl 50:12; Sl 89:11; 1 Co 10:26) 2 for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers. (Gn 1:9; Jó 38:6; Sl 104:5; Sl 136:6; Pv 8:29) 3 Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place? (Sl 2:6; Sl 15:1) 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false and does not swear deceitfully. (Dt 10:12; Jó 22:30; Sl 31:6; Sl 73:1; Sl 119:37; Is 33:15; Ez 18:6; Mq 6:8; Mt 5:8) 5 He will receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation. (Gn 22:17; Sl 27:9; Sl 38:22; Sl 51:14; Sl 88:1; Is 46:13; Is 56:1) 6 Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek the face of the God of Jacob.[2] (Sl 14:5; Sl 27:8; Sl 105:4) 7 Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. (Sl 118:19; Is 26:2; 1 Co 2:8) 8 Who is this King of glory? The Lord, strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle! (Ex 15:3) 9 Lift up your heads, O gates! And lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. 10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory! (Ml 1:14)
