Gottes Gebote für das Leben im Land

1 Das sind die Vorschriften und Bestimmungen, die ihr halten und nach denen ihr handeln sollt in dem Land, das Jahwe, der Gott eurer Vorfahren, euch zum Besitz geben wird, solange ihr auf dem Erdboden lebt. 2 Ihr sollt all die Stätten zerstören, wo die Nationen, die ihr vertreiben sollt, ihren Göttern gedient haben: auf den hohen Bergen, auf den Hügeln und unter jedem üppig belaubten Baum. 3 Ihr sollt ihre Altäre abreißen, ihre Steinmale zerbrechen, ihre Aschera-Pfähle verbrennen und ihre Götterbilder zerstören. Nichts darf mehr an sie erinnern. 4 Mit Jahwe, eurem Gott, sollt ihr es anders halten. 5 Ihr sollt nur die Stätte aufsuchen, die Jahwe, euer Gott, aus euren Stämmen zu seiner Wohnung auswählen wird, um seinen Namen dort wohnen zu lassen. Dorthin sollt ihr kommen. 6 Und dorthin sollt ihr eure Brand- und Schlachtopfer^[1] bringen, eure Zehnten, eure Hebopfer und das, was ihr gelobt habt und was ihr freiwillig gebt, und die Erstgeburten von euren Rindern, Schafen und Ziegen. 7 Dort, vor Jahwe, eurem Gott, sollt ihr das Opfermahl halten und euch mit euren Familien an allem freuen, was ihr durch den Segen Jahwes erworben habt. 8 Ihr dürft es dann nicht mehr so tun, wie es heute hier geschieht: Jeder macht es, wie es ihm gefällt. 9 Denn ihr seid bisher noch nicht zur Ruhe gekommen, zu dem Erbbesitz, den Jahwe, euer Gott, euch gibt. 10 Wenn ihr aber den Jordan überschritten habt und in dem Land wohnt, das Jahwe, euer Gott, euch als Erbbesitz zuteilt, wenn er euch Ruhe verschafft hat vor allen Feinden ringsum und ihr sicher wohnt, 11 dann sollt ihr alle eure Brand- und Schlachtopfer, eure Zehnten, eure Hebopfer und die auserlesenen Gaben, die ihr Jahwe feierlich versprochen habt, ausschließlich an den Ort bringen, den Jahwe, euer Gott, auswählen wird, um seinen Namen dort wohnen zu lassen. 12 Dort, in der Gegenwart Jahwes, sollt ihr mit euren Söhnen und Töchtern zusammen fröhlich feiern, mit euren Sklaven und Sklavinnen und dem Leviten aus eurem Ort, denn er hat ja keinen Erbbesitz unter euch. 13 Hüte dich, deine Brandopfer an irgendeinem Ort darzubringen, der dir gerade in die Augen fällt! 14 Nur an dem Ort, den Jahwe aus einem deiner Stämme auswählt, sollst du deine Brandopfer darbringen und alles tun, was ich dir vorschreibe. 15 Doch kannst du in all deinen Ortschaften nach Herzenslust schlachten und Fleisch essen, so wie Jahwe, dein Gott, dich gesegnet hat. Der Unreine^[2] darf genauso davon essen wie der Reine, so wie ihr es bei der Gazelle und beim Hirsch^[3] tut. 16 Nur das Blut dürft ihr nicht essen. Ihr müsst es wie Wasser auf die Erde fließen lassen. 17 Aber Folgendes darfst du nicht in deinen Ortschaften essen: den Zehnten von deinem Korn, deinem Most und deinem Öl; die Erstgeburten deiner Rinder, Schafe und Ziegen; etwas, das du als Gelübde geben willst; deine freiwilligen Gaben und dein Hebopfer. 18 Das sollst du vor Jahwe, deinem Gott, an dem Ort essen, den Jahwe auswählen wird. Du sollst es zusammen mit deinen Söhnen und Töchtern tun, deinen Sklaven und Sklavinnen und dem Leviten, der an deinem Ort wohnt. Und du sollst dich vor Jahwe, deinem Gott, über alles freuen, was du mit deiner Hände Arbeit schaffen konntest. 19 Hüte dich, den Leviten zu vergessen, solange du in deinem Land lebst. 20 Wenn Jahwe, dein Gott, dein Gebiet erweitern wird, wie er es dir versprochen hat, und du gern Fleisch essen möchtest, dann kannst du das nach Herzenslust tun. 21 Wenn der Ort, den Jahwe auswählen wird, um seinen Namen dort wohnen zu lassen, zu weit von dir entfernt ist, darfst du dort, wo du wohnst, von deinen Rindern, Schafen und Ziegen, die Jahwe dir gegeben hat, nach Herzenslust essen, so wie ich es angewiesen habe. 22 Unreine und Reine dürfen davon essen wie von Gazelle und Hirsch. 23 Achte aber unbedingt darauf, kein Blut zu essen. Denn das Blut ist das Leben. Du darfst niemals Fleisch essen, in dem noch Leben ist. 24 Lass das Blut auf die Erde fließen wie Wasser. Du darfst es nicht essen. 25 Und zwar deshalb nicht, damit es dir und deinen Nachkommen gut geht, weil du tust, was vor Jahwe richtig ist. 26 Was jedoch die heiligen Gaben betrifft und die, die du als Gelübde geben willst: Mit denen sollst du zu dem Ort kommen, den Jahwe auswählen wird. 27 Auch deine Brandopfer, das Fleisch und das Blut, sollst du auf dem Altar Jahwes zurichten. Und bei deinen Schlachtopfern muss das Blut an den Altar Jahwes gegossen werden. Das Fleisch kannst du essen. 28 Hab Acht und höre auf alles, was ich dir gebiete, damit es dir und deinen Nachkommen für immer gut geht, weil du tust, was richtig vor Jahwe, deinem Gott, ist. 29 Wenn Jahwe, dein Gott, die Völker vernichtet, in deren Gebiet du kommst, um sie zu vertreiben, und du ihren Besitz übernimmst, wenn du dich in ihrem Land niederlässt, 30 dann hüte dich und lass dich ja nicht verführen, es ihnen nachzumachen, nachdem sie beseitigt sind; dass du ja nicht nach ihren Göttern fragst und sagst: „Wie haben diese Völker ihren Göttern gedient? So will ich es auch machen!“ 31 Jahwe, deinem Gott, sollst du so etwas nicht antun. Denn alles, was Jahwe verabscheut und hasst, haben diese Völker für ihre Götter getan. Sogar ihre Söhne und Töchter haben sie für ihre Götter verbrannt.

1 إِلَيْكُمُ الْفَرَائِضَ وَالأَحْكَامَ الَّتِي عَلَيْكُمْ مُمَارَسَتُهَا فِي الأَرْضِ الَّتِي وَهَبَهَا لَكُمُ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُ آبَائِكُمْ لِتَرِثُوهَا كُلَّ أَيَّامِ حَيَاتِكُمْ عَلَى الأَرْضِ: 2 دَمِّرُوا جَمِيعَ الأَمَاكِنِ الَّتِي تَرِثُونَهَا، حَيْثُ عَبَدَتِ الأُمَمُ آلِهَتَهَا، سَوَاءٌ كَانَتْ عَلَى الْجِبَالِ الشَّامِخَةِ أَمْ عَلَى التِّلالِ أَمْ تَحْتَ كُلِّ شَجَرَةٍ خَضْرَاءَ، 3 وَاهْدِمُوا مَذَابِحَهُمْ، وَحَطِّمُوا أَنْصَابَهُمْ، وَأَحْرِقُوا سَوَارِيَهُمْ. فَتِّتُوا تَمَاثِيلَ آلِهَتِهِمْ وَامْحُوا أَسْمَاءَهُمْ مِنْ ذَلِكَ الْمَكَانِ، 4 وَلا تُمَارِسُوا أَسَالِيبَهُمْ تَذْهَبُونَ، 6 وَتُقَدِّمُونَ مُحْرَقَاتِكُمْ وَذَبَائِحَكُمْ وَعُشُورَكُمْ وَتَقْدِمَاتِكُمْ وَنُذُورَكُمْ وَقَرَابِينَكُمُ الطَّوْعِيَّةَ وَأَبْكَارَ بَقَرِكُمْ وَغَنَمِكُمْ، 7 فَتَأْكُلُونَ هُنَاكَ أَنْتُمْ وَعَائِلاتُكُمْ لَدَى الرَّبِّ، وَتَفْرَحُونَ بِكُلِّ مَا تَمْتَدُّ إِلَيْهِ أَيْدِيكُمْ، لأَنَّ الرَّبَّ إِلَهَكُمْ قَدْ بَارَكَكُمْ. 8 لَا يَصْنَعْ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْكُمْ مَا يَسْتَحْسِنُهُ كَمَا هُوَ حَادِثٌ الْيَوْمَ، 9 لأَنَّكُمْ لَمْ تَدْخُلُوا بَعْدُ إِلَى مَوْضِعِ الرَّاحَةِ وَالْمِيرَاثِ الَّذِي يَهَبُهُ لَكُمُ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ. 10 وَلَكِنْ مَتَى اجْتَزْتُمْ نَهْرَ الأُرْدُنِّ وَاسْتَوْطَنْتُمُ الأَرْضَ الَّتِي وَهَبَهَا لَكُمُ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ، وَأَرَاحَكُمْ مِنْ جَمِيعِ أَعْدَائِكُمُ الْمُحِيطِينَ بِكُمْ، وَسَكَنْتُمْ آمِنِينَ، 11 فَاحْمِلُوا جَمِيعَ مَا أَوْصَيْتُكُمْ بِهِ مِنْ مُحْرَقَاتٍ وَذَبَائِحَ وَعُشُورٍ وَتَقْدِمَاتِ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَقَرَابِينَ طَوْعِيَّةٍ، الَّتِي تُنْذِرُونَهَا لِلرَّبِّ إِلَى الْمَكَانِ الَّذِي يَخْتَارُهُ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ لِيُحِلَّ فِيهِ اسْمَهُ، 12 وَهُنَاكَ احْتَفِلُوا أَنْتُمْ وَبَنُوكُمْ وَبَنَاتُكُمْ وَعَبِيدُكُمْ وَإِمَاؤُكُمْ وَاللّاوِيُّ الْمُقِيمُ فِي جِوَارِكُمْ، لأَنَّهُ لَيْسَ لَهُ نَصِيبٌ أَوْ مِيرَاثٌ خَاصٌّ بِهِ. 13 إِيَّاكُمْ أَنْ تُقَدِّمُوا مُحْرَقَاتِكُمْ فِي أَيِّ مَكَانٍ تَرْغَبُونَ فِيهِ، 14 إِنَّمَا تُصْعِدُونَ مُحْرَقَاتِكُمْ وَتُمَارِسُونَ مَا أَوْصَيْتُكُمْ بِهِ فِي الْمَكَانِ الَّذِي يَخْتَارُهُ الرَّبُّ فِي أَرْضِ أَحَدِ أَسْبَاطِكُمْ. 15 اذْبَحُوا فِي أَيٍّ مِنْ مُدُنِكُمْ أَيًّا مِنَ الْحَيَوَانَاتِ، وَكُلُوا مِنْ لُحُومِهَا بِقَدْرِ مَا تَشَاؤُونَ كَالظَّبْيِ وَالأُيَّلِ حَسَبَ بَرَكَةِ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ. يَأْكُلُ مِنْهَا الإِنْسَانُ الطَّاهِرُ وَالنَّجِسُ عَلَى حَدٍّ سَوَاءٍ. 16 وَأَمَّا الدَّمُ فَلا تَأْكُلُوهُ، بَلِ اسْكُبُوهُ عَلَى الأَرْضِ كَمَا تَسْكُبُونَ الْمَاءَ، 17 احْذَرُوا أَنْ تَأْكُلُوا فِي مُدُنِكُمْ عُشُورَ قَمْحِكُمْ وَخَمْرِكُمْ وَزَيْتِكُمْ، وَلا أَبْكَارَ بَقَرِكُمْ وَغَنَمِكُمْ، وَلا شَيْئاً مِنْ نُذُورِكُمْ أَوْ قَرَابِينِكُمُ الطَّوْعِيَّةِ وَتَقْدِمَاتِ أَيْدِيكُمْ. 18 بَلْ تَأْكُلُونَهَا أَنْتُمْ وَأَبْنَاؤُكُمْ وَبَنَاتُكُمْ وَعَبِيدُكُمْ وَإِمَاؤُكُمْ وَاللّاوِيُّونَ الْمُقِيمُونَ فِي جِوَارِكُمْ لَدَى الرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ فِي الْمَكَانِ الَّذِي يَخْتَارُهُ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ، وَتَحْتَفِلُونَ أَمَامَهُ بِكُلِّ مَا تَمْتَلِكُهُ أَيْدِيكُمْ 19 إِيَّاكُمْ إِهْمَالَ اللّاوِيِّينَ طَوَالَ بَقَائِكُمْ عَلَى أَرْضِكُمْ. 20 وَإذَا وَسَّعَ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ حُدُودَ أَرْضِكُمْ كَمَا وَعَدَكُمْ، وَاشْتَهَتْ أَنْفُسُكُمُ اللَّحْمَ، وَقُلْتُمْ: نَوَدُّ أَكْلَ اللَّحْمِ. فَمِنْ كُلِّ مَا تَشْتَهِيهِ أَنْفُسُكُمْ مِنَ اللَّحْمِ كُلُوا. 21 وَإذَا كَانَ الْمَوْضِعُ الَّذِي يَخْتَارُهُ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ لِيَضَعَ فِيهِ اسْمَهُ بَعِيداً عَنْ مَكَانِ سُكْنَى بَعْضِكُمْ، فَاذْبَحُوا مِنْ بَقَرِكُمْ وَغَنَمِكُمُ الَّتِي أَنْعَمَ بِها الرَّبُّ عَلَيْكُمْ كَمَا أَوْصَيْتُكُمْ، وَكُلُوا فِي مُدُنِكُمْ مِنْ كُلِّ مَا اشْتَهَتْهُ أَنْفُسُكُمْ 22 كُلُوهُ كَمَا يُؤْكَلُ الظَّبْيُ وَالأُيَّلُ. يَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ الإِنْسَانُ الطَّاهِرُ وَالنَّجِسُ عَلَى حَدٍّ سَوَاءٍ. 23 لَكِنْ إِيَّاكُمْ وَأَكْلَ الدَّمِ، لأَنَّ الدَّمَ هُوَ النَّفْسُ. فَلا تَأْكُلُوا النَّفْسَ مَعَ اللَّحْمِ. 24 لَا تَأْكُلُوا مِنْهُ بَلِ اسْكُبُوهُ عَلَى الأَرْضِ كَمَا يُسْكَبُ الْمَاءُ. 25 لَا تَأْكُلُوهُ، لِتَنْعَمُوا أَنْتُمْ وَأَوْلادُكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِكُمْ بِالْخَيْرِ، إِذْ صَنَعْتُمُ الْحَقَّ فِي عَيْنَيِ اللهِ. 26 أَمَّا مَا تُقَدِّسُونَهُ مِنْ أَشْيَاءَ، وَنُذُورُكُمْ فَتَحْمِلُونَهَا وَتَمْضُونَ إِلَى الْمَكَانِ الَّذِي يَخْتَارُهُ الرَّبُّ 27 فَتُقَدِّمُونَ مُحْرَقَاتِكُمُ، اللَّحْمَ وَالدَّمَ عَلَى مَذْبَحِ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ، فَيُسْكَبُ دَمُهَا عَلَى مَذْبَحِ الرَّبِّ. أَمَّا اللَّحْمُ فَتَأْكُلُونَهُ. 28 فَاحْفَظُوا وَأَطِيعُوا جَمِيعَ هَذِهِ الْوَصَايَا الَّتِي أَنَا أَوْصِيِكُمْ بِها لِتَتَمَتَّعُوا أَنْتُمْ وَأَوْلادُكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِكُمْ بِالْخَيْرِ إِلَى الأَبَدِ، إِذْ عَمِلْتُمُ الصَّالِحَ وَالْحَقَّ فِي عَيْنَيِ الرَّبِّ إِلَهِكُمْ. 29 وَمَتَى اسْتَأْصَلَ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ مِنْ أَمَامِكُمُ الأُمَمَ الَّتِي تُوْشِكُونَ عَلَى غَزْوِهِمْ، وَطَرْدِهِمْ، ثُمَّ وَرِثْتُمُوهُمْ وَاسْتَوْطَنْتُمْ فِي أَرْضِهِمْ، 30 فَاحْذَرُوا مِنَ الْوُقُوعِ فِي الشَّرَكِ، بِاتِّبَاعِ عِبَادَاتِهِمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ فَنَائِهِمْ مِنْ أَمَامِكُمْ، وَمِنْ مُمَارَسَةِ مَرَاسِيمِ عِبَادَةِ آلِهَتِهِمْ قَائِلِينَ: كَمَا عَبَدَ هَؤُلاءِ الأُمَمُ آلِهَتَهُمْ هَكَذَا نَفْعَلُ نَحْنُ أَيْضاً. 31 لَا تَصْنَعْ هَكَذَا لِلرَّبِّ إِلَهِكَ، لأَنَّهُمْ قَدِ ارْتَكَبُوا فِي عِبَادَةِ آلِهَتِهِمْ كُلَّ مَا يَمْقُتُهُ الرَّبُّ مِنَ الأَرْجَاسِ، إِذْ أَحْرَقُوا بِالنَّارِ أَبْنَاءَهُمْ وَبَنَاتِهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ آلِهَتِهِمْ، 32 فَاحْرِصُوا عَلَى طَاعَةِ كُلِّ مَا أُوْصِيكُمْ بِهِ. لَا تَزِيدُوا عَلَيْهِ وَلا تُنْقِصُوا مِنْهُ.

The one place of worship

1 These are the decrees and laws you must be careful to follow in the land that the Lord, the God of your ancestors, has given you to possess – as long as you live in the land. 2 Destroy completely all the places on the high mountains, on the hills and under every spreading tree, where the nations you are dispossessing worship their gods. 3 Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones and burn their Asherah poles in the fire; cut down the idols of their gods and wipe out their names from those places. 4 You must not worship the Lord your God in their way. 5 But you are to seek the place the Lord your God will choose from among all your tribes to put his Name there for his dwelling. To that place you must go; 6 there bring your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, what you have vowed to give and your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks. 7 There, in the presence of the Lord your God, you and your families shall eat and shall rejoice in everything you have put your hand to, because the Lord your God has blessed you. 8 You are not to do as we do here today, everyone doing as they see fit, 9 since you have not yet reached the resting-place and the inheritance the Lord your God is giving you. 10 But you will cross the Jordan and settle in the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, and he will give you rest from all your enemies around you so that you will live in safety. 11 Then to the place the Lord your God will choose as a dwelling for his Name – there you are to bring everything I command you: your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, and all the choice possessions you have vowed to the Lord. 12 And there rejoice before the Lord your God – you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levites from your towns who have no land allotted to them or any inheritance of their own. 13 Be careful not to sacrifice your burnt offerings anywhere you please. 14 Offer them only at the place the Lord will choose in one of your tribes, and there observe everything I command you. 15 Nevertheless, you may slaughter your animals in any of your towns and eat as much of the meat as you want, as if it were gazelle or deer, according to the blessing the Lord your God gives you. Both the ceremonially unclean and the clean may eat it. 16 But you must not eat the blood; pour it out on the ground like water. 17 You must not eat in your own towns the tithe of your corn and new wine and olive oil, or the firstborn of your herds and flocks, or whatever you have vowed to give, or your freewill offerings or special gifts. 18 Instead, you are to eat them in the presence of the Lord your God at the place the Lord your God will choose – you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levites from your towns – and you are to rejoice before the Lord your God in everything you put your hand to. 19 Be careful not to neglect the Levites as long as you live in your land. 20 When the Lord your God has enlarged your territory as he promised you, and you crave meat and say, ‘I would like some meat,’ then you may eat as much of it as you want. 21 If the place where the Lord your God chooses to put his Name is too far away from you, you may slaughter animals from the herds and flocks the Lord has given you, as I have commanded you, and in your own towns you may eat as much of them as you want. 22 Eat them as you would gazelle or deer. Both the ceremonially unclean and the clean may eat. 23 But be sure you do not eat the blood, because the blood is the life, and you must not eat the life with the meat. 24 You must not eat the blood; pour it out on the ground like water. 25 Do not eat it, so that it may go well with you and your children after you, because you will be doing what is right in the eyes of the Lord. 26 But take your consecrated things and whatever you have vowed to give, and go to the place the Lord will choose. 27 Present your burnt offerings on the altar of the Lord your God, both the meat and the blood. The blood of your sacrifices must be poured beside the altar of the Lord your God, but you may eat the meat. 28 Be careful to obey all these regulations I am giving you, so that it may always go well with you and your children after you, because you will be doing what is good and right in the eyes of the Lord your God. 29 The Lord your God will cut off before you the nations you are about to invade and dispossess. But when you have driven them out and settled in their land, 30 and after they have been destroyed before you, be careful not to be ensnared by enquiring about their gods, saying, ‘How do these nations serve their gods? We will do the same.’ 31 You must not worship the Lord your God in their way, because in worshipping their gods, they do all kinds of detestable things the Lord hates. They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods. 32 See that you do all I command you; do not add to it or take away from it.^[1]

Туда вы и должны приходить, 6 туда приносите всесожжения и жертвы, десятины и особые дары, посвящённые по обету, добровольные приношения и первородное ваших стад и отар. 7 Там, в присутствии Вечного, вашего Бога, вы и ваши семьи будете есть и радоваться всему, что сотворят ваши руки, потому что Вечный, ваш Бог, благословил вас. 8 Вы не должны поступать так, как мы поступаем сегодня, – каждый, как ему кажется верным, 9 потому что вы ещё не достигли мест покоя и наследия, которое Вечный, ваш Бог, даёт вам. 10 Но вы перейдёте Иордан и поселитесь в земле, которую Вечный, ваш Бог, отдаёт вам в наследие, и Он даст вам покой от всех врагов вокруг вас, чтобы вы жили в безопасности. 11 Тогда к месту, которое Вечный, ваш Бог, выберет для поклонения Ему, вы должны приносить всё, что я повелеваю вам: всесожжения и жертвы, десятины и особые дары, всё лучшее из имущества, что вы посвятили Вечному по обету. 12 Веселитесь там перед Вечным, вашим Богом, вы, ваши сыновья и дочери, слуги и служанки, левиты из ваших городов, у которых нет ни собственного надела, ни наследия. 13 Берегитесь, не приносите всесожжения там, где вам заблагорассудится. 14 Приносите жертвы только в том месте, которое Вечный выберет в одном из ваших родов, и там соблюдайте всё, что я повелеваю вам.

Об употреблении мяса

15 Впрочем, вы можете закалывать скот в любом из городов и есть столько мяса, сколько вам хочется по благословению, которое Вечный, ваш Бог, даёт вам, как если бы это было мясо газели или оленя. Все люди, ритуально нечистые и чистые, могут есть его. 16 Но вы не должны есть кровь. Выливайте её на землю, как воду. 17 Вы не должны есть у себя в городах десятины от зерна, молодого вина и масла, первородное ваших стад и отар, добровольные приношения, особые дары или всё то, что вы посвятили по обету. 18 Всё это вы должны есть в присутствии Вечного, вашего Бога, на том месте, которое Вечный, ваш Бог, укажет вам, – все вы, ваши сыновья и дочери, слуги и служанки, левиты из ваших городов, – есть и радоваться перед Вечным, вашим Богом, всему, что сделали ваши руки. 19 Смотрите, не пренебрегайте левитами, когда будете жить в своей земле. 20 Когда Вечный, ваш Бог, расширит границы ваших земель, как Он и обещал вам, и вы захотите мясного и скажете: «Съем-ка я мяса», то тогда можете есть столько, сколько захотите. 21 Если место, которое Вечный, твой Бог, выберет для поклонения Ему, будет слишком далеко от вас – можете закалывать скот из стад и отар, которые дал вам Вечный, и есть столько, сколько захотите у себя в городах, как я повелел вам. 22 Ешьте их, как если бы это были газель или олень. И нечистый, и чистый человек может есть их.

Запрет употреблять в пищу кровь

23 Но не ешьте кровь, потому что кровь – это жизнь, и вы не должны есть жизнь вместе с мясом. 24 Вы не должны есть кровь; выливайте её на землю, как воду. 25 Не ешьте её, и тогда с вами и с вашими детьми всё будет благополучно, потому что это будет правильно в глазах Вечного. 26 Берите посвящённые вещи и то, что вы обещали отдать по обету, и приходите туда, куда укажет Вечный. 27 Приносите свои всесожжения – и мясо, и кровь – на жертвенник Вечного, своего Бога. Кровь жертв вы должны выливать у жертвенника^[1] Вечного, вашего Бога, а мясо можете съесть. 28 Смотрите, следуйте всем установлениям, которые я даю вам, и тогда с вами и с вашими детьми всегда всё будет благополучно, потому что это правильно в глазах Вечного, вашего Бога.

Предупреждение об идолослужении

29 Вечный, ваш Бог, искоренит перед вами народы, которые вы собираетесь завоёвывать и выселять. Но когда вы прогоните их и поселитесь на их земле, 30 когда все они будут истреблены, тогда будьте осторожны и не угодите в западню, не интересуйтесь их богами и не говорите: «Как эти народы служат своим богам? Я буду делать точно так же». 31 Вы не должны служить Вечному, вашему Богу, так, как они служат своим богам, потому что они творят всевозможные мерзости, которые Вечный ненавидит. Они даже сжигают своих сыновей и дочерей в огне как жертву своим богам. 32 Смотрите, не делайте то, что я запрещаю вам. Не прибавляйте к этому ничего и ничего не убавляйте.
