Das Schicksal Ägyptens

1 Am 12. Januar^[1] im zehnten Jahr unserer Verbannung kam das Wort Jahwes zu mir. Er sagte: 2 „Du Mensch, wende dich gegen den Pharao, den König von Ägypten, und weissage Folgendes über ihn und ganz Ägypten: 3 So spricht Jahwe, der Herr: Du bekommst es mit mir zu tun, Pharao, König von Ägypten, du großes Seeungeheuer, das im Nil und seinen Armen liegt und sagt: Mir gehört der Strom, / ich habe ihn selber gemacht. 4 Ich schlage dir Haken durch die Kinnbacken und lasse die Fische deiner Ströme^[2] an deinen Schuppen kleben und ziehe dich mit all den an dir hängenden Fischen aus ihnen heraus. 5 Dann werfe ich dich samt allen deinen Fischen in die Wüste. Dort bleibst du liegen, niemand sammelt dich auf. Den wilden Tieren und den Vögeln bist du zum Fraß vorgeworfen. 6 Dann werden alle Bewohner Ägyptens erkennen, dass ich Jahwe bin. Denn du bist für das Haus Israel eine Stütze aus Schilfrohr gewesen: 7 Wenn sie dich in die Hand nahmen, knicktest du ein und rissest ihnen die ganze Schulter auf. Und wenn sie sich auf dich lehnten, zerbrachst du und durchbohrtest ihnen die Hüfte. 8 Deshalb spricht Jahwe, der Herr: Pass auf! Ich bringe das Schwert über dich und rotte Menschen und Vieh in dir aus. 9 Ägypten wird zu Wüste und Ödland werden, damit man erkennt, dass ich Jahwe bin. Weil du sagst: , Mir gehört der Strom, / ich habe ihn selber gemacht!', 10 deshalb gehe ich gegen dich und deine Ströme vor. Ich mache Ägypten zum dürren Ödland, zur Wüste, und zwar von Migdol^[3] bis nach Assuan und an die Grenze von Nubien.^[4] 11 Weder Mensch noch Tier ziehen dort hindurch. 40 Jahre lang wird es nicht bewohnt sein. 12 Ich mache Ägypten zur Wüste mitten in verwüsteten Ländern. Seine Städte werden 40 Jahre lang als Trümmerhaufen daliegen, und seine Bewohner werde ich in fremde Länder unter fremde Völker zerstreuen.^[5] 13 Doch so spricht Jahwe, der Herr: Wenn die 40 Jahre vorbei sind, 14 werde ich das Geschick Ägyptens zum Guten wenden und sie nach Oberägypten in das Land Patros, das Land ihrer Herkunft, zurückbringen.^[6] Dort werden sie ein kleines Königreich sein, 15 schwächer als alle anderen Königreiche. Es wird sich nicht mehr über andere Völker erheben, denn ich vermindere ihre Zahl, damit sie nicht mehr über andere Völker herrschen können. 16 Dann wird sich das Haus Israel auch nicht mehr auf sie verlassen und sich an sie hängen, was mich an ihre Schuld erinnern würde. Und man wird erkennen, dass ich, Jahwe, der Herr, bin.“

Tyrus, Ägypten und Nebukadnezzar

17 Am 1. April^[7] im 27. Jahr unserer Verbannung kam das Wort Jahwes zu mir. Er sagte: 18 „Du Mensch, König Nebukadnezzar von Babylon hat sein Heer gegen Tyrus eine schwere Arbeit tun lassen. Jeder Kopf ist dabei kahl geworden und jede Schulter blank gescheuert. Aber Lohn für ihre schwere Mühe haben er und sein Heer dort nicht erhalten.^[8] 19 Darum spricht Jahwe, der Herr: Passt auf! Ich gebe König Nebukadnezzar von Babylon das Land Ägypten. Der ganze Reichtum Ägyptens wird ihm zufallen. Er wird das Land ausplündern, und sein Heer wird reiche Beute machen. Das wird ihr Lohn sein. 20 Weil sie für mich gearbeitet haben, gebe ich ihnen das Land Ägypten als Lohn, spricht Jahwe, der Herr. 21 An dem Tag werde ich auch dem Haus Israel wieder Kraft verleihen, und dir gebe ich Freimut, zu den Leuten zu reden. Sie sollen erkennen, dass ich Jahwe bin.“

1 وَفِي الْيَوْمِ الثَّانِي عَشَرَ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ الْعَاشِرِ الْعِبْرِيِّ (أَيْ كَانُونَ الأَوَّلِ – دِيسَمْبَرَ) مِنَ السَّنَةِ الْعَاشِرَةِ (لِسَبْيِ الْمَلِكِ يَهُويَاكِينَ)، أَوْحَى إِلَيَّ الرَّبُّ بِكَلِمَتِهِ قَائِلاً: 2 «يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ، الْتَفِتْ نَحْوَ فِرْعَوْنَ مَلِكِ مِصْرَ وَتَنَبَّأْ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَى مِصْرَ كُلِّهَا 3 وَقُلْ هَذَا مَا يُعْلِنُهُ السَّيِّدُ الرَّبُّ: هَا أَنَا أَنْقَلِبُ عَلَيْكَ يَا فِرْعَوْنُ مَلِكَ مِصْرَ، أَيُّهَا التِّمْسَاحُ الْكَامِنُ فِي وَسَطِ أَنْهَارِهِ، الْقَائِلُ: النَّهْرُ لِي وَقَدْ صَنَعْتُهُ لِنَفْسِي. 4 هَا أَنَا أَضَعُ خَزَائِمَ فِي فَكَّيْكَ وَأَجْعَلُ سَمَكَ أَنْهَارِكَ يَلْتَصِقُ بِحَرَاشِفِكَ، وَأُخْرِجُكَ قَسْراً مِنْ أَنْهَارِكَ، وَأَسْمَاكُهَا مَا بَرِحَتْ لاصِقَةً بِحَرَاشِفِكَ. 5 وَأَهْجُرُكَ فِي الْبَرِّيَّةِ مَعَ جَمِيعِ سَمَكِ أَنْهَارِكَ، فَتَتَهَاوَى عَلَى سَطْحِ أَرْضِ الصَّحْرَاءِ فَلا تُجْمَعُ وَلاتُلَمُّ بَلْ تَكُونُ قُوتاً لِوُحُوشِ الْبَرِّ وَلِطُيُورِ السَّمَاءِ. 6 فَيُدْرِكُ كُلُّ أَهْلِ مِصْرَ أَنِّي أَنَا الرَّبُّ، لأَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا عُكَّازَ قَصَبٍ هَشَّةً لِشَعْبِ إِسْرَائِيلَ، 7 مَا إِنِ اعْتَمَدُوا عَلَيْكَ بِأَكُفِّهِمْ حَتَّى انْكَسَرْتَ وَمَزَّقْتَ أَكْتَافَهُمْ، وَعِنْدَمَا تَوَكَّأُوا عَلَيْكَ تَحَطَّمْتَ وَقَصَفْتَ كُلَّ مُتُونِهِمْ. 8 لِذَلِكَ هَا أَنَا أَجْلِبُ عَلَيْكَ سَيْفاً وَأَسْتَأْصِلُ مِنْكَ الإِنْسَانَ وَالْحَيَوَانَ، 9 فَتُصْبِحُ دِيَارُ مِصْرَ مُقْفِرَةً خَرِبَةً، فَيُدْرِكُونَ أَنِّي أَنَا الرَّبُّ، لأَنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ قَالَ: لِيَ النَّهْرُ وَأَنَا قَدْ صَنَعْتُهُ. 10 لِذَلِكَ هَا أَنَا أَنْقَلِبُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى أَنْهَارِكَ، وَأَجْعَلُ أَرَاضِي مِصْرَ خَرَائِبَ مُتَرَدِّمَةً مُقْفِرَةً، مِنْ مَجْدَلَ إِلَى أَسْوَانَ حَتَّى تُخُومِ إِثْيُوبِيَا. 11 لَا تَمُرُّ بِها قَدَمُ إِنْسَانٍ وَلا تَجْتَازُهَا رِجْلُ بَهِيمَةٍ، وَتَظَلُّ مَهْجُورَةً مِنَ النَّاسِ طَوَالَ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً. 12 وَأَجْعَلُ دِيَارَ مِصْرَ الأَكْثَرَ وَحْشَةً بَيْنَ الأَرَاضِي الْمُقْفِرَةِ، وَتَظَلُّ مُدُنُهَا الأَكْثَرَ خَرَاباً بَيْنَ الْمُدُنِ الْخَرِبَةِ وَأَشَدَّهَا وَحْشَةً طَوَالَ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً، وَأُشَتِّتُ الْمِصْرِيِّينَ بَيْنَ الأُمَمِ وَأُفَرِّقُهُمْ فِي الْبُلْدَانِ. 13 وَفِي نِهَايَةِ الأَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً أَجْمَعُ الْمِصْرِيِّينَ مِنْ بَيْنِ الشُّعُوبِ الَّتِي تَشَتَّتُوا بَيْنَهَا. 14 وَأَرُدُّ سَبْيَهُمْ، وَأُعِيدُهُمْ إِلَى أَرْضِ فَتْرُوسَ مَوْطِنِهِمْ، فَيَكُونُونَ هُنَاكَ مَمْلَكَةً حَقِيرَةً. 15 بَلْ تَكُونُ أَحْقَرَ الْمَمَالِكِ فَلا تَتَشَامَخُ بَعْدُ عَلَى بَقِيَّةِ الأُمَمِ، وَأَجْعَلُهُمْ أَقَلِّيَّةً لِئَلّا يَتَسَلَّطُوا عَلَى الشُّعُوبِ. 16 فَلا تَكُونُ بَعْدُ مَحَطَّ اعْتِمَادٍ لِشَعْبِ إِسْرَائِيلَ، بَلْ تُذَكِّرُهُمْ بِإِثْمِهِمْ حِينَ ضَلُّوا وَرَاءَهُمْ، فَيُدْرِكُونَ أَنِّي أَنَا السَّيِّدُ الرَّبُّ».

8 Therefore thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will bring a sword upon you, and will cut off from you man and beast, (Hes 14,17) 9 and the land of Egypt shall be a desolation and a waste. Then they will know that I am the Lord. “Because you^[3] said, ‘The Nile is mine, and I made it,’ (Hes 13,8; Hes 29,3; Hes 29,6) 10 therefore, behold, I am against you and against your streams, and I will make the land of Egypt an utter waste and desolation, from Migdol to Syene, as far as the border of Cush. Every head was made bald, and every shoulder was rubbed bare, yet neither he nor his army got anything from Tyre to pay for the labor that he had performed against her. 20 I have given him the land of Egypt as his payment for which he labored, because they worked for me, declares the Lord God. Я вытащу тебя из твоих рек с рыбой, прилипшей к твоей чешуе. 5 Я брошу тебя в пустыню, тебя и рыбу из твоих рек. Ты упадёшь в открытом поле – не подберут тебя, не поднимут. Я отдам тебя в пищу земному зверью и небесным птицам. 6 Тогда все жители Египта узнают, что Я – Вечный. Ты был посохом из тростника для народа Исраила. 7 Когда они брались за тебя, ты расщеплялся и ранил им руки; когда они опирались на тебя, ты ломался, и их ноги теряли устойчивость». 8 Поэтому так говорит Владыка Вечный: «Я наведу на тебя меч и истреблю твоих жителей и их скот. 9 Египет станет безлюдной пустыней. Я рассею египтян между другими народами и развею их по чужим землям». 13 Ведь так говорит Владыка Вечный: «По прошествии сорока лет Я соберу египтян из народов, среди которых они были рассеяны. 14 Я восстановлю и возвращу их в Верхний Египет^[2], землю их предков. Они будут там слабым царством, (Hes 30,14) 15 самым слабым из царств, и никогда впредь не возвысятся над другими народами. Я так ослаблю их, что они впредь не смогут править народами. 16 Египет больше не будет опорой для Исраила; он будет напоминанием людям о грехе, который они совершили, обращаясь к нему за помощью. 17 В двадцать седьмом году, в первый день первого месяца (26 апреля 571 г. до н. э.), было ко мне слово Вечного: 18 – Смертный, Навуходоносор, царь Вавилона, заставил своё войско немало потрудиться под Тиром: все головы оплешивели, все плечи натёрты от непосильного труда. Но ни он, ни его войско ничего не получили от Тира в уплату за труды. 19 Поэтому так говорит Владыка Вечный: – Я отдам Навуходоносору, царю Вавилона, землю Египта, и он захватит её богатства. Он оберёт и разграбит её, чтобы заплатить войску. 20 Я отдаю ему Египет в награду за труды, потому что он и его войско трудились для Меня, – возвещает Владыка Вечный. 21 В тот день Я сделаю Исраил сильным^[3] и дам тебе что им сказать, и они узнают, что Я – Вечный.
