1Gott dachte an Noah und an all die Wildtiere und das Herdenvieh, das mit ihm in der Arche war, und er ließ einen Wind über die Erde wehen. Da kam das Wasser zur Ruhe,2die Quellen der Tiefe und die Schleusen des Himmels wurden verschlossen und der Regenfall gestoppt.3Dann verliefen sich die Wassermassen allmählich von der Erde. Nach den 150 Tagen nahmen sie immer mehr ab,4und am 17. Tag des siebten Monats setzte die Arche irgendwo auf dem Gebirge Ararat auf.5Das Wasser nahm dann immer weiter ab, sodass man am ersten Tag des zehnten Monats die Bergspitzen sehen konnte.640 Tage später öffnete Noah das Fenster, das er in die Arche eingelassen hatte, und ließ einen Raben hinaus.7Der flog hin und zurück, immer wieder, bis die Erde trocken war.8Dann ließ Noah eine Taube fliegen, um zu sehen, ob sich das Wasser vom Erdboden verlaufen hätte.9Doch die Taube fand keinen Ruheplatz für sich, überall stand noch Wasser auf der Erde. Da kehrte sie zu ihm zurück. Er langte mit dem Arm hinaus und holte sie wieder in die Arche.10Dann wartete er weitere sieben Tage und ließ sie noch einmal fliegen.11Gegen Abend kam die Taube. Im Schnabel hatte sie ein frisch abgerissenes Olivenblatt. Noah erkannte jetzt, dass sich das Wasser von der Erde verlaufen hatte.12Er wartete noch einmal sieben Tage und ließ die Taube wieder hinaus. Jetzt kehrte sie nicht mehr zu ihm zurück.13Im 601. Lebensjahr Noahs, am ersten Tag des ersten Monats, war das Wasser von der Erde abgetrocknet. Als Noah jetzt das Dach der Arche entfernte und Ausschau hielt, sah er, dass kein Wasser mehr auf der Erde stand.14Am 27. Tag des zweiten Monats war die Erde trocken.15Da sagte Gott zu Noah:16„Verlass jetzt die Arche mit deiner Frau, deinen Söhnen und ihren Frauen.17Und lass alle Tiere, die bei dir sind, mit hinausziehen: die Vögel, das Herdenvieh und alles, was sich auf der Erde regt. Sie sollen fruchtbar sein und sich vermehren. Auf der Erde soll es wieder wimmeln von ihnen.“18Da ging Noah mit seinen Söhnen, seiner Frau und seinen Schwiegertöchtern ins Freie.19Auch alle Arten von Tieren, alles, was kriecht und fliegt und sich auf der Erde regt, zog aus der Arche.20Dann baute Noah Jahwe einen Altar. Dort opferte er ihm einige von den reinen Tieren und Vögeln als Brandopfer.21Jahwe roch den angenehmen Duft und sagte sich: „Nicht noch einmal werde ich nur wegen des Menschen den Erdboden verfluchen. Alles, was aus seinem Herzen kommt, ist ja böse – von seiner frühesten Jugend an. Nicht noch einmal werde ich alles Lebendige auslöschen, wie ich es tat.22Von jetzt an, / solange die Erde besteht, / soll nicht aufhören: / Saat und Ernte, / Frost und Hitze, / Sommer und Winter, / Tag und Nacht.“
1But God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the livestock that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind blow over the earth, and the waters subsided. (1Mo 19,29; 1Mo 30,22; 2Mo 2,24; 2Mo 14,21; 1Sam 1,19)2The fountains of the deep and the windows of the heavens were closed, the rain from the heavens was restrained, (1Mo 7,11)3and the waters receded from the earth continually. At the end of 150 days the waters had abated, (1Mo 7,24)4and in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat. (2Kön 19,37; Jes 37,38; Jer 51,27)5And the waters continued to abate until the tenth month; in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains were seen.6At the end of forty days Noah opened the window of the ark that he had made7and sent forth a raven. It went to and fro until the waters were dried up from the earth.8Then he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters had subsided from the face of the ground.9But the dove found no place to set her foot, and she returned to him to the ark, for the waters were still on the face of the whole earth. So he put out his hand and took her and brought her into the ark with him.10He waited another seven days, and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark.11And the dove came back to him in the evening, and behold, in her mouth was a freshly plucked olive leaf. So Noah knew that the waters had subsided from the earth.12Then he waited another seven days and sent forth the dove, and she did not return to him anymore.13In the six hundred and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried from off the earth. And Noah removed the covering of the ark and looked, and behold, the face of the ground was dry.14In the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth had dried out.15Then God said to Noah,16“Go out from the ark, you and your wife, and your sons and your sons’ wives with you. (1Mo 7,13)17Bring out with you every living thing that is with you of all flesh—birds and animals and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth—that they may swarm on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth.” (1Mo 1,22; 1Mo 1,28; 1Mo 9,1)18So Noah went out, and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him.19Every beast, every creeping thing, and every bird, everything that moves on the earth, went out by families from the ark.
God’s Covenant with Noah
20Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and took some of every clean animal and some of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar.21And when the Lord smelled the pleasing aroma, the Lord said in his heart, “I will never again curse[1] the ground because of man, for the intention of man’s heart is evil from his youth. Neither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done. (1Mo 3,17; 1Mo 6,5; 1Mo 6,17; 1Mo 9,11; 1Mo 9,15; 2Mo 29,18; 2Mo 29,25; 2Mo 29,41; 3Mo 1,9; 3Mo 1,13; 3Mo 1,17; Ps 58,3; Jes 54,9; Hes 16,19; Hes 20,41; Mt 15,19; Röm 1,21; 2Kor 2,15; Eph 5,2; Phil 4,18)22While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.” (Jer 5,24; Jer 33,20; Jer 33,25)

Тогда Нух понял, что вода сошла с земли.12Он подождал ещё семь дней и снова выпустил голубя, и на этот раз голубь не вернулся.13К первому дню первого месяца шестьсот первого года жизни Нуха земля высохла от воды. Нух поднял крышу ковчега, выглянул и увидел, что земля сухая.14К двадцать седьмому дню второго месяца земля стала совершенно сухой.15Тогда Всевышний сказал Нуху:16– Выйди из ковчега и ты, и твоя жена, и твои сыновья, и их жёны.17Выведи наружу все живые существа, которые с тобой, – птиц, зверей и всех пресмыкающихся, чтобы они могли расти числом, и плодиться, и размножаться на земле.18И Нух вышел из ковчега вместе со своими сыновьями, женой и жёнами своих сыновей.19Все звери, и все пресмыкающиеся, и все птицы – всё, что движется по земле, – вышли из ковчега, один вид за другим.
Всевышний заключает Своё священное соглашение с Нухом
20Нух построил Вечному жертвенник и принёс на нём жертву всесожжения из всех видов чистых животных и птиц.21Вечный почувствовал приятный запах и сказал в сердце Своём: «Никогда впредь не стану Я проклинать землю из-за человека, хотя всякое помышление его сердца порочно с детства. И никогда впредь не уничтожу всех живых существ, как в этот раз.22Пока существует земля, не прекратятся сев и жатва, холод и зной, лето и зима, день и ночь».
