Il Messia, Re e Sacerdote

1 Salmo di Davide. Il Signore ha detto al mio Signore: «Siedi alla mia destra finché io abbia fatto dei tuoi nemici lo sgabello dei tuoi piedi^[1]». 2 Il Signore stenderà da Sion lo scettro del tuo potere. Domina in mezzo ai tuoi nemici! 3 Il tuo popolo si offre volenteroso quando raduni il tuo esercito. Parata di santità, dal seno dell’alba la tua gioventù viene a te come rugiada. 4 Il Signore ha giurato e non si pentirà: «Tu sei Sacerdote in eterno, secondo l’ordine di Melchisedec^[2]». 5 Il Signore, alla tua destra, schiaccia dei re nel giorno della sua ira, 6 giudica i popoli, ammucchia i cadaveri, stritola la testa ai nemici in un vasto territorio. 7 Si disseta al torrente lungo il cammino e perciò terrà alta la testa.

1 Ein Psalmlied von David. So spricht Jahwe zu meinem Herrn: / „Setz dich an meine rechte Seite, / bis ich deine Feinde zur Fußbank für dich mache.^[1] (Mat 22,44; Mar 12,36; Lu 20,42; At 2,34; Eb 1,13)

2 Von Zion breitet Jahwe deine Königsmacht in alle Richtungen aus. / Inmitten deiner Feinde herrsche du! 3 Dein Volk kommt willig, wenn deine Macht erscheint. / Geschmückt wie der Tau in heiliger Pracht / kommt deine junge Mannschaft zu dir.“ 4 Jahwe hat geschworen und bereut es nicht: / „Du bist mein Priester für ewige Zeit, / so wie Melchisedek es seinerzeit war.“^[2] (Gen 14,17; Eb 5,6; Eb 7,17) 5 Der Herr wird dir zur Seite stehen, / der am Tag seines Zorns Könige zermalmt, 6 der Gericht hält über die Völker und Täler mit Leichen füllt. / Er zerschmettert das Haupt über die ganze Welt. 7 Er trinkt aus dem Bach neben dem Weg, / kehrt heim mit erhobenem Haupt.

1 Así dijo el Señor a mi Señor: «Siéntate a mi derecha hasta que ponga a tus enemigos por estrado de tus pies.» 2 ¡Que el Señor extienda desde Sión el poder de tu cetro! ¡Domina tú en medio de tus enemigos! 3 Tus tropas estarán dispuestas el día de la batalla, ordenadas en santa majestad. De las entrañas de la aurora recibirás el rocío de tu juventud. 4 El Señor ha jurado y no cambiará de parecer: «Tú eres sacerdote para siempre, según el orden de Melquisedec.» 5 El Señor está a tu mano derecha; aplastará a los reyes en el día de su ira. 6 Juzgará a las naciones y amontonará cadáveres; aplastará cabezas en toda la tierra. 7 Beberá de un arroyo junto al camino, y por lo tanto cobrará nuevas fuerzas.^[1]
