Inno alla grandezza e alla gloria di Dio

1 Cantate al Signore un cantico nuovo, cantate al Signore, abitanti di tutta la terra! 2 Cantate al Signore, benedite il suo nome, annunciate di giorno in giorno la sua salvezza! 3 Proclamate la sua gloria fra le nazioni e i suoi prodigi fra tutti i popoli! 4 Perché il Signore è grande e degno di sovrana lode; egli è tremendo sopra tutti gli dèi. 5 Poiché tutti gli dèi delle nazioni sono idoli vani; il Signore, invece, ha fatto i cieli. 6 Splendore e maestà sono davanti a lui, forza e bellezza stanno nel suo santuario. 7 Date al Signore, o famiglie dei popoli, date al Signore gloria e forza. 8 Date al Signore la gloria dovuta al suo nome, portategli offerte e venite nei suoi cortili. 9 Prostratevi davanti al Signore vestiti di sacri ornamenti, tremate davanti a lui, abitanti di tutta la terra! 10 Dite fra i popoli: «Il Signore regna; il mondo quindi è saldo e non potrà vacillare; il Signore giudicherà le nazioni con rettitudine». 11 Gioiscano i cieli ed esulti la terra; risuoni il mare e quanto contiene. 12 Esultino i campi e quanto è in essi; tutti gli alberi delle foreste emettano grida di gioia 13 in presenza del Signore; poiché egli viene, viene a giudicare la terra. Egli giudicherà il mondo con giustizia e i popoli con verità.

1 Singet dem HERRN ein neues Lied; singet dem HERRN, alle Welt! (1Cr 16,23; Sal 33,3) 2 Singet dem HERRN und lobet seinen Namen, verkündet von Tag zu Tag sein Heil! 3 Erzählet unter den Heiden von seiner Herrlichkeit, unter allen Völkern von seinen Wundern! 4 Denn der HERR ist groß und hoch zu loben, mehr zu fürchten als alle Götter. 5 Denn alle Götter der Völker sind Götzen; aber der HERR hat den Himmel gemacht. 6 Hoheit und Pracht sind vor ihm, Macht und Herrlichkeit in seinem Heiligtum. 7 Ihr Völker, bringet dar dem HERRN, bringet dar dem HERRN Ehre und Macht! 8 Bringet dar dem HERRN die Ehre seines Namens, bringet Geschenke und kommt in seine Vorhöfe! 9 Betet an den HERRN in heiligem Schmuck; es fürchte ihn alle Welt! 10 Sagt unter den Heiden: Der HERR ist König. Er hat den Erdkreis gegründet, dass er nicht wankt. Er richtet die Völker recht. (Sal 93,1) 11 Der Himmel freue sich, und die Erde sei fröhlich, das Meer brause und was darinnen ist; (Sal 98,7; Is 49,13) 12 das Feld sei fröhlich und alles, was darauf ist; jauchzen sollen alle Bäume im Walde 13 vor dem HERRN; denn er kommt, denn er kommt, zu richten das Erdreich. Er wird den Erdkreis richten mit Gerechtigkeit und die Völker mit seiner Wahrheit. (Sal 82,8; At 17,31)

1 O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth. 2 Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day. 3 Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people. 4 For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods. 5 For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens. 6 Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. 7 Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength. 8 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts. 9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth. 10 Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously. 11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof. 12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice 13 Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

1 Canten al Señor un cántico nuevo; canten al Señor, habitantes de toda la tierra. 2 Canten al Señor, alaben su nombre; anuncien día tras día su victoria. 3 Proclamen su gloria entre las naciones, sus maravillas entre todos los pueblos. 4 ¡Grande es el Señor y digno de alabanza, más temible que todos los dioses! 5 Todos los dioses de las naciones no son nada, pero el Señor ha creado los cielos. 6 El esplendor y la majestad son sus heraldos; hay poder y belleza en su santuario. 7 Tributen al Señor, pueblos todos, tributen al Señor la gloria y el poder. 8 Tributen al Señor la gloria que merece su nombre; traigan sus ofrendas y entren en sus atrios. 9 Póstrense ante el Señor en la majestad de su santuario; ¡tiemble delante de él toda la tierra! 10 Que se diga entre las naciones: «¡El Señor es rey!» Ha establecido el mundo con firmeza; jamás será removido. Él juzga a los pueblos con equidad. 11 ¡Alégrense los cielos, regocíjese la tierra! ¡Brame el mar y todo lo que él contiene! 12 ¡Canten alegres los campos y todo lo que hay en ellos! ¡Canten jubilosos todos los árboles del bosque! 13 ¡Canten delante del Señor, que ya viene! ¡Viene ya para juzgar la tierra!
