O Signore, Dio mio, in te confido; salvami da chi mi perseguita, liberami,2affinché il nemico, come un leone, non sbrani l’anima mia lacerandola, senza che alcuno mi liberi.3O Signore, Dio mio, se ho fatto così, se c’è perversità nelle mie mani,4se ho reso male per bene a chi viveva in pace con me (io che ho lasciato andare libero colui che mi era nemico senza ragione),5il mio nemico perseguiti pure la mia anima e la raggiunga, calpesti al suolo la mia vita e getti pure la mia gloria nella polvere.
