1 Al direttore del coro. Dei figli di Core. Salmo. Battete le mani, o popoli tutti; acclamate Dio con grida di gioia! 2 Poiché il Signore, l’Altissimo, è tremendo, re supremo su tutta la terra. 3 Egli sottomette i popoli a noi e pone le nazioni sotto i nostri piedi. 4 Egli ha scelto per noi la nostra eredità, gloria di Giacobbe che egli ama. [Pausa] 5 Dio sale tra grida di trionfo, il Signore sale al suono di trombe. 6 Cantate a Dio, cantate; cantate al nostro re, cantate! 7 Poiché Dio è re di tutta la terra; cantategli un inno solenne. 8 Dio regna sui popoli; Dio siede sul suo trono santo. 9 I capi dei popoli si riuniscono insieme al popolo del Dio di Abraamo; perché a Dio appartengono i potenti della terra; egli è l’Altissimo.

Jauchzt Gott mit Jubelschall! 3 Denn der HERR, der Höchste, ist gefürchtet, ein großer König über die ganze Erde. (Sal 66,5; Sal 95,3; Sal 99,2; Zac 14,9; Mal 1,14) 4 Er unterwarf uns die Völker und die Völkerschaften unter unsere Füße. 5 Er erwählte für uns unser Erbe, den Stolz Jakobs, den er geliebt hat. // (Ez 20,6; Am 8,7; Mal 2,3) 6 Gott ist emporgestiegen unter Jauchzen, der HERR beim Schall des Horns. (1Cr 15,28) 7 Singt Gott, singet, singt unserem König, singet[1]! (Sal 30,5) 8 Denn Gott ist König der ganzen Erde; singt einen Psalm[2]! (Sal 99,2; Zac 14,9; Mal 1,14) 9 Gott ist König geworden über die Nationen; Gott hat sich auf seinen heiligen Thron gesetzt. 1 To the choirmaster. A Psalm of the Sons of Korah. Clap your hands, all peoples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy! (1Sam 10,24; 2Re 11,12; Sal 42,1; Sal 95,1; Is 55,12; Na 3,19) 2 For the Lord, the Most High, is to be feared, a great king over all the earth. (De 7,21; Sal 66,3; Sal 66,5; Sal 68,35; Mal 1,14) 3 He subdued peoples under us, and nations under our feet. (Sal 18,47) 4 He chose our heritage for us, the pride of Jacob whom he loves. (Sal 2,8; Am 6,8; Am 8,7; Na 2,2; 1P 1,4) 5 God has gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet. (2Sam 6,15; Sal 68,18) 6 Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our King, sing praises! 7 For God is the King of all the earth; sing praises with a psalm![1] (Zac 14,9; 1Co 14,15) 8 God reigns over the nations; God sits on his holy throne. (1Cr 16,31; Sal 22,28) 9 The princes of the peoples gather as the people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the earth belong to God; he is highly exalted! 1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph. 2 For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth. 3 He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet. 4 He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah. 5 God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet. 6 Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises. 7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding. 8 God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness. 9 The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.
