Due uomini, due vie, due destini

1 Beato l’uomo che non cammina secondo il consiglio degli empi, che non si ferma nella via dei peccatori, né si siede in compagnia degli schernitori, 

2 ma il cui diletto è nella legge del Signore e su quella legge medita giorno e notte. 

3 Egli sarà come un albero piantato vicino a ruscelli, il quale dà il suo frutto nella sua stagione e il cui fogliame non appassisce; e tutto quello che fa prospererà. 

4 Non così gli empi, anzi sono come pula che il vento disperde. 

5 Perciò gli empi non reggeranno davanti al giudizio, né i peccatori nell’assemblea dei giusti. 

6 Poiché il Signore conosce la via dei giusti, ma la via degli empi conduce alla rovina.

1 Glücklich der Mann, der nicht folgt dem Rat der Gottlosen, den Weg der Sünder nicht betritt und nicht im Kreis der Spötter sitzt, (Sal 26,4; Prov 1,15; Prov 4,14; Ef 5,7) 

2 sondern seine Lust hat am Gesetz des HERRN und über sein Gesetz sinnt Tag und Nacht! (Gios 1,8; Sal 112,1; Sal 119,15; Sal 119,35; Ro 7,22) 

3 Er ist wie ein Baum, gepflanzt an Wasserbächen, der seine Frucht bringt zu seiner Zeit, und dessen Laub nicht verwelkt; alles, was er tut, gelingt. (Gen 39,3; Sal 92,14; Sal 128,2; Is 58,11; Ger 17,8) 

4 Nicht so die Gottlosen; sondern ⟨sie sind⟩ wie Spreu, die der Wind verweht. (Giob 21,18; Sal 35,5; Sal 37,36; Os 13,3) 

5 Darum bestehen Gottlose nicht im Gericht, noch Sünder in der Gemeinde der Gerechten. (2P 2,9) 

6 Denn der HERR kennt den Weg der Gerechten; aber der Gottlosen Weg vergeht. (1Sam 2,9; Sal 37,18; Sal 142,4)

The Way of the Righteous and the Wicked

1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; (Giob 21,16; Sal 26,4; Sal 107,32; Prov 1,10; Prov 1,22; Prov 3,34; Prov 4,14; Prov 4,15; Prov 19,29; Prov 21,24; Prov 29,8; Is 28,14; Ger 15,17) 

2 but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. (Gios 1,8; Sal 112,1; Sal 119,1; Sal 119,35; Sal 119,47; Sal 119,92; Sal 119,97) 

3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. (Gen 39,3; Gen 39,23; Nu 24,6; Giob 29,19; Sal 46,4; Sal 128,2; Is 3,10; Is 34,4; Ger 17,8; Ez 19,10; Ez 47,12) 

4 The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. (Giob 21,18) 

5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; (Sal 5,5; Sal 76,7; Ez 13,9; Na 1,6; Lu 21,36; Ef 6,13)

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. 

4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 

5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 

6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
