1 Questo è il libro della genealogia di Adamo. Nel giorno che Dio creò l’uomo, lo fece a somiglianza di Dio; 2 li creò maschio e femmina, li benedisse e diede loro il nome di «uomo», nel giorno che furono creati. 3 Adamo visse centotrent’anni, generò un figlio a sua somiglianza, a sua immagine, e lo chiamò Set; 4 il tempo che Adamo visse, dopo aver generato Set, fu di ottocento anni ed egli generò figli e figlie; 5 tutto il tempo che Adamo visse fu di novecentotrent’anni; poi morì. 6 Set visse centocinque anni e generò Enos. 7 Set, dopo aver generato Enos, visse ottocentosette anni, e generò figli e figlie. 8 Tutto il tempo che Set visse fu di novecentododici anni; poi morì. 9 Enos visse novant’anni e generò Chenan. 10 Enos, dopo aver generato Chenan, visse ottocentoquindici anni e generò figli e figlie. 11 Tutto il tempo che Enos visse fu di novecentocinque anni; poi morì. 12 Chenan visse settant’anni e generò Maalaleel. 13 E Chenan, dopo aver generato Maalaleel, visse ottocentoquarant’anni e generò figli e figlie. 14 Tutto il tempo che Chenan visse fu di novecentodieci anni; poi morì. 15 Maalaleel visse sessantacinque anni e generò Iared. 16 E Maalaleel, dopo aver generato Iared, visse ottocentotrent’anni e generò figli e figlie. 17 Tutto il tempo che Maalaleel visse fu di ottocentonovantacinque anni; poi morì. 18 E Iared visse centosessantadue anni, e generò Enoc. 19 Iared, dopo aver generato Enoc, visse ottocento anni e generò figli e figlie; 20 tutto il tempo che Iared visse fu di novecentosessantadue anni; poi morì. 21 Enoc visse sessantacinque anni e generò Metusela. 22 Enoc, dopo aver generato Metusela, camminò con Dio trecento anni e generò figli e figlie. 23 Tutto il tempo che Enoc visse fu di trecentosessantacinque anni. 24 Enoc camminò con Dio; poi scomparve, perché Dio lo prese. 25 Metusela visse centottantasette anni e generò Lamec. 26 E Metusela, dopo aver generato Lamec, visse settecentottantadue anni e generò figli e figlie. 27 Tutto il tempo che Metusela visse fu di novecentosessantanove anni; poi morì. 28 Lamec visse centottantadue anni e generò un figlio, 29 che chiamò Noè^[1], dicendo: «Questo ci consolerà della nostra opera e della fatica delle nostre mani a causa del suolo che il Signore ha maledetto». 30 Lamec, dopo aver generato Noè, visse cinquecentonovantacinque anni e generò figli e figlie. 31 Tutto il tempo che Lamec visse fu di settecentosettantasette anni; poi morì. 32 Noè, all’età di cinquecento anni, generò Sem, Cam e Iafet.

1 Dies ist das Buch der Generationenfolge^[1] Adams. An dem Tag, als Gott Adam schuf, machte er ihn Gott ähnlich^[2]. (Gen 1,27; Mat 1,1) 2 Als Mann und Frau^[3] schuf er sie, und er segnete sie und gab ihnen den Namen Mensch^[4], an dem Tag, als sie geschaffen wurden. – (Gen 1,27) 3 Und Adam lebte 130 Jahre und zeugte ⟨einen Sohn⟩ ihm ähnlich^[5], nach seinem Bild, und gab ihm den Namen Set. (Gen 4,25; 1Co 15,49) 4 Und die Tage Adams, nachdem er Set gezeugt hatte, betrugen 800 Jahre, und er zeugte Söhne und Töchter. 5 Und alle Tage Adams, die er lebte, betrugen 930 Jahre, dann starb er. – (Gen 3,19) 6 Und Set lebte 105 Jahre und zeugte Enosch. (Giuda 1,14) 19 Und Jered lebte, nachdem er Henoch gezeugt hatte, 800 Jahre und zeugte Söhne und Töchter. 20 Und alle Tage Jereds betrugen 962 Jahre, dann starb er. – 21 Und Henoch^[7] lebte 65 Jahre und zeugte Metuschelach. 22 Und Henoch wandelte^[8] mit Gott, nachdem er Metuschelach gezeugt hatte, 300 Jahre und zeugte Söhne und Töchter. (Gen 6,9; Mal 2,6) 23 Und alle Tage Henochs betrugen 365 Jahre. 24 Und Henoch wandelte^[9] mit Gott; und er war nicht mehr da, denn Gott nahm ihn hinweg. – (2Re 2,12; Eb 11,5) 25 Und Metuschelach lebte 187 Jahre und zeugte Lamech. 26 Und Metuschelach lebte, nachdem er Lamech gezeugt hatte, 782 Jahre und zeugte Söhne und Töchter. 27 Und alle Tage Metuschelachs betrugen 969 Jahre, dann starb er. – 28 Und Lamech lebte 182 Jahre und zeugte einen Sohn. 29 Und er gab ihm den Namen Noah, indem er sagte: Dieser wird uns trösten über unserer Arbeit und über^[10] der Mühsal unserer Hände von dem Erdboden, den der HERR verflucht hat. (Gen 3,17) 30 Und Lamech lebte, nachdem er Noah gezeugt hatte, 595 Jahre und zeugte Söhne und Töchter. 31 Und alle Tage Lamechs betrugen 777 Jahre, dann starb er. – 32 Und Noah war 500 Jahre alt; und Noah zeugte Sem, Ham und Jafet. Adam’s Descendants to Noah

1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God. (Gen 1,26) 2 Male and female he created them, and he blessed them and named them Man^[1] when they were created. 3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he fathered a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth. (Gen 4,25) 4 The days of Adam after he fathered Seth were 800 years; and he had other sons and daughters. (1Cr 1,1; Lu 3,36) 5 Thus all the days that Adam lived were 930 years, and he died. (Gen 3,19) 6 When Seth had lived 105 years, he fathered Enosh. 23 Thus all the days of Enoch were 365 years. 24 Enoch walked with God, and he was not,^[3] for God took him. (Gen 5,22; 2Re 2,11; Eb 11,5) 25 When Methuselah had lived 187 years, he fathered Lamech. 26 Methuselah lived after he fathered Lamech 782 years and had other sons and daughters. 27 Thus all the days of Methuselah were 969 years, and he died. 28 When Lamech had lived 182 years, he fathered a son 29 and called his name Noah, saying, “Out of the ground that the Lord has cursed, this one shall bring us relief^[4] from our work and from the painful toil of our hands.” (Gen 3,17) 30 Lamech lived after he fathered Noah 595 years and had other sons and daughters. 31 Thus all the days of Lamech were 777 years, and he died. 32 After Noah was 500 years old, Noah fathered Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
