Ezechiele 25

1 The word of the Lord came to me:2 “Son of man, set your face toward the Ammonites and prophesy against them. (Ger 49,1; Ez 2,1; Ez 6,2; Ez 21,20; Ez 21,28)3 Say to the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord God: Thus says the Lord God, Because you said, ‘Aha!’ over my sanctuary when it was profaned, and over the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and over the house of Judah when they went into exile, (Ez 2,4; Ez 3,11; Ez 3,27; Ez 7,22; Ez 26,2; Ez 36,2)4 therefore behold, I am handing you over to the people of the East for a possession, and they shall set their encampments among you and make their dwellings in your midst. They shall eat your fruit, and they shall drink your milk. (Giudic 6,3)5 I will make Rabbah a pasture for camels and Ammon[1] a fold for flocks. Then you will know that I am the Lord. (2Sam 11,1; 2Sam 12,26; Ez 21,20; Ez 24,27; So 2,15)6 For thus says the Lord God: Because you have clapped your hands and stamped your feet and rejoiced with all the malice within your soul against the land of Israel, (Sal 98,8; Is 55,12; Ez 6,11; Ez 25,15; Ez 36,5; So 2,8; So 2,10)7 therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand against you, and will hand you over as plunder to the nations. And I will cut you off from the peoples and will make you perish out of the countries; I will destroy you. Then you will know that I am the Lord. (Ez 6,14; Ez 7,21; Ez 25,4)8 “Thus says the Lord God: Because Moab and Seir[2] said, ‘Behold, the house of Judah is like all the other nations,’ (Is 15,1; Ger 25,17; Ger 48,1; Ez 25,12)9 therefore I will lay open the flank of Moab from the cities, from its cities on its frontier, the glory of the country, Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim. (Gios 12,3; 1Cr 5,8; Ger 48,1; Ez 25,8)10 I will give it along with the Ammonites to the people of the East as a possession, that the Ammonites may be remembered no more among the nations, (Ez 21,32; Ez 25,2; Ez 25,4)11 and I will execute judgments upon Moab. Then they will know that I am the Lord. (Ez 6,7; Ez 25,8)12 “Thus says the Lord God: Because Edom acted revengefully against the house of Judah and has grievously offended in taking vengeance on them, (2Cr 28,17; Sal 137,7; Is 21,11; Is 34,5; Ger 49,7; Ez 25,8; Ez 25,15; Ez 32,29; Ez 35,2; Ez 35,5; Am 1,11; Abd 1,1)13 therefore thus says the Lord God, I will stretch out my hand against Edom and cut off from it man and beast. And I will make it desolate; from Teman even to Dedan they shall fall by the sword. (1Cr 1,45; Is 21,13; Ez 6,14; Ez 27,15; Ez 27,20; Ez 38,13; Am 1,12)14 And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel, and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath, and they shall know my vengeance, declares the Lord God. (Ez 25,17; Am 9,12; Abd 1,18)15 “Thus says the Lord God: Because the Philistines acted revengefully and took vengeance with malice of soul to destroy in never-ending enmity, (Is 14,29; Ger 25,20; Ger 47,1; Ez 25,6; Ez 25,12; Ez 36,5; Gioe 3,4; Am 1,6; So 2,4)16 therefore thus says the Lord God, Behold, I will stretch out my hand against the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites and destroy the rest of the seacoast. (1Sam 30,14; Ez 25,13)17 I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes. Then they will know that I am the Lord, when I lay my vengeance upon them.” (Ez 5,15; Ez 25,14)

Ezechiele 25

King James Version

1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,2 Son of man, set thy face against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them;3 And say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity;4 Behold, therefore I will deliver thee to the men of the east for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee, and make their dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.5 And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the Ammonites a couchingplace for flocks: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.6 For thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast clapped thine hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of Israel;7 Behold, therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the heathen; and I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.8 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the heathen;9 Therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Bethjeshimoth, Baalmeon, and Kiriathaim,10 Unto the men of the east with the Ammonites, and will give them in possession, that the Ammonites may not be remembered among the nations.11 And I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the LORD.12 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them;13 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.14 And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord GOD.15 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred;16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.17 And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.
